Crazy Russian Dad should be much more famous than he is.
Tortoise010 give it time he will be more famous than pewdiepie
I so agree with you! He's super smart and funny!
i'm sure he will be some day. hell i only found him last week, been watching him tons
Totally agree! Such a gem! He needs to run for US president:))) just for quality media exposure
But he is. There are thousands of middle-aged female groupies that follow his content.
This guy is so polite and not judgemental talking about this, love it.
This man. This. MAN! Why is he not more famous. This man is amazing!
He’s right. The instructor was nuts.
you must always stand for a lady, or hold the door, it is the right thing to do in the US. The person that told you not to is crazy!
Willard Music man the USA allows its lunatics into wider society and we Americans take the insane seriously to our detriment
Willard Music man, I completely agree with you, Sir! You're one of the few Gentlemen who pracrices chivallry. Thank you, Sir. I'm a 65 year old babushka and very much appreciate when a man holds doors open for me. They're usually, Black, Hassidic Jewish, Haitian, Latino men. Not too many beige colored( caucasian) men if that's what they think they are! And I happen to be Beige colored myself. Maybe, deep down they don't like themselves being beige colored. I don't understand people anymore. 🙏🏼✌🤝👍❤
Americans have let the standards slip...personally, I like a gentleman. Like everything else in the American life, some people take things to the extreme like your instructor. I (and I'm an American female) don't mind it if a man, holds open the door for me, offers to help with heavy packages, etc. There is a point where it can go to far, and every woman has her own definition where that line is drawn. A simple way to find out, if something is out of line...is simply to ask.
I'm an American man and I date a Russian woman because being a gentleman is appreciated and rewarded as with all of the American women it's taken advantage of and underappreciated. My russian girlfriend lets me be a man and respects me for it . American girls are spoiled drama queens and men need to stop encouraging their behavior and kissing their asses.
@@mrnobody339 Congratulations for the most bitter passive aggressive comment of the year. Learn to take constructive criticism. It will all be okay.
I noticed here in Moscow, Russian women sacrifice comfort for physical looks. They wear mini skirt even when it is freezing cold, wear high heels.. obviously they are not comfortable, but still they look good :)
This video was so interesting!! There’s nothing offensive about this at all, and I learned so much. Thank you!
American woman and you definitely didn’t offend me lol. Try to ignore the crazies who see ulterior motives everywhere, it’s usually projection because they aren’t very nice people themselves.
I’m seeing a man from India and he won’t let me lift a finger lol. I let him know constantly how appreciative I am 😉
To open the door or give up your seat for someone - it's called manners! I'm so tired feminism this and harassment that...
Exactly
I miss opened doors for sure! Cool video )) Thanks
“I don’t mean like, spies”
You are awesome, your video made my day even my American husband watching you and find it very funny. Keep it up Crazy Russian dad
do russian cops vs american cops
I love this guy, honest and to the point.
I love this channel!
At first I thought you were faking a heavy Russian accent. But then I realize that it IS your accent. And it is very cute. Keep up the good work. Your videos are excellent!
With his English proficiency he must be exaggerating it.
Can be seems with the KH sounds.. but that other ushanka show guys accent is screwed too and hes been in the US for 30 years @@MissAlyonushkA
I love this. You're content is great. I'm new but hell, best of health to you!
I am a Canadian, and I was taught by my parents to be a gentleman. I was also taught to open doors for women, to give my seat to a woman. Not also for women, but also for older people. It is called respect. What is going on today is disgusting.
Noooothing has changed around here. Russia is still the same.
interesting...
O que eu menos esperava era ver você comentando aqui Oo
@@CrazyRussianDad that advertisement about a job you're talking about in this video, it's probably some boss looking for a personal assistant with some intimacy included for a pretty high salary. That's a common practice in Russia
In a way that is almost comforting to know.
Office manager is often the face of the company that is why they are looking for attractive woman. If you are fat and ugly you still can find job in state services. 😂 Like i don't know working with passports, driver licenses and so on. And you can be sure that nobody will say you some bad words, will insult you. Because everyone will be scared by your appearance. 😂🤣 There is nothing unusual
Thanks!👍
Ata anak!!! Great content. Just discovered your channel!
I appreciate you sharing the cultural differences. I find it very entertaining.
