This OLED has basically ruined me. It looks so ridiculously good. It's HRD10, 4k, 138Hz, 10 bit, has FreeSync Premium Pro, and a lot more. It's also 48", so it can function as an amazing TV, but without all the smart garbage.

I just realized this monitor is on sale for $1099 instead of $1499... this is an insane deal for this 138hz OLED LG panel

Nice monitor but hey....it's wicked pricey!
$849 now...
got it for $800. your the best bro!
Really liking the recent videos, feels like you found a good niche and groove for them. +1 on a video on CRT filters, they can be so difficult to get right with trial and error.
I use the 55" LG C1 OLED TV as my monitor, and it's absolutely amazing. 4K, 1ms response time, 120Hz, VRR. It's my monitor and TV and that's why I went for 55". I was worried it would be too big but I could never go smaller now. It's so immersive. I can also turn it into an ultrawide with it being an OLED but I rarely do that.
It’s like everyday I find a new monitor I never knew about. This is insane man. Too much tech out here in these streets
the innocn website does not show this monitor, no specs, no instruction manual download... nothing.... in fact they don't show any monitor above 43 inches
Yeah that also scares me
I can confirm OLEDs are amazing since I've owned the LC C1 TV since 2021 and it works flawlessly with everything I throw at it. I even have a video I uploaded of me playing on my Analogue Super NT on on it.
Great video!
I have the same TV as my monitor. It's an amazing screen.
That is one hell of a monitor for under $1,000
holy sh!t! I didn't notice the sale. It was $1499 while I was shooting the video. That's a crazy price.
@@teksyndicate yeah it's definitely going to be my next display
This will be awesome to replace a TV. Every smart TV I've had and used, is laughably slow only a few months later. Thanks for the solid review!
Dude, I loved this video. I can't wait to see OLED vs CRT side-by-side, any ETA on when the new video will land?
Dude your “nitwit” dad joke made my day thank you so much 😂
I can't do 48 inches for a monitor, sorry. Doesn't matter how good it looks, there's too much real estate for my eyes that close. 27inches, 1440p, OLED or Mini LED, 165 ish hz, proper HDR, that's where it's at. There's an Acer monitor coming in august that has the perfect specs for me at the right price.
Bro, it is your fault I investigated ODACs and orthodynamic drivers like a decade ago (I still have a gen 1 O2 on my desk with a pair of TRP50 V1). Now you're sending me to buy this screen. Thank you for destroying my savings. :)
BFI on the C1 and CX comes as close to CRT as flatpanels ever have. In old 2D side scrollers its nearly pin sharp in motion. LG removed 120hz BFI on new panels though so we are going backwards in motion clarity.
Now that screen looks nice!
I'm hoping to buy a 27" OLED monitor
I recommend 1440p at that size... it'll be beautiful and you won't need to mess with scaling. I find that 27" 4k needs scaling so my desktop real estate is the same as 1440p... and at that size I don't notice the resolution difference unless I'm sitting too close.
@@teksyndicate yep I'm thinking about 27" @1440p
To give my very old 32" 1080 a rest 😅
yeah Ive been satisfied with mine
That is a nice monitor!
Tell INNOCN to make a 55-inch QD-OLED version this monitor so I can buy one! I hate all of the crappy smart features, microphones and cameras being built into TV's today!
Hey Logan, and other viewers. I use a solid black desktop background and Taskbar on second monitor. Saves life of precious oled pixels plus super stealthy look to workstation.
I forgot to mention, but after like 2 minutes of no activity, this monitor goes into a screensaver mode... basically turns black and has a little logo that moves around.
The RGBW kills it for me. It ruins text. With this, text will never be crisp. This is NOT a minor thing. Why can't they make an RGB OLED? Also does it quickly throttle bright scenes (you can see it automatically turn down the brightness on the fly)? This is something else that I can't live with either.
