Lol @UCAT Secrets, I got 99th percentile (3250) but for a while I had the first mindset Shanaka mentioned - this only disappeared after I became so focused on doing questions and reflecting on my exam strategy and technique that I only glanced at my scores. Also I should probably thank Shanaka, I didn't do any of your payed courses, but at the start when I was still looking for how to study your free 2 hour lecture was incredibly helpful (and other videos I decided to watch) - I didn't give you my money but I'll probably recommend other people check you out :).

How long did you study for if you don't mind me asking please?

@@theemilya7732 For me I had about 2 periods of time where I did a lot of work and improved significantly in those times. I got a medentry Ucat package in the first term of yr12, and did one official practise exam to familiarise myself with the exam, but I didn't do much other than a couple questions here and there. First time I seriously studied was in the half term break of term 2 (April I think?) - when I spent a week almost exclusively doing (UCAT) for a few hours (4-5) each day. Then during the rest of the term I again only did questions and exams sporadically - although more regularly than before when I basically did nothing. Then in the winter break, I had about 2 weeks before my exam, and I spent a few hours every day on UCAT - 1 practise exam a day + review of that exam + practise questions on particular sections/doing skills based stuff.
Tbh if you want my advice tho - start as early as possible and just try and set aside a small amount of time each week. There are 3 main parts to the UCAT:
-The content (e.g. knowing basic set theory and combinatorics and basic logic, how to solve particular problem types etc.)
      - Skills (speed reading, mental maths etc.)
      - exam strategy (skipping questions/triaging, knowing all the keyboard shortcuts, being able to make an educated guess)
The earlier you can go through and the content, the better off you will be. Learning the basic exam strategy of things like shortcuts is easy enough as well - but there's no real point doing exams until you've learned the content, and identified what questions types you are good/bad at, and what skills you need to work on.

I got VR: 540, DM: 510, QR: 480 (I have severe number Dyscalculia though), AR: 540 for a total score of 2070 & SJT: 539. I'm lucky because I chose to opt for postgraduate entry before taking the test but I'm still heavily disappointed & upset. ):

I really keep getting a very bad mock score , it reaches around 2160 and just band 3. I really don't know where I am going wrong when ive been practicing a lot of questions untimed ( timed since the start of this month). my exam is just 10 days far and I am really nervous.. do you have any suggestions..

Revisit the questions that you got wrong and see whether they are similar in topic. E.g. in DM I realised that I’ve been getting probability questions wrong or panicking when I see them. So I focused on the feedback (I used Medify) and memorised the working. So to put it in short hone in the questions you get wrong