Thank you friend
CRD, you clearly know how to speak English very well! I wish I knew what you sound like when you’re not purposely using this heavy Russian accent.
Hello, How are you? Ha ha..... I discovered you for the first time today and I LOVE IT.
I think that you did nothing wrong holding a door for a lady or asking if she needs help with her bags. I like a gentleman as well. Russians have more conservative values it seems and I prefer that and of course I’m a woman. There is a reason men are not so manly these days in north America there are some but not as many. I am a stay at home mom and I gave up getting on with a career in the miliatray to stay at home with my kids. I’m glad I did, sure it’s not easy but I wouldn’t trade it.
Crazy Russian Dad, I wish you were my neighbor man, you'd rock to have in the community.
Not mad at all 😊
We appreciate your perspective
Thanks russian Dad
I have watched a few of these videos. They are very good and very funny, but i started thinking about something entirely different after a few videos. What are the people in the other cars thinking when they look over in a traffic jam and there in the next car is a crazy dad (hard to know he's russian) speaking and gesturing at his dashcam. Now back to the video.
CRD is awesome. He stands for all that s true, sexie, and desirable in a post-Soviet male.
You're amazing
this is the channel ive been looking for. Not Life of Boris, Aloona Larionova, NFKRZ. THIS is the channel. THIS 😄😁
Welcome!! So glad you have arrived
All true! Approved.
One point I learned back in the Gorbachev days, a Russian college student mentioned how her Russian mother was annoyed at Americans "beating around the bush" because they were afraid to offend someone. She wanted people to just blurt out what was on their minds, rather than hem and haw for a few minutes before they can think of a diplomatic way of approaching the topic,.
Everything you said is right on and I agree completely. I am a female and honestly, I believe a man should always help out a woman, especially if she is carrying something heavy or open the door for her, etc. It's insane to think and to teach men in this country that it's sexual harassment?! Craziness. It even bothers me when a woman is pushing the cart in the store full of groceries while the man or her son is just walking next to her. Once I saw a mother and her son was pushing the cart and I was so happy to see her teaching her son the right way to be a man! And the dress thing, yes, it's totally different. Even younger Russian girls dress in a feminine way here in America where I live. I put on a skirt and a nice shirt even when going grocery shopping. It's just the norm for Russians. Some Americans go to church dressed like they are going to the grocery store. So strange to me.
Agree, its not sexual harassment, but i don't have to help any woman just cuz she is female
Being polite is not sexual harassment. The instructor teaching you was a crazy bitter feminist who probably lives with a hundred cats because no man will have her.
про поход в магазин гиперболизировано) никогда не видела, чтобы при появлении женщины в комнате вставали + дверь придерживают всем, не взирая на возраст / пол
From the channels I watch of people overseas, you can easily spot American from other Europeans including Russians because they wear the comfortable clothing while walking around the city.
As a queer, very liberal Russian-American, I am continuously impressed by how progressive you show yourself to be in these videos, and how intelligently you discuss these topics. On the one hand, my expectations re: progressivism for others from the Soviet Union are kind of low; on the other hand, though, my standards in general are quite high (as is often true of others from my generation), and I respect your views more than I do those of many "liberal" Americans that I've met. Thanks for that, it's super cool to see!
To good to be true
And it still is,
Adorable

ну это дело такое... мороз-воевода, он, тоже не очень-то нынче свирепствует - global warming таки
but I'm already in my pajamas.. :D
You are too funny. Those what you said about the current US society are about correct. Political correctness have taken over, sadly.
hmmm
Hello
Looks like I need to move to Russia.
The idea was that if you're a man, you must go out of your way to be polite and kind to a woman. Same goes for boys with girls, you were obligated not to upset them or let them come to harm.
If you were a woman, these things were optional. Likewise for males with other males, it's optional.
The only exception is age. Being an adult always commanded extra respect from children, and being a senior person, from children and from working-age adults.
However, it was never discouraged to be polite or kind to anyone, whomever you might be.
That was the point.
In Soviet times, despite "gender roles", women worked in every industry in every role. The party doctrine was actually very progressive towards women in the work place, at least in theory. I think most Russians understand that men and women generally have the same number of arms and legs, and can do any job equally. Though I wonder about how things are in today's much more conservative Russia.