Stunning
This is bigger than my TV :D
Unlocked zeldas frame rate to a sweet 35 fps lol
I always go to GMG when a new game comes out. They almost always have a 15% off deal. Got System Shock for $6 less than Steam.
This monitor looks great. 138hz is...weird to me, I know I wouldn't notice it while gaming but it not being 144 just irks me. I wonder what this has for burn-in protections (I own an AW3423DWF, the pixel shift is nice but jarring when it happens).
I need to send you a message about Zelda. I never thought to hook my Switch up to my ultrawide OLED, I bet it looks amazing. I've been playing on an older Sony LCD tv. Still nice looking, but not as nice as it could be.
No smart features wins the day for me 🎉
That's a great monitor.
Which Zelda was that?
Awesome I'm looking at oled screens to mount up to my wall that needs to be filled and max size is up to 55 inch. :)
I'd say that if you need gaming, this sale price is kinda hard to beat. If you are just watching movies, you may not need the high refresh rate... but I love that it doesn't have any smart bs.
Great review!!! Are any of the HDMI ports for an INPUT? I'd like to connect my Mac Studio to it, which has an HDMI output. Thank you!
Hope they got a 27inch 1440p coming out. Would like try a oled that isnt insanely expensive.
Same. That's exactly what I want on my desk.
Question, as someone who is ignorant to monitor panel differences what makes CRT monitors so good/desirable?
true blacks... much more fluid motion even at lower refresh rates due to the way it draws the scene. each dot (pixel) gets re-drawn on every frame. LCDs and even OLEDs have "stay and hold" technology where it won't redraw a pixel every frame unless it needs to be re-drawn... but this doesn't look as fluid to our eyes. Some OLEDs are inserting black frames between every normal frame and this makes it more fluid, but can look darker. It's not perfect. CRTs still are the most fluid and are technically the fastest.

isnt this the same thing as the LG 48GQ900-B 48?
Basically.. but the Alienware support is worth it
they are around the same price but alienwear makes these? NICEE. Im trying to upgrade my 34 inch ultra wide for music production and video editing, how has it been holding up? i have a 47 inch desk. would it be too big? or just right.?> im basicially trying to getg a monitor thats twice as tall as the ultra wide. @@teksyndicate
Is the screen glossy
Can this monitor scale to full screen on 1440p??
Yup.
Don't want to be that person but HDR on Linux is still unsupported. Hopefully it will be added to Wayland soon though :)
looks great, ill keep it in mind if i end up with an extra $1200 : \
$849...
it or her?
Its too big... I dont get why they cant seem to get this right, you either have to buy 48 or 34... this is why people are buying the LG 42C2, which in width is the same as my 38 ultrawides... im sure someone will have a 38 OLED soon.... and will want $2k for it
I agree about it being too big for a desk unless you are only doing productivity, but this is kinda overkill for that. I'd recommend using it as a gaming TV/living room PC. But, I think the 38" ultrawide is still my favorite for the desk.
@@teksyndicate oh yeah, I forgot, you kinda dug 38 too... I have two of them... one of which is being driven by a STRIX 1080Ti that was once in your possession :)
Anyone know what game is shown on 2:19
store.steampowered.com/app/1368030/ANNO_Mutationem/
Amazing game.
Nobody needs smart TVs. Plug in your console or amazon stick, those will run better anyways
Got anything for $1?
Half a bag of ice?
first? am never first to anything :(
Buy 10 finik controllers great to have for fighter game tournaments
Why do you show me this? I have zero self control when it comes to upgrade my setup 😂
Finally we see this type of monitor for the consumer at a reasonable price. Nothing wrong with this unit!
Had the same experience when i got my lg c2 oled :) , never ever going back to anything else, maybe mini led with enough dim zones. Its like i got a new pair of eyes. Everything looks good and I finally understand the HDR difference. Its insane.
