25:47 "It's unfortunate that I Serum Powdered, because that also reveals to my opponent exactly what's going on." ...like seven mulligans didn't already do that, LSV?
casually 35min vintage league. reminds me of the time i borrowed a friend my dredge deck in legacy, played an entire 8 man while i only played the first round of modern. feelsgood
>mulls to one“Well I wish I hadn’t powdered now my opponent knows what I’m doing”... what other deck in vintage will ever aggressively mull that quickly down to one again?
I don't think he needed to mull I k ow it's not manaless dredge but I think he should still be choosing to draw. That way he could have kept any hand with a dredger
Late comment, but there's no way you can play like a manaless dredge deck with this deck. It lacks the redundancy, not to mention that this is vintage, so even if he could play like manaless dredge there's no way he's fast enough. Not to mention putting your opponent on the play seems terrible in deck with no way to stop a turn one kill. You don't put serum powders in your deck if you're afraid to mulligan
Love the vintage video man!!! I can see ya doing the hand movements to tap things or cast things when you’re explaining your move haha. LSV is the best!!
SORRY FOR MU BAD ENGLISH ! I dont play vintage but i love watching vintage's video because it's like "I play land" "Ok I play like 7 card" "Ok use my land" "Concede" xD
gaston pauthier Don't start your comment with "SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH" next time. Nobody will yell at your for making mistakes and this looks much worse.
I personally wouldn't scoop to infinity turns when they have a mana crypt out. Good chance they hit another paradoxical outcome before it kills them, but it's not a guarantee and all you have to do is F6.
You gotta understand, it's not competitive for lsv to do these types of matches. Once his opponent is in the high 90s percentile of winning and lsv knows the win condition he just scoops it up rather than wasting time. The 1/100 times he wins those games is not worth the 99 games spent wasting 2 people's time for an incredibly likely outcome. If it was a gp or pt? Mhmm you're damn right he'll sit his ass right there and watch him go through everything. That's money on the line and weeks/months of preparation for the tournament.
In the last game you missed that you'd already exiled fkz to a serum powder. I'm not sure if you should have still gone for it, but that was something to consider.
That new mulligan rule where you draw 7 each time and put X cards on the bottom if you keep (X is the number of times you mulliganed). If that becomes the new rule vintage dredge is all but guaranteed to hit at least 1 bazaar every game. Like really the odds that you miss bazaar every single mulligan are so low it must be impossible and even if you don’t hit bazaar on 7 different 7 card hands you can just mull until you get 0 bazaars so you can put all the not bazaars on the bottom to increase your chance you’ll top deck it.
It's so you can look at the opponents hand. Often times vintage decks can produce an absurd amount of many very fast so the extra one doesn't make nearly as much difference as the information of getting to look at your opponents hand. It means you know if you need to play around counter spells, what our opponent is on, etc. Also there are a huge number of potential cards you can name in vintage and if your just blind naming then theres a good chance it doesn't matter. Furthermore, by the time you to see an important piece you would name with needle, your often dead, so with spyglass you get to see what you need to name before it kills you.
Wait, this doesn't actually play the power 9, nor any dual lands, but is still a deck to beat? 😃 You've sparked my interest... (Looks at price of Bazaar of Baghdad) Oh, never mind... 😂
Wenn I first saw ichorid in a lgs years ago I was fascinated by the way the player only used his graveyard. I would love to play vintage dredge but I'm paper playing and won't afford the cards atm😎 very good video!
LSV's content is the only reason I come looking for video's on this channel but in the meantime I cannot believe you have not sorted out your crazy computer case fan going haywire every few seconds. Even If it were just a constant whir it would not even be close to being so annoying as it is right now, changing pitch all the time, making itself noticable.
I still don't understand why bazaar isn't restricted in vintage. Vintage sideboards are frequently half for shops and half for dredge. As a modern and legacy player, this sounds like a very unhealthy format and frequently becomes a battle of sideboards.
Gotta wonder what WotC's stance on using a free coverage account to play paid leagues for advertiser friendly UA-cam videos for a 3rd party (CFB) is...
Is this magic or just flipping a coin to see who wins on turns 1 through 3? Extremely expensive decks that just condense into early game OP turns. I know, it's an acquired taste - maybe i will mature to like it...?
Dredge is one of the few decks where that's normal. Most other playable vintage decks are full of interaction and the games tend to go longer than in other formats. Even combo decks like Paradoxical Storm has a good amount of interaction and plays the long game really well.
No Force of WIll and especially Mental Misstep? But hey... at least you've got 16 lands :D This is a very weak version of Vintage Dredge. I don't Dredge, ever, but I've got a much better list here, even though Gitaxian Probe has been restricted.
"One downside of 'Dredge', besides the fact that you don't get to play magic..." best quote of my life
Man this was my favorite Tom Martell video ever. Great video Tom!
LSV I thought ChannelFireball only produced MTG content?
I'm so happy that this isn't Tom Martell playing Pauper Delver
"One downside to Dredge apart from the fact you don't get to play Magic..." I love this man.
In this video: LSV casually forgets that he exiled flame-kin zealot on a serum powder mulligan
25:47
"It's unfortunate that I Serum Powdered, because that also reveals to my opponent exactly what's going on."
...like seven mulligans didn't already do that, LSV?
I'm pretty sure that was his joke
casually 35min vintage league.

