This sort of content is golden! I love to practice, but making it meaningful is tough.

Tons of great stuff in here, Hannah. Even as a low handicap player with a normally good and varied practice routine, I can sometimes fall into that black hole of banging 8-irons one after another down the range at the same target, looking for...well, looking for something or other. So your idea of having a time constraint for a drill or limiting it to a certain number of balls and then moving on is a very good one. And the stick drill for start line. I've done it in the past and forgot how good it is - and how hard it can be! Will do that one tomorrow, as well. Thanks, HH!

    great video Hannah
i love doing good practice on the course (when its quiet enough) - find it great if i hit GIR to then pick the ball up and throw whatever direction off the green and try and get up and down as many time through the round
also love a hybrid chip - not utilised by people enough - its so easy and such a great option

Some simple ideas that everyone should do. Writing down a plan, and recording the results are key. This video makes me realise I don't practice enough, and why my handicap has been going up for a couple of years.

Its good to see/hear a pro level golfer and i are both working on grip change from strong to more neutral ….sadly thats where ANY similarities in our games/ practice end 😂😂…wish i was growing up in this era , meaning was just starting to hack away as a much younger person .. with channels like this one showing what it takes to have a chance at being good ,along with all the quality lesson channels ……well, lets just say beginners todays have a much better chance at figuring out a proper swing and the benefits off a good coach much quicker…

Great info as usual, Hannah. My trouble is, that I seem to leave my best shots on the range. Also, I find that practice putting greens are never the same as actual greens. No consistency. Still, my handicap is slowly improving....... 0.1 at a time.....

I have a weak left hand - which for irons I like a fade so is fine..but driver means the bad is terrible… so I bought the grip that has the hand placement molded in and work on the feeling of the left hand being stronger (neutral) so when I have driver I know how it should feel.

Hannah, I may have missed it. What is that app that you're using to evaluate the pitching? Does it work with other launch monitors besides TrackMan? Not going to mention any Garmin names.

Same here about not finding a repeatable dependable swing …. ,only im not an everyday ,week, month etc player …so even though i hit like 3x’s (more or less) as many practice balls than in a round… i still only somewhat find” it “on the mats and am lucky if every other shot during a round reflects my practice … 🤷🏼‍♂️ never had a lesson and sadly it took me 30+ years to admit i definitely need them…. at this point (older, age related nagging minor injuries and decades of bad practices to overcome ) i worry (or know) my practice time isnt always helping without the lesson(s) i keep putting off 🤷🏼‍♂️✌️👍🏼

I really enjoy you videos, but I must say. I don't agree that you have to book into a plush golf resort. to show how to practice like a +2 handicapper. I'm sure that a simple driving range would of been ok.

@jiml9062 I can picture exactly what you look and sound like! Every golf club has several members just like you. Moan, moan, moan complain. You play the cheapest ball you can find in the shop, your clubs are at least 15 years old, you use a bullseye putter and you give yourself a few mulligans every round! Really pleased you’ve unsubscribed, do everyone a favour and take up another sport! 👋👋👋👋
