Amazing place , this place deserve to be renovated, image how much this community would make , should be a great spot to a getaway, people should maintain this place sparkling clean,a broom, water ,some repairs would be a good start
It’s a double edged sword isn’t it. Can’t keep trading the same horse forever. I would love to be an apart of something like this. Document and restore, would be amazing to see and be apart of such a undertaking.. I always keep an eye out for this stuff on the market as well. Would like to add something like this to the channel and provide episodes on progress as we go and get input from you guys as well. Would be fun! Thank you for dropping in!👍👍👋
Great video! Amazing to think of the great engineering feats accomplished so long ago. Now we're searching for the lithium and rare-earth minerals because technology has changed the need - and I hear there is a bunch under our feet - like western NC. THANKS for relocating your informative comments so that they are readable!!
Blue ridge mountains and Smokey’s hold unimaginable gold and resources. Beautiful area of our country as well. Its truly a double-edge sword going after the precious commodities.. Happy to share and have you along.. Thank you for the thoughts, hope todays treating you well👍👍👋
Hallo Freund, schön, von Leuten auf der anderen Seite des großen Teichs zu hören. Ich hoffe, wir werden Sie heute gut behandeln! Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch! Gerne teilen!👋👋👍
Oh man I started watching and had to stop and do something out of town and I can't wait to get home and watch this. I know it's going to be a great video....nice and a long one too. I like the conversation with your friend like I said can't to watch this one.
Thanks for taking us on this explore Australia here, it must be remote no graffiti or vandalism but you did mention there where still active mines in the area that may be why this location is intact, hope it remains that way. Wise call being 1 out the danger level increases 1000 fold in those old buildings , walk away live to explore another day.
Happy to hear from ya! yeah it appears it has had some mindfulness and care to the site. Really pristine, the level of natural decay and preservation amongst the mountains was really great to see and appreciate. Rare find and I’m glad you and me hope for the same outcome of this wonderful area. Happy to share and thank you👍👍👋
Another great video just watched it this morning what a beautiful place. Those people that worked and lived there in it's hey day had to be a tough sort the hard work, weather and being so remote. Did you two camp out somewhere out there? As always thank you for documenting these places.
Thank you, Charles. No camping would be a great camp though might have too. It really was a difficult site to explore and have so far away and everything left behind fascinating build here. Would be cool to see a picture in the hey day!
Nice to hear from you Henry, thank you. It does, extremely symmetrical as well. See the grid and structures really dialed in was interesting especially given the ground they stand. Happy to share, Thank you👍👍👋
Oops... , I will see some of Montana next Summer. My Aunt and Uncle own the Continental Mine. He said he just got an Easement with the BLM for 35 yrs. He's not going to be around by then, so he's not going to worry about it after that. Safe Journeys to you Both.
It was unfortunately I could hear every inch of structural support cracking as I moved. I am all for exploring but these buildings due to snow and age and decay are extremely difficult and dangerous to navigate. Thanks for tuning in!👋👋👍
based I Interior. The mining camp Was not abandoned That long ago. Sometime in the 2000 era. Maybe 10 years ago. It had been updated on the inside. Community center.
Thank you, happy to share with you. The head frame/ore bin was a bit nerving, can’t believe we got in it and it’s still holding so much ore.. Amazing history abandoned in the mountains here.. Thanks👍👍👋
Jeep guys famous words... "She's broken" 😅 That first structure could have been a dinning facility. Those 4 structures that were rickety looked like bunk houses. Seems like a government build.
Hey, hey nice to hear from ya Johnny. Happy to share as always. I definitely got a feeling it was a strange colony or civil civic settlement up there. The buildings felt almost institutional or restrictive. However a treat to explore and experience.. Thank you, hope todays treating you well.👋👋👍
@@MountainWestProductions Thanks Buddy, Im just finishing the video. That sure is a beautiful place. Thanks for the hard work. Best Regards! BTW, I have seen some huge German Shepherds in the area of 160+ pounds. That Wolf must have been ginormous.
I have to agree, it’s very strange almost to perfect for a working area. Strange but super awesome, really enjoyed this site. Happy to share, thank you for joining 👍👍👋

Making Outback Jackie nervous with some of the places you’re crawling in and out of 😅 so jealous I couldn’t come along for this one!
It's definitely a thrill but I always go in with respect for the past, and for myself. Thanks for watching!

Nice to hear from you Henry, thank you.

Interesting. Careful in those old mines. It's a shame these places go to waste 😊 Do you know how old the camp is?
Now we're talking. You guys look familiar. Still love the Content, and the Conversation. I'm not close to Montana now, but next Summer

very nice to hear from you, thank you for the kind words..
Happy to share and enjoy this history with you!👋👋👍
Absolutely beautiful. Did they mill their own timber? Is that tin roof or wood slat roof? Thanks 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Wood Slat, Thank you for joining!
That song is really nice
Dude I wouldn't resist in climbing this red lookout
It is tempting people have done it, might be a good bucket list stop to go for! 👋👋👍
@@MountainWestProductions it might have a view to die for
@emanoelpaulino1935 haha no pun intended I hear ya. It would be great to get up there. I thought about it..😬😬
What was the shooting noises? Was it that building moving? Yicks!! I would have ran out of there

There is a rather complete history of this mines' operations within the Daly family papers.
Thank you👍👍
At one building you were in but the library look like a school house
A family member of mine worked there many years ago mining chromium. very cool place to visit

I will never understand the destructiveness within the human DNA!?! If you cannot leave it better than you found it just leave alone!!
Was this really an Army outpost that did mining for some sort of munitions?
I am honestly not sure what the major enterprise or institution that was behind this magnificent endeavor but I can say it was something big..🤔
Are you and desert drifter related? You guys have the same voice!
I’m not, haha I hear this a lot however! I watch him often as well. Great explores👍👍

@@MountainWestProductions Yep, very structured build for the camp. Be safe out there.
It does have 340k miles on it so I think it deserves a pass
why do people have to be disrespectful to places like these
I’m not sure either but it’s a shame..Really is..
Thank you👍👍👋
Wow, 300 pounds is gigantic for a wolf. Was it tagged?
It was a biggie not sure, might be a record I’ll check out what been posted!

Military outpost mayby?
Hey whats the song at the start of the video?
“Leave The Light On- Mattias Tell” He has some great songs, I use them frequently.
Thank you👋👋👍
Wait, is a wolf or a woof?
Hey guys any Bigfoot stories?
A few, I have a good Bigfoot hunting route aswell!
Thats a female Bighorn sheep.
Looks like an old mission site ..probably a grave yard somewhere
I think it was a church retrear/ camp.