I love watching LSV's thought process on vids like this.
>mulls to one“Well I wish I hadn’t powdered now my opponent knows what I’m doing”... what other deck in vintage will ever aggressively mull that quickly down to one again?
Some combo deck? Not something competitive but i am sure there are decks that mull to 1
I don't think he needed to mull I k ow it's not manaless dredge but I think he should still be choosing to draw. That way he could have kept any hand with a dredger

I'm a simple man. I see LSV, I watch the video
This is a weird Delver deck...
He's just using dredge cards to fuel the delve cards
(Yes I know delver does't come from delve but from delver of secrets)
I actually love watching eternal formats. I would love to see as much more of this sorta video more. Thanks for the content!
lsv a shapeshifter confirmed
SORRY FOR MU BAD ENGLISH !
I dont play vintage but i love watching vintage's video because it's like "I play land"
"Ok I play like 7 card"
"Ok use my land"
"Concede" xD
gaston pauthier Don't start your comment with "SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH" next time. Nobody will yell at your for making mistakes and this looks much worse.
The only thing you said wrong was "mu". Everyone mock this guy!
Filip Tryhuk lol “nobody will yell at you for making mistakes”. Are you new to the internet?
Hitthegoat no, I am most definitely not. But people who attack you based on your grammar already lost their argument.
Filip Tryhuk yer*
I personally wouldn't scoop to infinity turns when they have a mana crypt out. Good chance they hit another paradoxical outcome before it kills them, but it's not a guarantee and all you have to do is F6.
Blake Runnoe they can also hit yawgmoth's will to replay the outcome in their graveyard to bounce the crypt before it kills them.

It's LSV. It's Vintage. It's Dredge.
Christmas came earlier this year.
Videos like this are why I am subscribed to this channel.
Finally some more LSV. I needed my fix man!
Any opinions on sphinx of lost truths? I've beem playing it in dredge for some time and it's been pretty great as an alternate way to go off
Most CFB deck tech + matches videos are 2 hours long, and here we have vintage dredge at a grand total of half an hour.
In the last game you missed that you'd already exiled fkz to a serum powder. I'm not sure if you should have still gone for it, but that was something to consider.
Flamekin Zealot was exiled to Serum Powder in the last game, so Ashen Rider was the only hit available.

I might have played out them going Vault Key since they had Mana crypt
Well I hope it was worth your soul, Luis.
Cody Deutsch no worries he lost that when he left his wife and daughter
S A V A G E
wow i can't wait to watch tom martell play some blue red delv..... whelp
Pro tip: Remember which card you exile with serum powder !
Not sure if this is a troll on LSV or accidental Martell thumbnail
when a vintage deck isn't going to play Black lotus, you know there is extra spice going on
I don't get spyglass over needle :/ ?
It's so you can look at the opponents hand.

The ad at @20:00 startled me.
Is it just me or can I hear LSV's computer's fan?
Wait, this doesn't actually play the power 9, nor any dual lands, but is still a deck to beat? 😃
You've sparked my interest...
(Looks at price of Bazaar of Baghdad)
Oh, never mind... 😂
Someone is getting fired
Why is it only 3 matches? Leagues are 5.
zbishop because it's dredge
Wenn I first saw ichorid in a lgs years ago I was fascinated by the way the player only used his graveyard. I would love to play vintage dredge but I'm paper playing and won't afford the cards atm😎 very good video!
Alexander Baranski you can always make proxies of the cards ;) find like-minded people who prox too and have some casual fun
casual fun is not the problem, we prox some decks or the ideas before building the real thing.
Alexander Baranski yeah and Vintage is well...kinda like a board game version of magic. Just for fun :-)
LSV's content is the only reason I come looking for video's on this channel but in the meantime I cannot believe you have not sorted out your crazy computer case fan going haywire every few seconds. Why are the Leylines in the main?
The threat of opposing dredge is that strong in Vintage
Round 2 game 2 could of vast therapy by tagerting self for gravetroll and stinkweed
I still don't understand why bazaar isn't restricted in vintage. Vintage sideboards are frequently half for shops and half for dredge. As a modern and legacy player, this sounds like a very unhealthy format and frequently becomes a battle of sideboards.
the same reason workshops isn't. Dredge keeps the format from devolving to control. If bazaar is restricted, there goes the deck.
I can see what you're saying, but it just seems absurd that I need to devote 5-7 sideboard cards just for this deck
LSV! You are the only one that may play, other than Frank.
Karsten? lol
Walter?
knockin up victories
LSV no :C Dredge is the enemy.
I’m so unhappy I wanted blue red
Vintage is so interesting... :D
Hollow one hyppeee
Gotta wonder what WotC's stance on using a free coverage account to play paid leagues for advertiser friendly UA-cam videos for a 3rd party (CFB) is...
>multiple hour and change gameplay videos
>dredge videos ~half hour
Yeah, seems right.

You sound so broken when you say "I'm just here playing dredge."
Those commercial circles are pretty annoying
An LSV Vintage video??? I'm gonna tell my gf sexy time will have to wait! Just kidding, I don't have a gf :D.
*insert comment about confusing title here*
Lol, pretty sure your opponent "kacknub" (="shit noob") was German 😂...
Isn't it pronounced bazaar of bahdad not bagdad
its bagdad
In game ads are teh suck!
No Force of WIll and especially Mental Misstep? But hey... at least you've got 16 lands :D
This is a very weak version of Vintage Dredge. I don't Dredge, ever, but I've got a much better list here, even though Gitaxian Probe has been restricted.
Not all Vintage decks are blue based
Lol wut
absolutely disgusting, love it though
Noooooooo
Dredge is not Magic
Wow f vintage.
