Once puddin got rid of the old model A it lost its someday modelA meaning after all when you get a good running modelA it's a shame to see them pulled down. But that's just my thoughts on it

The boomerang antenna was for TV signals. In a ride that cool back in the day they had a 14lb cell phone too. There would have been a Sony TV mounted somewhere in side, w a built in VHS player. That was the cowboss truck.

Man O Man! It's remarkable the change in old theo's coat since ya'll adopted him. I knew all dogs go to heaven but ol Theo gets to have the free preview of doggy heaven. He is one blessed pooch.
The best thing that ever happened to that good boy was Hotrod praying for a dog. Think he’s not a lazy dog he’s just plumb tuckered out from searching for his forever home. He’s just catching his breath for a minute, and you couldn’t have asked for a better temperament from a dog than Theo’s. He’s more than content to have Hotrod loving on him, and he definitely knows who the pack leader is he hangs out in the shop with him everyday.
Was dying on the park it mark it. If wifey is happy then you know what you gotta do. Incorporate her in the build a touch. That way you won’t get yelled at for her ideas!!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Absolutely glad your keeping it, brother and I grew up in those trucks . Still have the one our father purchased from Dealership here in AK from our grandfather who was a salesman there in 1975. If I was building that truck I’d totally go with TMI products for the interior. They make complete interiors for square bodies even door panels and their stuff is awesome. Of course you have Top Stitch Taylor so that may not be necessary for you but a super nice interior and just clean up the outside the way it is would be the way to go. Well bagged and some sick wheels too. 🤷♂️ 🙃
Puddin i think buddy with all the comments on this truck it seems most people would like to see you completely go through the rig and get it back on the road. Heck maybe even do a full restoration on it like the wagon and make it look sharp. That, in turn, would give you a long project to do. I know that anyone who matters in this most likely won't read this & even if they do, my opinion won't matter but... I'ma put it out there anyway.... I definitely would love to see you keep this one & do exactly what you mention with it & more! I've always wanted to have an older doo-lee and drop it (or at least get it closer to the ground) and just have something big and cool to cruise around in so, I'd love to be able to live that dream through a build on this rig. I was a lineman and did a lot of work on power lines but, for the past 20 years now, I've been on dialysis with no chance of a kidney transplant. I now live alone since losing my wife of 25 years to COVID in Feb of 2021 and then my youngest baby girl moved out when she turned 18 in April. I only have my Social Security payment to rely on each month so having something like this of my own is certainly only a dream so I'll hopefully get the opportunity to live it out through your channel and hard work. I still remember when those conversion rigs were new, and I thought to myself, they took a perfectly good brand new pickup and ruined it LOL... That said, the front seats that looked like they were made from wore out sofas were usually pretty damn comfy. I've always liked my rigs a little more on the simple side of life, but that's just me. That particular rig looks like someone got their first J.C Whitney catalog and their first credit card, and went nuts... On a different note, ol' Theo makes me smile every time I see him. It cracked me up when you put his dinosaur next to him, and he got all cuddled up with it. He's a good boy, and he couldn't have found a better home...

Someone coulda used a powerwasher on that motor to blow the rat city outta it. Hence, moisture. Water over air....and both methods beats hands on removal. Aint no mold or mildew on that rig, so........

You should build a barn style door to block off the small shop. Put it on rollers to push it open and stick a man door in it. Be easy peasy and keep the a/c in the shop!
Good show puddin, I'll tell you a trick on lining oil pump up just put your distributor in toward #1 and bump motor over while putting light pressure on distributor and it will drop in when it comes around.
Make sure your dog is taught how to get out of the swimming pool if he falls in. I taught my dogs how to do this, as a relative had their dog die by drowning.

Looks mint! I've been noticing a lot of these OBS square body GM 3+3 crew cabs on Marketplace lately. I like the new rigs too, except the price 😂. But yes, a real American built steel body crew cab would be an awesome piece of reliable history to drive the highways and carry a slide-in camper to the lake for a night of fun. Not to mention the obvious savings gained from cheaper insurance and yearly taxes/plate fees. Again, excellent truck!!👍

There was a TV between the front seats that's why there is a boomerang on it. I use to do conversions on them.

Good show puddin, I'll tell you a trick on lining oil pump up just put your distributor in toward #1 and bump motor over while putting light pressure on distributor and it will drop in when it comes around.

Looks mint! I've been noticing a lot of these OBS square body GM 3+3 crew cabs on Marketplace lately. I like the new rigs too, except the price 😂. But yes, a real American built steel body crew cab would be an awesome piece of reliable history to drive the highways and carry a slide-in camper to the lake for a night of fun. Not to mention the obvious savings gained from cheaper insurance and yearly taxes/plate fees.
