- Hey guys! We hope you enjoy our reaction to Fool In The Rain! Jimmy Page and John Bonham were CRAZY in this song! Mia and I were so surprised at their different approach in this song! They all had their small parts and took over! The repeated melody was so beautiful combined with Robert Plant's voice! And John Paul Jones was epic with the floor bass and keyboard! Comment down below if you were lucky enough to go see them Live! And as always, stay safe and stay tuned for upcoming videos! We love you guys!

That's exactly how I felt back in 1979 hearing this song at 18 years old !!......I am old school so Zeppelin rules.......but once again you girls do this song JUSTICE !!.......keep being yourselves......the best out there by far.
listen to and concentrate on the drums and realize this is ONE guy!! Multiple beats, different time signatures, all while doing different things with the bass drum, high hats and tons and snare. One of the most complex and virtuoso performances of all time.
Man, I don't have any kids but I could pick two perfect kids off a shelf, it would be you guys!!😀😀 fun fact, when I bought the album way back in 1980, the record came in a plain brown paper bag tied up with string, seriously!!
Led Zeppelin is one of the very few bands who didn't release an average album. They are all solid releases right up to the end. An amazing band.
R.I.P. to the greatest drummer in history, John Bonzo Bonham.
Great song and reaction
Thank you Anthony!
Love Mia’s air drums. Great song.🎸
I saw Led Zeppelin in 77 at the Forum
It was a great concert.
Let's get to it! Yea!
Yee!
This was like the first rock song to use a whistle in it!! ... perfection
This was Bonzo’s version of the “Purdy Shuffle”, one of the most recognizable and imitated rhythms on drums. It’s a real “swing” beat.
too much "air - reverb" on this version of shuffle ....and too big a sound ...not intimate enough for me....and robert plant sounds flat too often for me ....still , a wonderful song
@@TheMichaelseymour I like the "bass+" accompanying the shuffle, which is innovative. There are also several time signatures here.
It's more accurately described as a half-time shuffle
@@johnforde7735 yeh...to my ears plant sounds almost out of tune at times ....it grates on my ears..but i still love it
@@TheMichaelseymour I think it's just some of the longer notes at the end of line (like " I feel blue") that are written like that. They hit the note, and the go up and down by a semi-tone.
Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and vocalist Robert Plant were inspired by samba beats that played during the 1978 FIFA World Cup tournament in Argentina. Biographer Dave Lewis commented:
"Thus the idea emerged to layer on their own samba halfway through the hop-skip riff arrangement. Crazed as it sounds, it works beautifully right through John Paul Jones' street whistles to drummer John Bonham's delightfully constructed timpani crashes."
IMHO _In Through The Out Door_ is an underrated album. Enjoy.
Thank you my lovely girls for the surprise! This video reaction made my weekend. Mia, thank you for the shoutout at the very end of the video! That was awesome. The song was inspired by the sounds of carnival. Robert Plant and John Paul Jones were the ones who came up with the melody. It is John Bonham's late brother, Michael, blowing the whistle before John's outstanding drumming. I just love everything about this song. It puts me in a good mood when I am working away each day. I power walk listening to this as well. Zeppelin were changing their sound up a bit near the end of the 70's. This is certainly a different sound for them. From the looks on your faces, I think you approve of this one. Thank you to your amazing dad, for finally having the time to have the two of you react to this one. Glad you both loved it. Love and Blessings.
Hey Suzy! I'm glad you enjoyed our reaction to Fool in the Rain, I was very happy to be able to react to Fool in the Rain going as YOU recommended it. I am more than grateful to have you apart of our UA-cam Family! You never fail to give AWESOME recommendations! It was my pleasure to give you a shoutout at the end because you DESERVED IT!! Our UA-cam Family always gives amazing songs for us to react to and you are a perfect example to my point 😎 -Mia
@@danasfaith5738 awww, thanks Mia! I love you & Juliet too. I was surprised by the shoutout but was so thrilled, when I heard my name. Thank you very much for that. I hope you and Juliet add the song to your playlist. I play it all the time, as it lifts me up and puts me in good spirits. It is the melody that does it for me, especially Bonham's unique sound, which he does rock on the song. I saw nothing but smiles during the entire song, so I am guessing this one gets a thumbs up? Love the fact you and Juliet are singing more in your reaction videos. KEEP IT UP! You both do such a great job. Thank you always for your kind words. You know I hold them close to my heart! Love & Blessings! 💖😘
Zeppelin ended in 1980 just as I was getting into hard rock music but I've loved them ever since. Saw Page & Plant live in 1995 in the UK where they played loads of Zeppelin stuff so it felt like seeing them though of course Bonham & Jones were missing. Thanks again girls for singing 'Happy Birthday' to me on your recent live stream. It made my day x
You are very welcome Michael! We hope that you had an awesome birthday celebration! : )
1980 was a very sad year. Zeppelin was getting ready for a US tour, and the tickets for the show in my town went on sale September 25th, and I was going to buy tickets that afternoon. I don't think I have to tell you about the news that came out that same day.
GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER!!!!!!!
Those youngsters have good musical taste. So cool.
Awe! Thank you David!
They surely have!
Watched you 2 when you first started. The little one has come to life listening to these classic hits. Behold , the power of music!
Congratulations dad ! This is how you teach your kids !
Love love love this song, as well as everything by Zeppelin!!
And I loved Mia's John Bonham impersonation while jamming to the song! You ladies rock!
You girls rock! Love! Love! Love Led Zeppelin! John Bonham's drumming is insane! Have y'all done Rock n Roll yet?
One of my favorite songs of all time. Back in the nineties my restaurant manager said this is one of the most perfect songs ever written. I agree. So full of feeling, so fun. Can't say enough about this. Yes, the drums.
The cutest metal-themed channel on UA-cam confirmed. Whenever I need a cuteness overload, this is where I come :')
That samba middle part always slays me.
NICE SHIRTS!!!!!
Love how into this Mia is - it's also one of my favourite Led Zeppelin tracks. You two are the queens of the reaction video. Keep going - you're making the world a better place.
Watching you listening for the first time to a song(s) I've heard 100s/1000s of times reminds me of when I first discovered it/them and the emotions reemerge
*BLESS YOU LADIES!!!* 🙏
Zeppelin is perfect. "DAZED AND CONFUSED" break my mind.
It's an underrated Led Zeppelin song and you two are just so awesome and fresh and original. You bring happiness to the world, by being happy as you listen to this music.
I love the Zeppelin shirts🔥
Your smiles say it all.......You're in love with Led Zeppelin !!
You two are just plain fun to watch!! Glad to see you react to Zeppelin again. They’re my favorite band ever and it’s too cool to see you loving it!
So nice to see you girls lost in the Zeppelin calypso groove. They weren't afraid of anything.
Except Disco.
You know this is a business for them, right? They don't give two fucks about LZ except to get old people like you to subscribe and click 'like' and maybe even join their patreon.
@@tallykev6608 And to leave comments, just like you did, grandpa! LOLOL
@@Cosmo-Kramer Yep, occasionally.
@@tallykev6608 I think you're way off base here, though. Sure, they've set up a Patreon, so it is a business of sorts. But you act like the service they're providing is something they don't enjoy doing. They're filming themselves reacting to awesome rock 'n roll music classics they've never heard before and posting it on the internet for all their friends to see--tell me exactly what part of that is a chore for a teenaged girl. lol To say "they don't give two fucks about LZ" is just an asinine comment. Yes, there are a few phony reactors out there, but they're super easy to spot, and don't last long. These sisters are legitimately digging what they're doing, it's written all over their faces.
Great job. I love 2 see young people reacting to good music.
Shortly after this album was released the drummer John Bonam passed away I had finally got tickets to see them unfortunately I never got to see them a very sad time for rockin Roll
: (
@@danasfaith5738 I love that you girls are getting int Zeppelin. You should check out their song 10 years gone one of my favorites of there songs
Another great reaction Ladies ! This has always been one of my favourite Led Zep tracks. It demonstrates their
incredible ability to amalgamate SO many diverse musical influences. This was recorded in Stockholm, at the
studios owned by ABBA. Bjorn and Benny were both huge admirers of LZ, and personally invited them to Sweden
to record In Through the Out Door. Robert Plant said it was the best recording studio he`d ever seen, or used.
It’s such a cool song.
He’s standing on a corner in the rain waiting for his girl and she doesn’t show up because he’s on the wrong block.
