zombies in the story has nothing to do with zombies in the campaign btw. idk how people think they are related. you need to know 2 things about zombies and have only played the campaign ONCE to realize that
I missed the days where black ops zombies and the campaign used to be separate game modes with their own story’s but noooo thanks to the “multiverse” thing…everything is connected and confusing to understand
Basically the aether story happens, then nikolai does his big plan, and the "new" universe he creates is the one the campaigns take place in. It is genuinely super confusing and convoluted, and by god is it hard to follow all the moving pieces.
I stopped playing zombies during bo4 but I like it, it's faithful to the original vision they had around bo1, there was even a scrapped map that was going to have woods in it. I would've loved it if they did it back then as I never really cared about the campaign or mp.
How do you watch the intro cutscene again on Liberty Falls Zombies? It played the first time I played the map, now I just load into the map with my operator. Is there anywhere where you can watch the opening cutscenes for maps?
What he’s trying to say is why did it have to be zombies? They could’ve done so much more with the hallucinations but no they decided to cop out and shoehorn zombies. Not everyone likes zombies that’s why they play the campaign and multiplayer only. Zombies should stay in zombies in my opinion.
yes. and the guy who took his eye in Black Ops 1 is also a part of this zombies storyline as one of the top leaders of Omega group. Russia in the zombie story.
Anyone who has never liked zombies is a casual scrub boat with a distaste for imagination. Zombies has been a core pull for treyarch games for well over a decade, pushing on two decades. Whoever still has never touched ANY of the zombies installations is missing out big time if they're touching any Treyarch games.
i mean... its been pretty convoluted and complicated ever since Blops 2, and even Bo1 had lots of weird stuff going on. i definitively get what you mean, but the multiple timelines and how complicated it is are not really a new thing, i think its just a bit more in our face as they're trying to make it more cinematic.
@NashmanNash That's basically just WAW. Bo1 had time travel, space travel, blowing up earth, going to Phobos in an alternate dimension, an alternate timeline where JFK and Nixon fought zombies, ancient alien artifacts like the Vril Device, Focusing Stone, and Vril Sphere. What about any of that is simple? How about the part where a grown man and little girl switch bodies, or how a little girl gets sucked into a pyramid and her father turns into pure energy and learns about the aether and a greater universe? If you really think about it, zombies hasn't been little character interaction, and a single easy timeline since Verruckt. Shi No Numa is what opened this can of worms with the first mention of Aliens, teleproting and Element 115.
@@samuelb66 well that was what i meant to say, but you clearly had it all so much fresher in your mind 😅 I had forgotten how crazy Bo1 was, all i could think of was moon and all the pyramid stuff and the time travel in shangri-la, but maybe with the exception of MoTd and Origins i would say Bo1 was even weirder than Bo2 story wise
@santi-sn4li hahaha yea, people really forget how crazy bo1 was, because most of the info comes from radios which people don't listen to. We learn from Shang radios that not only do we get sent back in time, but we are launched into an alternate dimension. But yea, I totally agree that bo1 is way crazier than bo2. TranZit, Die Rise, Nuketown and Buried all happen in the same timeline that Moon happens in. Its also a pretty straight forward story with victus (until the comics which got weird). Mob and Origins are the 2 maps that really started to introduce the weird stuff. Mob introduced pocket dimensions, and Origins was our first understanding of Agartha and the Mulitverse, which were only hinted at in bo1. We knew there were alternate dimensions in bo1, but we didn't know it was a true multiverse until Origins.
God I hope we finally get to see what happened to Samantha, being locked in the aether for 1600 plus days is nuts. Though of course the number might be less since that was based in the future in MWZ. Still I don’t know how tf are they gonna tie the ending of the MWZ story into this game, I mean they’re two different eras separated by decades. Who knows if she’s even gonna look normal going off what happened to the one guy that was locked in there during the ending of Cold War. Never played it so I was lost on the storyline lol.
Modi's check bucket list be like - 1- sell tea at a tea stall and serve people 2- become the prime minister and serve people (again) 3- become a mad scientist and destroy people 😂😂😂😂😂

Even in a different universe Richthofen still uses the Wunderwaffe DG-2
He literally sleeps with a wunderwaffe for home defense like a revolver in the drawer😂
@@J35ang31 is it a different universe? I thought it was the same but a different outcome because the cycle was broken at the end of BOIIII

Every "Zombie" had been a hallucination. Great plot twist in BO6.
If grey granted me access to just a single sniff I would single handedly annihilate all zombies within seconds
Holy crap they brought Chaos into the Dark Aether story. Thought that was dead
