The Heaviest Podcast of All Time
As someone from Poughkeepsie, The Chance isn't actually closed, it's already got another owner.
Just found your channel with the Juan Brujo interview. I’ll be watching/listening to your videos while I work. Thanks for keeping me entertained a portion out of my work day 🤘
We loved playing with Escuela Grind in Tampa last year! They bring good and fresh energy on their set and that impact is appreciated. Was too stoned lying on the floor but the trip was insanely good during that set.
ty for commenting I will definitely be checking out your band too
He's hitting all my g-spots twice a week😩 thanks chris 💅🏽
Great band. The riffs & tone are unmatched rn. Going to be a big year EG!
Hopefully you can get Kyle from Vitriol onto the show at some point soon
I toured with Ryan when I was filling in for Internal Bleeding, he plays bass for them as well. He's a good dude and I'm glad he hooked up with Escuela Grind and is doing more touring
Dude I fucking love internal bleeding. That’s sick
Get BODYBOX on!!!
2:30am upload, was not expecting this 😂
Just saw them in Fresno CA this past Saturday. Awesome fkn show 🤘🏻
Loved this.
They supposedly just kicked out their guitarist for wanting to use ear plugs. 😂 “you’re messing with the vibe” they said. Cool people for sure. 🤘🏻
I thought that was a joke post? Ha. Is it true?
@@Themanofthehouse-ww7nn I have no idea. I read somewhere that was the case, if it’s satire and I thought they were serious. 🤷🏼♂️🔥
@@andrewshideler5037 It would be a pretty weird thing to make up. I'm guessing it's true. Pretty dumb thing to get kicked out of a band.
@@andrewshideler5037 I just saw them tonight and he wasn't there. Guess it's true!
Shit is ridiculous. I wonder if it's because he was making them listen to Mushroomhead or something.@@Themanofthehouse-ww7nn
Awesome job , Chris
I knew Ben from Albany, he booked my band a few times. It was a huge loss when he got killed. He was a class act for sure. Shouts to the Escuela crew and the Garza crew 🖤
Stoked to wake up and see this today! Escuela Grind rules. Stoked for the show on the 3rd.
Garza Podcast all day! 💪🔥❤️🙏🇵🇷🇵🇷
I love this band. Absolutely awesome live and incredibly sweet in real life. My gf is a huge fan as well so it's like "our" band
Turns out they’re scumbags
I love them so much. I saw them in St. Louis when it was me my wife and the opening band there to watch. They were amazing then and now.
I watched it twice I am such a big fan!!
Binged their Discography before listening to the rest of the Interview. Definitely became a new fan.
I remember seeing these guys live in ithaca a couple times when I was really young it was fs my gateway band into grindcore
Thanks Garza for inviting the band. They are super cool excellent band from the East Coast!
The bass player from Internal Bleeding!?!?
I appreciate how you keep us all in the loop for new badass bands
Escuelagrind changed my view about music 🎭 💀🖤
518 and north east in general back in the day experienced so much amazing music. Tons of actually great bands. So many legendary venues gone. Any new ones opened i may not know about? Hope there really is a resurgence like said in the podcast.
Gots to get Escuela over to Aus asap
been stoked for this one! escuela grind is the bees knees
just started the video and realizing the length of the video is going to be 3x an Escuela-set, this is going to be good!
I just saw these guys a few days ago in Fresno. They fucking killed it!!
katerina ♥♥♥
she's stupid hott !
DUDE IT WAS CHRIS THE CAMERA GUY ON CAMERA AT THE GARZA PODCAST!!!! That ruled
💪🏽😃
this band has a special place in my heart, first band that I ever saw live, they killed it
🤘🏽🔥🔥
Love the podcast dude some of the Heaviest shit around lol was sick meeting you and getting to talk for a minute at the Midnight Hour dec 15th with Snuffed On Sight and See you space cowboy, Your a huge inspiration in my Guitar journey. One day in the near future Our band will be on the Pod and we can Chop it up moree.🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
These guys music is sick.
*suck
hell yeah second guitarist!
great!
Yes! I know that the stories I saw on Instagram predicted this
Shout out Tom and Ryan fuck everyone else in this band lol
So much love to Escuela Grind!! And shout-out Bonginator, what a great combination of bands.
That Van that got smashed and grabbed was my old bands van Escuela was renting our van
I almost spit out my coffee when she said there's no scene in MA.... Ya ok honey. One of the best in the country for decades.
She said West Mass, which to be fair didn't have a very big scene. Hardcore hubs were Boston/Brockton which are way further east and Hartford which is south. Pittsfield to Boston is a 2~ hour drive, and not sure how old she is but I could see it being pretty easy not being able to go to shows in the early 2000s (no internet / easy way to discover local stuff outside your scene etc)
@@adg21092 I believe she is in her 30's. This band has always acted like MA is Kentucky or something with nothing going on. Western Mass has a fine scene and just down the road is a legendary Boston scene. Worcester area has a lot of shows too. It's not like Dallas is some crazy hot spot for hardcore bands to move there for.
@@mnight6938 You realize it takes almost 3 hours to go from one side of Mass to the other correct? It makes sense as a 15 year old kid if she grew up in Western Mass she just can't drive to Boston twice a week for shows lol. The scene in Western Mass sucked, since she said Albany was the closest "city" to her, she wasn't in Springfield because Hartford is just down the road. I can pretty much assure you 95% of the hardcore/metalcore etc bands in the early 2000s were all in Boston / Worcester / Brockton area
@@adg21092 I went to tons of shows in the early 2000's in western/Springfield area (I lived in Framingham) when I was 16-18. Remember Fat Cats? That place ruled. When did Cabot st open in Chicopee? Either way, it was a lame thing for her to say. IMO.