Yeah loads of people don't really know the oled hdr difference until they spend time in front of one. I hope the technology can get better so VR helmets just start using them as default. (some limitations exist still)
1. Can you confirm if the monitor supports Nvidia G-Sync?
2. Can you show some more of the menus for calibration? One of the best things about LG TVs is the fact that you can easily calibrate them with portrait displays autocal software (or others like lightspace)
3. Does it have burn-in protection features (like auto dimming) and can they be disabled?
4. Is burn-in covered under warranty?
5. I notice you usually use the same background music in most of your videos. You have a lot of good music out it would be nice to hear more variety.
Nvidia G-Sync is not mentioned but AMD Free Sync... if i am not mistaken !
@@klemziusklm7248 hmmm. Would be good to see @tek syndicate reply on this. Lots of us on team gream

Can this monitor be mounted? I have this monitor and seen the Amazon description state it is vesa mount compatible, but I’m not sure how.
How did you achieve those old tv like bezels??? Why no-one asked this?
I'm honestly a little shocked that monitor is as cheap as it is. Snapped up a Sen Pi, but I already have two controllers lol.
I know... now I'm greedy and want a 55"+ version so I can use it in my living room. I really do not want a garbage smart TV... and 138hz is really nice.
@@teksyndicate Smart TV is a cancer, because the apps always suck. They're always the least maintained and the least feature rich. You're always way better off to get a Nvidia Shield Pro or something and use that instead.
@@praetorxyn Most of the reviews I read for this monitor complained that it wasn't smart... what kind of sniveling journalists are writing these reviews!?
@@teksyndicate Non-tech people who have never used the Plex or Jellyfin apps and realized they don’t support basic things like Opus, TrueHD, PGS Subtitles, etc, don’t know any better.
Sounds almost identical to the LG C1 and C2, probably even runs off the same panels just a more PC focused controller in it.
I have the LG C1 48" and it has all these features except is 120hz, I don't think 138hz will make a difference but they are good monitors except obviously this INNOCN one looks to be better priced and probably has no LG software crap going on (I disable most of it with factory remote).
As a 49" DW curved user, I'd like to see a 55" curved in the future. For the TV replacement, please INNOCN, bring out a 55"!!!
I'm waiting for upcoming 32" OLED 4K 240Hz that will be so amazing.
20:24 I see you trying to do that knockdown follow up attack.
It looks pretty bad actually compared to the other OLEDs on the market...
Can you tell us why ?
Huh? You have some side by side comparison going on we need to know about??
Yeah it's call going into a best buy and looking for yourself@@doncleveland1245
Never seen a fighting game at more then 60fps before. Does that mess things up from a competitive standpoint? Isn’t all frame data based on 60fps? Does it create more frames and you see frames a 60fps monitor will never see? Does the game have an official native fps recommended setting?
You can only play offline in more than 60fps
Will Oled screen's burn-in ruins your experience? Windows programs sometimes freeze when you are away from monitor
This one has a built-in screen saver that doesn't rely on the operating system. It turns on when nothing has happened on the screen after a few minutes.
It has speakers! Sold!
It’s INNOCN though. You’re gonna see burn in sooner rather than later and don’t expect warranty once you do.
do you have one?
@@0NeedHelp I have a 55 inch LG G3.
@@TillTheLightTakesUs so you had an INNOCN in the past?
@@0NeedHelp Indeed, what of it?
@@TillTheLightTakesUs you said, gonna see burn in sooner rather than later" how soon did you seen a burn in?
6:10 holy smokes that is a really clean copy of Slayers, it looks amazing on that panel
It's the widescreen version... Which is 1080p... But they crop a ton off the bottom and the top. So it looks good for the video but I get frustrated watching it because it's way too zoomed in at times
Here's the real question: how far have you gotten in Tears Of The Kingdom?! Lol.
I know you're busy and can't always make time. You have to make time for it. It is truly the next step in gaming.
I just landed in hyrule... and then I started a game jam so I can't play for another week.
@@teksyndicate there's a lot of game dude. You play for a few hours at a time, once a week, I'll take you here to finish LOL. Assuming he tried to do everything in the game. Which I am LOL.