Obviously written way before cell phones.
LOL!
A great song from the album In through the out door! A perfect song to showcase the drumming of John Bonzo Bonham! 🔥😊
Yes Robert Plant did make the song, wildest album was being created Robert Plant and John Paul Jones was in the Studio's pre-recording the singing in The Voice lyrics the bass and piano lines.
Jimmy Page and John Bonham we're on the other side of England and hanging out on vacation later page and Bonham came to the studio they're part of the album. Fool in the Rain is hands-down my favorite John Bonham beat, a lot is going on with him on the drums. First of all the solo has a touch of Latin in it. Also there are two different kinds of Beats going on throughout the whole song this is called a polyrhythmic Beat. On top of that John Bonham ads in these low sound notes on his snare just to spice up the Rhythm you can barely hear them unless you are specifically listening for it. These kinds of drum notes that are barely hearable are called Ghost Notes. Good reaction ladies, please do a reaction of Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven from Earls Court 1973 it is purely a different guitar solo that you will definitely enjoy and discover how Led Zeppelin never did the same exact concert twice it was always different
Girls you have to listen heartbreak from them! Audio version, and great reaction! ♡
Thank you Luana!
Love the L.Z. T-shirts....the boys would be proud of you for wearing them! The GOATS! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
For young people who didn't grow up with this music, you both certainly have a good ear. Bonzo pretty much kills it with the groove.
You young ladies have good taste.
4:41... to me... Led Zeppelin went into a Passionate Latina Vibe... and Mia was "feeling it"....
Good on Ya.... Best Song in a Long Time... IMHO.......
Led Zeppelin simply were 4 of the Best Musicians in The World... throw In some Great Material...
and We get to Groove for a Long Lifetimes to come!!!!!!!
It’s amazing how hearing these songs I’ve know since they were released I’m hearing anew through these girl’s eyes? Ears?
I mean, there’s a musical integrity and interest to these songs I’ve grown deaf to.
Thanks, girls, glad to hear and see what joy music brings to you. Have a good summer!
I was 17 or 18 when this song came out. By the time I was old enough to go to concerts they hadn't been to Texas for 4 or 5 years and this album has a song on it where Plant sings, "...and I'll never go to Texas anymore." :'-(
Such a joy to watch y'all react to this spectacular song and especially Bonham's drumming. The looks on both of your faces in the middle quicker tempo and Bonham's masterful slow down brought a tear to my eye and makes me happy to be alive. Keep up the good work!
All of my love, over the hills and far away, babe I'm gonna leave you, check these Zeppelin songs as well. They are all just timeless and will never be topped
Here we go with OUR favorite band of all time....🤔😄🇮🇹❤✌ they can do everything type of music genre but they are always the best 😉
Great reaction. This was common before 1995 when cell phones were not common. Did it many times. Not dates but missing friends. Then you had to call their home from a pay booth lol good times.
more zeppelin-ramble on.communication breakdown, black dog.rock and roo,.whole lot of love and there reggae song dyermaker-then after that we have 150 more
Love your enthusiasm, love Led Zeppelin, I'm subscribing!
WooHoo!!!! *LOVE THE ZEP!!!!*
This one is definitely one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs!👌😎👍👉❤️great drumming on this one by Bohnam!
U two girls are fun well done 👏 nice to see the young people realize the greatness of zeppelin never again will a group ever come close to zeppelin the music today is awful if you can even call it 🎶
tea for one, carouselambra, i'm gonna crawl, 10 years gone, in the light, dancing days, down by the seaside will blow your mind
I love how into it you got, in your own ways. And I loved when Mia went into what looked like salsa dancing - when the song sped up. You both appreciated it fully. This song takes me right back to college in my mind as that’s when it came out. Great song that shows the diversity of Led Zeppelin.
Thank you Michael! Led Zeppelin is amazing!
Good point! "Diversity" of (all of those invertors of hard rock) is not showing up anymore: a shame on today's radio stations!
The band finds a latin groove on the two interludes and Mia always finds the groove. Can't recall any other Zep songs that venture into the latin music arena, but my memory is pretty worthless these days so they probably have.
All quality all the time. That's all you need to keep growing. 😆
Y'all are killing it.