But ya, I definitely miss those Brockton shows. Tigers Den every weekend was amazing.
Didn't these guys just play in Eugene, yesterday? Now they are doing interviews.🤘
🤘😈
🎸
I didnt realize how much Jessie does for the band. What an absolute unit
Helped by his Freemason trust fund
How much his Freemason mommy and daddy in law do for the band*
@@do_yohomework LMFAOAOA yeah my comment didnt age well at all now did it
@@pvrecarnage6661 at least u aren’t still trynna defend them like some other ppl under this video lol
@@pvrecarnage6661most local grind bands around the country were calling them out for their bullshit like 3 years ago. Also there’s nothing grind about them other than blast beats here and there.
I think the drummer smoked his last two brain cells long ago.
that's Mary g Juana for ya my guy...it does have its cons...i know...i get dumber by age lmao.
ISOPODS!!!
Mushroomhead is dope
Who’s the death metal band they’re talking about in the end?
Seems like Nile when Suicide Silence toured with them, The Faceless, Warbringer and Unexpect in 08
They played an off date without Nile in Albuquerque at The Compound and it was my first time seeing Suicide Silence. After the show Mitch was hanging out wearing his blue hoodie and my friend and I went to talk to him and told him what a killer show that was. Dude was like, “Really?” and was totally surprised. We blazed it and he mentioned they were going on tour with Slipknot in the summer for Mayhem and told us to hush hush about it because it wasn’t announced. Dude was super humble and chill. R.I.P. Mitch 🖤
I got bipped while at work at the animal hospital. Dude took my wallet from inside the center console. Someone found it, about a mile away, on the side of the road three days later with everything still in it minus the $50 cash. Shout out to that dude.
lol at all the stuff that is finally coming out about this band.
Got to see them open up for EYEHATEGOD @ the Westside Bowl in Youngstown. Fxckin ripped! Got to blvze up with them after the show. I said you guys are like Napalm, Morbid and the ferocity of Converge and they’re like Kurt produced our record! Dope ass people
FUCK YES.
FUCK YEAH GARZA!
Didn’t make it to nine lives, but this made up for it.. grind on, escuelaGRIND! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
These camera shots are hurtin me. Great pod though.
Can confirm. Another sick band
funny how we're able to discover new bands on all platforms. back when social media wasn't big I discovered suicide silence from music videos on MTV, word of mouth from others having their CD
NOW
I saw a mosh clip in a warehouse of a show on IG.. saw a chick figured she was a fan. Little that i knew.... she was the vocalist of this sick band... dug in more.... heard more...they grew on me! hot singer with a heavy group.
on another note.... I would've never known the other guitarist was TRANS... did kind of click with the talking and then said was a smoker but then backed it up with the identiy..... crazy that flew passed me.
Such a fun band, go see 'em and get sweaty
surprised no one brought up the fact that Integrity 2000 was written/recorded by the Felton brothers of Mushroomhead.
Also Western MA AND upstate NY has always had a strong HC scene, not sure why Katerina had to move to Texas out of feeling like there wasn't a scene for her to take part in. I assume because of the machismo FSU dudes.
Ya, very weird she said there is no scene in western MA.
She’s a trust fund kid who moved to be closer to the obvious “big” scenes, she’s never explored her own scene cause she’s not from it
@@meta9440 Just weird, she could have just moved an hour east to be closer to Boston area. That's a pretty obvious big one. First I've heard of anyone moving to Dallas for the "scene" .
@@meta9440 oh, I missed the trust fund part. I get what you are saying.
@@Themanofthehouse-ww7nn drummer has a history of scamming other bands, they booked a big powerviolence/grindcore fest promising they would pay for the spots and their flights, only to end up paying just the big bands so they could network. It’s apparently an open secret that they’re not liked by other grind bands. There’s other stuff that’s been coming out about them like the driver having to leave cause they would force him to sleep in the driver’s seat(y’know, the guy who makes sure they get to and from venues safely?) now they’ve dropped their guitarist because he raised concerns about hearing damage
Been clout chasing and changing the sound to fit what’s popular. So sick that y’all can’t see how garbage this band is
Yeah this band was notorious for booking PV/Grind festivals and not paying bands
@@samsamson3735u tried to get the truth out there when everybody was out for blood for daring to criticize these ppl. Good for u man
RIP The Chance bro
The growth is gnarly.. but i don't remember there being a 5th member. Is that a new band member??
the second guitarist was their bassist, he just switched and they added the Isopod dude.
Desoectomy next !
only watching for ryan
lol. No scene in western Ma? Ok……she is out of her mind.
They must come to Mexico City we have a lot of festivals ___
never ash in a Tibetan singing bowl - eternal disrespect!
If that was at Big Rob's I'm going to be fucking pissed. Big Rob's fucking sucks.
Band rules, and Katerina is a total badass. I’ve never seen someone say “fuck it,” and continue to perform on tour with an injury even half as serious.
"Meat Magnet" is one of the sickest songs I've heard in awhile. Super heavy, lots of groove, plus Barney from Napalm Death, it absolutely slams.
Mushrooms are gross!
Gotta get cannibal on here or aborted to be here
Is hard core band is not Grind core
arent these the snowflakes that got mad about a security guard accidentally misgendering someone in the abnd
Can anyone explain to me why Escuela has he getting so hated on recently?
Take a wild guess!
They have a female vocalist, a trans guitarist and there's still way too many bigots in our scene.
They are outspoken about their support of the LGBTQ+ community whilst having two members that are apart of said community
@@charlespeter5610 it wasn’t just for being outspoken can someone who isn’t biased toward their favorite band give me more details
@@do_yohomework it literally is lol. What else do you think it is from? People are bigoted.
these people are so low IQ they can barely talk and it got worse with weed
