Simon, who runs half the channels on UA-cam: I need to do more with my life.
In three months Simon will be the only person making videos on UA-cam, but no one will notice.
As far as Jesus not being a common name in English speaking countries, it actually is, sort of. The name Jesus is based on the Greek name Iesus, which is translated from the Hebrew Yeshua. Yeshua translates to English as Joshua.
Knew a guy who found it offensive that people would name their kids Jesus, meanwhile his son was named Joshua.

I like how Simon is so casual on this channel. His other channels I find sound interesting enough that he doesn't need any banter to sell the content, but a business channel sounds dry and unappealing - it is his personality that gets me to watch these (although the content is also great - just my perception is different)
Bonus Fact: The Alcatraz hot shower thing is actually true as the first warden of the prison understood that the more comfortable the inmates were overall, the less likely they'd be to try to escape or riot. Included in this overall methodology was better food, bigger portions, clean uniforms and bedding as well as slightly more comfortable bunks. It was more expensive short term, but it worked quite well and more than payed off in the end. (You should do a vid about it sometime!)

@@LynnnnnnnnnN This is the primary reason why Alcatraz is the least escaped prison in the world with only ONE successful escape attempt by three inmates working together (The inspiration for the Shawshank Redemption actually), but their fates are unknown, and it is believed by most historians that they drowned in San-Fran bay! (OMG, I am just FULL of useless facts, huh?)

My friend and I got caught up in the Cashflow systems scam back in the early 1990's. I had figured seeing the guy had infomercials running for the last ten years it was legit. Except about two months after our initial investment of a thousand dollars the guy was arrested for fraud :/
Lesson learned.

This is my favorite of all Simons channels not because of its content but because you can see Simons personality really shine. I could watch hours of this channel. I love all of them but this is by far my favorite.
Out of all of Simon’s channels, business Blaze is my favourite. I don’t watch every biographic, top tenz, geographics etc but I always check to see if there’s a new business blaze to watch

I was working as a geologist in Australia at the time of BRE-X and all my fellow professionals were highly skeptical about the whole thing, long story short the geology didn't match the sample profiles and a gold deposit the size claimed would have left geochemical markers in the soil,sediment & rock for miles around the area which were not there. Many geologists mentioned this publicly but the money men knew better until they didn't.
Simon, earlier today I listened to the "we are hiring..." video on one of your sister channels and heard that you got your start with a cold call offering your services for free or very inexpensively. Also I was informed that Bis Blaze is your own project, good on ya brother, this tidbit makes B Blaze even more enjoyable to me. I have been enjoying your delivery of random info on your various channels for awhile, now my GF even listens to you(obviously you have no idea how amazing this is) with no prompting from me. As a resident of Calgary Alberta I used to drive past the Bre-X building daily and know many people who lost ALOT of cash to this scam. Anyhow, just wanted you to know that you have made me decide to do my own channels just for the hell of it and if the girl and I make good of it some day we will have to get together for a wife beater.