Thank you Daniel!
YEE GIRLS. I can't stand this song they played this thing every 10 minutes for 10 years. But you girls are incredible you made me enjoyed just with your energy and enthusiasm and just plain Joy thanks girls
This is a great cruising song, I love cruising around 70 or 80 MPH with this song cranked up!! I love the guitar solo by Jimmy Page.
Its a beautiful "summer" song. Yes, love the perfectly executed fuzzy solo.
I saw LED ZEPPELIN LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO AT KEZAR STADIUM. Back when I was heavy rock and roller I have seen so many great bands. In my humble opinion, LED ZEPPELIN is the greatest HARD ROCK AND ROLL band ever.
Hey girls love the reactions, keep 'em coming
You two are a breath of fresh air! I just hit the subscribe button simply because of your enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyable take on one of my favorite songs ever. Nice job! 👏👍
girl was actually waiting for him in rain , because her love was so deep for him = his error was that he was on the wrong block ( he foolishly thinks he was stood up )
I think this is a perfect example of Led Zeppelin at their musical peek. If you can, listen to this song with headphones and pay attention just to the drums. Then play it again and listen just to the base. It’s hard not to hear Jimmy pages guitar of course and it’s impossible not to hear how clear Robert Plant‘s voice is on this particular song but give it a try?
*bass, not base!
Great video girls!
One of my favorites that you both have done.
As you can tell by my name I'm a huge led Zeppelin fan also.
I love this song.
I thought you both sang good in this video and you both had cool shirts on 💜❤️💜
Thank you Jimmy!
Girls your amazing as usual, I grew up listening to Zeppelin in the 70's and I always thought there music was way ahead of there time, Custard pie anyone? Just kidding that's another one of there songs.
They’ve so many great songs to choose from its not funny. As always enjoyed your reaction. You two beautiful young ladies are expanding your music horizon and listening to music you probably would have never listened to ever and it makes me excited to see you hear them for the first time.🤘🤘🎸🎸☮️☮️💕💕
A GREAT DRUM GROOVE!!!🙂😊😁👍🤙🤩💥💥
Great reaction as usual!! Lots of love and keep rocking Mia & Juliet!!!
Thank you Sebastian!
It's not a sad song because he realizes he was the fool in the rain because "I'm just a fool waiting on the wrong block".
That beautiful "shuffle beat" on the drums!
This song is on my "Cruising" list of songs, when I'm cruising in my Chevy S-10 pickup!! I remember when "In Through the Out Door," came out! I was 17 and it rocked my world!!!
Groovy song! Groovy reaction!!
Wow! HAHAH! LOOK AT THE TWO BEAUTIFUL GIRLS REACTION FOOL IN THE RAIN By LED ZEPPELIN. FANTASTIC!
Yes John Bonmune RIP best drummer
I hope whole lotta love next I think you girls will love this song bye girls keep on rocking !
Just don't use the Official Video. For some unknown reason they chopped 44 seconds from the bridge, which ruins the song. Make sure to react to the studio version which is 5 1/2 minutes long.
On second thought, I don't think that song is appropriate for them, especially the 11-year old. It's pretty raunchy with some explicit lyrics and other vocalizations.
One of my favorite Zeppelin songs.
Saludos désde la Ciudad de México. Gran canal el suyo, felicidades.
Excelentes elecciones. Sus comentarios muy acertados y no hay egos entre ustedes. Cuídense mucho.
Gracias Zeferino!
@@danasfaith5738 Nada que agradecer, cuídense mucho.
It's great watching you girls get into Led Zeppelin. I'm twice your age and I just recently became a fan. Fool In The Rain is in my top ten of favorite Zeppelin songs. Some hardcore Zeppelin fans don't like it because it's not the rock or blues they're use to. One of the reasons I like Zeppelin is because they don't make the same song over and over. And to prove how good this song is, my mom is NOT a Zeppelin fan and she loves this song👌
Zep could turn their hand to anything. A little samba? Bring it on ( home)!
John Bonham killed it!!! It's so sad, I think you know his story, Bonham didn't think he was a drummer that compared well to his contemporaries at this point... yet he was soooo very very much the best.
Love that your impressed by both John Bonham's drumming and Jimmy Page's guitar technec Love you guys!!
