@BlackFlightNY Actually the Greeks won at Platea. The Persians were beaten so badly that the Greeks chased them all the way back to Persia after that fight.
In history there 2 battles Unitas fought on land his general fought on boats that why Persian can't get on land because spartan were short on boats so they use their boats to crash Persian army boats that one of the reasons spartan won the war.
@@chervang7578 fue Atenas por mar y esparta por tierra, esto fue una acción para ganar tiempo y llevar a todos los griegos hacia el sur, mientras los atenienses y aliados preparaba la flota
Historically, Dilios (the one spartan that survived by his King's Order) has a tragic end while following orders because he was known to be a great storyteller and still his honor was questioned for leaving his King. The counter offensive, spurred by his tale, had Herodotus write that Dilios was the bravest fighter as he leapt from the phalanx in berserker-like fashion to regain his honor (and ultimately dying but not before killing countless in his way).
Greetings from Greece! Efialtis did lived for ever, we use the name in our everyday speech and it has become the word for bad dreams...when we see a nightmare the greek expression is "i've seen an Efialti"...the line is not from this part of the movie but i just wanted to share it!!
I swear, Natalie Gold and her cynicism gets old as hell. "What's up with that double zoom?" She does that kind of thing EVERY video, little denigrating nitpicks like that. She wasn't like that early on and I enjoyed her content, but now I think it's time to unsub.
Yeah, I noticed she’s become a lot more critical of simple filmmaking choices. She’s entitled to her opinions and all, but it does make her reactions less enjoyable. I wonder what changed.
@@iReiGNxxI think the more movies she watches the more observant she has become. It’s like she is subconsciously not just watching movies for “enjoyment” but actually studying them. Which is impressive if you think about it. Noticing little details that filmmakers and movie critics pick out in film production. Normally people just consume movies like candy but she seems to be “subconsciously “ actually learning and seeing the pros and cons in movies and not just getting carried away by emotions. Probably why the masses love this movie but filmmakers look at its production and dialogue and are like “Meh”
This comment is one of the lowest IQ comments I have ever read. You are on the internet telling people to go to the library and read a book? Have you heard of a website called Wikipedia? You attempted to appear smart to people but came off looking like an idiot. Well done.
Really icky how you almost exclusively have only female reactor’s faces in your thumbnails to garner clicks. Do you have their consent to use their stuff at least?
Forget it, I don't understand the principle. he's just a guy who collects reactions from others like a leech. Most of the time it remains static. Useless.
"The enemy outnumber us a paltry 3 to 1. Good odds for any Greek". Love that line.
I think it was also meant to hint at the true story…that they lost again 😂
But there was victory…in defeat 🤣
The Greeks actually the battle of Plateau. It ended the war.
It's up there with:
"Shipmaster, they outnumber us three to one."
"Then it is an even fight!"
@BlackFlightNY Actually the Greeks won at Platea. The Persians were beaten so badly that the Greeks chased them all the way back to Persia after that fight.
Save some for the soldiers in the back!
By Far one of my favorite Speeches in a movie. 300 is a movie everyone must see.
This speech and the one from Independence Day
"We're not gonna see how it ended." Well its the Battle of Plataea, a historical event. You can absolutely look it up.
What happened?

I believe his actual name was Aristodemus. Poor guy was screwed twice.
The Legend still lives on even now, which is why we have the film
I would be disgusted to be in the last line of the army. I'm not even sure the last ones could kill a single Persian warrior
This is my favorite part in the whole movie. Thank you
One of the best battle speeches in film.

Always surprises me how many reactors don't recognise David Wenham as Faramir from lotr. (Dilios) He is always a great watch in his roles.
“Good odds for any Greek” great line 😂
😂😂😂😂 no tan imaginativo los espartanos era los mejores guerreros de Grecia
Turns out…
That living under the Persians wasn’t all bad, they treated their people quite well, and respected other peoples, and their way of living.
Well, the Persians may have won the BATTLE at Thermopylae, but they lost the WAR at the Battle of Plataea.
Persian: We have you surrounded
Spartan: All i'm surrounded by is fear and dead men
It is time for revenge and retribution and this time there are more than the heroic 300.
The queen killing the traitor is my favorite part of the whole movie :)
I love that part.
"You will not enjoy this"
This scene always gets me. To Victory!
This is all actually true the real narrator was called Aristodemus and he did die at Platea also visit Marathon and Thermopylae 😉🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
I wish they would have started the sequel with this battle!
Part 2 . Watch it !
Any one who has been there knows the area is like a amphitheatre your voice carries for miles I trained there usa
I'm ready to run through a wall after watching this one😤😤😤😤😤
We all are.
Waiting on the Braveheart reactions.
Romney/Ryan 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing video.
If Dillios's voice sounds familiar, he is David Wenham ...Faramir from The Lord of the Rings.
Also, he was the narrator for the Deadliest Warrior series.
“Show me your war face!”

I Love The Lord Of The Rings 💍 The Returns Of The King 👑
About time this one got made XD
Más o menos paso así, 😂 😂😂😂😂 los espartanos eran mucho. Mucho peores que estos,
Please do give me one more from hacksaw ridge

Shouldn't it be 299 since this guy lived to tell the tale?
😂 oh ya! Well, the 3-1 is slightly better odds (for any Greek)
“You want some coffee Mr. Tully?”
It turns humorous once you realize how the REAL battle went: THEY LOST…AGAIN!!!
(A LARGER Greek army came to back them up, and THEN Xerxes withdrew)😂
The Persians still won lol
