    Thank you so much for taking out the time for this.
    It does make a lot of sense.
    The main problem that arises is the long syllogisms and silly mistakes especially in qr

    Hi Thomas, these videos are very helpful! Thanks so much for your help.
    I was just wondering would it be possible for you to do a live Q&A UCAT webinar session this month for your subscribers? I am planning to sit the exam towards the end of this month and was wondering if there would be a possibility to talk to you live in a webinar setting to get your advice on specific challenges i have been facing? Thank you

      Hey! I actually haven't even thought about doing live webinars, I'd have to look into what software I could do it with etc.
      Somebody actually emailed me about doing 1 to 1 mentoring for it which I could see happening through zoom or something.
      I'm glad you're getting value from my videos and I really appreciate you taking time to leave feedback - I love reading them. I'll have a look into the webinar side of things, just a heads up I may not be able to figure it out until personal statement time etc! Could maybe do it for that too.

    Hi, my ucat is in 11 days and I've done like 3/4 mocks so far and ive gotten 2300,2410,2600,2440 (in this order). I haven't been reflecting as much but I'll start doing that now. Do u think I have enough time to average a 2700 on my ucat or is it best to defer it? sorry, its a bit long but I noticed your beginning scores are similar to mine and just wanted to ask how long it took you to improve. Thanks

    Thank you so much for making this video. How many mock exams did you do in total and how many analysis did you do ?
    How many mock analysis did you do and until you saw SOME improvement?
    How many mock analysis did you do until you saw MASSIVE improvement?
    Did you do analysis for both practice questions and mini mocks?
    Thanks :)

      I did about 14 mocks total. Analysed them all. Not sure exactly when I noticed differences. It's more gradual than anything. I scored well in mock 10 which was the first time I saw an improvement

    I'm sitting my ucat in 4 days and i've been doing some of the official ucat mocks and I find QR way harder than Medify's and the whole experience was really slow (some of my AR questions wouldn't load properly and questions take a while to load). So I was wondering if anyone knows how the actual exam compares with the UCAT mocks? Thanks

    • @scotmed9577
      @scotmed9577  2 роки тому +4

      I think generally the mocks average out to be representative of the exam but one of them was really hard. I can't remember what mock it was, but I think mock C was meant to be the most reflective.
      In saying that, I scored like 2400 in mock C and got 2830 in my exam, so it's really specific to the individual.

    Hoping to apply to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen for the 23/24 academic year. Do you have an interview tips video in the pipeline at all, or have any tips you would be willing to share?

    • @scotmed9577
      @scotmed9577  2 роки тому +1

      Plenty interview videos to come! I'm focusing on UCAT videos at the mo just as it's most people's primary focus at the minute, but I'll be making personal statements / references / interview videos for all parts of Scottish uni application process when the time comes! Have you sat UCAT yet?

    i'm sorry for asking so many questions but do you know how i can improve my speed in verbal reasoning, i've tried to practise speed reading but everytime i read really quickly i can't seem to remember anything, do you know of anything that helped your score to improve in VR?

    • @scotmed9577
      @scotmed9577  2 роки тому +2

      Focus less on trying to read very fast, and more on choosing the right passages to read, and the long confusing ones to skip. Skim and find the section of the text you need and then read slowly around that area.

      All I can really recommend is focusing on any specific areas you can see failing. If it's generally maybe take into account that you're working too hard (granted, you actually feel this and are working yourself hard lol) and take a few days off. Good luck!