From their last studio album "In through the out door" which was one of the many great albums they made!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
QUE LINDO TEMA CHICAS COMO SIEMPRE CON USTEDES DESDE ARGENTINA
VIVA ARGENTIINAA ! !
Gracias Lucas!
Watching Y'all react to this song made my day.........Thanks girls !!
Nice to see you react to what I'd probably categorise as a 'lesser known' track from Them. When I saw the name of the track my brain went a bit blank and I thought, "I don't think I know that track .. huh?" Then I heard the first notes and realisation dawned: it's from In Through The Out Door. It's one of those tracks that, I think, you cannot unhear the vocalist: I cannot imagine anyone else singing it, it HAS to be Robert Plant's voice, none other would fit the track.
Loved the way (and now knowing I knew the track, I knew what was coming up ...!) you reacted to how it changed, how the keyboards came to the fore, the style of the music to .... I will show my ignorance here .... a salsa/Latin-feel rhythm?
Can't recall the exact timing but the album was released around the time of their Knebwoth concert which I saw, I think it came out afterward and they played two tracks from it, one of them being In the Evening (the other my memory is hesitant about!) And that track is also very different to a lot of their 'usual stuff', being more mellow in approach, maybe?
Muchas gracias Lobo!
Wear those t shirts with pride ladies. From the same album in 1979, try " In The Evening"!! Excellent reaction , as always. Stay safe and smiling.
Thank you Malc! We love these shirts!
@@danasfaith5738 we all love them!!
I love to see reactions to this song, and your reaction was fabulous! This is one of my favorite John Bonham drum songs. If you didn't notice this song has, throughout most of the song, a 3 over 4 feel. The guitar and bass are playing a quarter note triplet groove while Bonham holds it down with a 4/4 drum groove. Really tough rhythm to hold together. My favorite drum part is just after the calypso breakdown part as it transitions to the guitar solo. What Bonham does there with his fills is pure genius.
Anyway, nice job girls, and keep the great reviews (and Zeppelin tunes) coming!
U Guys Are The BOMB!!!! ROCK ON FOR EVER!!!! Love U GALS!!!!
Awe! Thank you Jon!
@@danasfaith5738 Only Love!!!!
Arguably Led Zeppelin at their peak. Complex , rich, humorous.
Fool waiting on the wrong block. But she didnt leave, waiting also. She was still there when he realized his error
Remember buying this when it came out. SOME people were in shock because it wasn't hard heavy metal. And of course hearing the news about Bonham.
Led Zeppelin was never heavy metal. If that's what people were expecting, they were in for a surprise!
just an FYI....this entire album is incredibly good. all of it.
Led Zep is a class of their own🎉🎉🎉
This is one of the 'simpler' Led Zep tunes...mainly featuring the drums and percussion. Most of the main percussion part is just Bonham, tapping all sorts of things in rapid succession, and then the end of the 'middle part' is just amazing. Listen to 'In My Time Of Dying' and 'Achilles Last Stand' for more Bonham power drumming (if you haven't already...). Love you girls, keep rockin!
"simpler," but one of the most beautiful songs and melodies in rock and overall popular music history.
simple and fun
@@markuse3472 Not saying it's not a great song, just that there are only 2 basic parts, and they're more for the rhythm beat; The whole thing probably started with Bonzo fooling around with that intricate beat, and the rest just filled in. Overall pretty neat, I listen to it often!
@@paulbewlay4527 I know. Regarding the majority of songs out back then, prior, after, and today, it still stands out as Great.
OMG!! From The Album "IN Through The Out Door" !!! Very Solid Song!!!!
Great show! Thank you! If you two like John Bonhams drumming, you should listen to their songs Bonzo's Montreaux and Moby Dick. True art like Led Zeppelin stands the test of time.
Moby Dick live. From The Song Remains the Same. Incredible.
"Groovy' is a perfect way to describe this song!
Would love to see you guys recover from this and go back 10 years from THIS when they performed in Denmark (black and white) doing "How many more times"❗"Dazed and Confused" from the same perf is POWERFUL🦾
I'm about to go watch this myself right now💡
Gals .... ....... Once again you both made this old tune so much fun!!! You guys really bring the FUN with you!!! Nice work!
you guys are too adorable. God bless.