Russian women differ on how a woman should be dressed. Some dress for comfort, others to draw attention to themselves. This attention-seeking behavior tends to drop off as women age; very few grandmothers wear high heels and dresses to show off their legs in a blizzard, but some 20 year olds might risk frostbite or spend the grocery budget on an article of clothing... Men are expected to be clean, but mostly dress for comfort. Which is strange, because young men want young women to notice them too...
Cooking isn't very hard, and simple food is often easy to make well and very satisfying. But Americans either never really knew how to cook simple food well, or more likely, they've forgotten.
It's strang, in the 17th century people came to America to eat. There were no large-scale wars, and very few famines. And you had access to super-crops like corn and potatoes.
But industrialized America saw processed foods and poverty on the rise, and people lost access to raw ingredients and simply forgot how to cook something not out of a box or can. Now we have "meal delivery" subscription services, that prepackage your premeasured ingredient with step-by-step instruction for unfamiliar dishes. There's no room to experiment, no room to learn through mistakes.
The knowledge isn't exactly lost, but many younger Americans are having to relearn what their grandparrents took as self-evident basic knowledge.
No, thanks! I am a Russian woman living in Australia. And prefer it in the “western” way!
He sounds like Borat
I'm 70, sadly you are talking about the America that used to be!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nobody is mad of you..keep going...🤣🤣🤣
Спасибо. Поднимай эту тему!!!

Crazy Soviet Dad
Not true. I work on instacart, and some men help me carry heavy stuff and then pay me more tips because a tiny woman brought heavy stuff for them)
I almost married a Russian woman in 2018
Us in America women fought to be equal to man which is ok so we treat them like we would a man then they do not like it
Do you drive a Lada
Ghost Doge he drives a Camry
I drive a lada. Lada X Ray. Cheap car nothing special but I am glad
I must be Russian half me race I don’t know
Omg hello UA-cam
And they said the Soviets were brainwashed 😂😂😂😂!
As for clothes, tailored clothes are the best, no matter what the material is.
i vatch zis man becauuse i want to gyet a RRRussian eccent
do russian vs usa drinking alcohol ))
She sounds nuts
which one?
u need more fam. >:(
I prefer Russian / Ukrainian women ! Beautiful & Feminine!
I’m not mad at anything you said. Sadly people are snowflakes nowadays about everything
It's not just the women though - all Americans dress sloppy. It's kinda sad.
I am an American woman who grew up with the mentality to be tough and not be a crybaby. Whenever men say that they feel that they need to open doors for me, I appreciate it, but it kinda feels disrespectful since it makes me feel like a porcelain doll. I feel that we don’t need “gentlemen” we just need kind people in general. I’m not complaining or anything, I’m just providing a viewpointof an American woman. :)
understood. Interesting for me to grasp that point of view - thank you!
But remember she is only one American. She definitely doesn't represent me.
That instructor is your typical American hard core feminist.
I'm a feminist, and I think that instructor was insane. Politeness is absolutely not sexual harassment.
Russians are real gentlemens!
They respect women rights by taking hard job away. Because she is don't need to work hard, except is no way. Women - is a mother, she have to safe her for babies.
All problems with women in this time is - feminism!!!!
I agree with Russian ideas, it’s good when a man is a gentleman.
Biggest difference between Russian & American women is a little over 50 lbs. for starters! Avg. Russian woman is 5' 7" & weighs 121 lbs. while her avg. American counterpart is 5' 4" & weighs in at 173 lbs. which is considered to be obese by the AMA.
The young Russian women only. By the time you get to babushka age the Russian women have mostly caught up in weight with their American counterparts.
@@lorimav That's all around the world & by that time who cares? :-)
@@alivewire13 so, healthy weight is unimportant because one gets old? Who cares about old people, anyway, right?
@@regular-joe Age wasn't mentioned in my statement!
@@alivewire13 you're right, it was the other commentator, 4Veritas - so sorry!!
For a cringey dad
It's funny because if it comes to an extreme situation like war or survival ....people quickly find out men do better in those situations
thanks!! very intresting. now we have some changes, but not too much. I don't support emansipation, I don't understand and never like it. The women must be under the guard of her man and he must take care of her
Maybe America needs a little more Russian.
