When Simon said "when I was a teenager" it really caught me off guard...I had always imagined him being born fully formed with a beard and glasses ready to spit mad facts at the medical staff and his mother
Dizzy Duh I have been watching this show for years now & I have ALWAYS THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING! Except my thought was that...remember Octo-Mom Nadia Suleiman? Well his mother must’ve been the English version of that or the “WTF-mom” where Simon was curled up in a fetal position & then slid out of his mother in one painful fail swoop out of her, tearing her apart with the mindset to speak & prove EVERYTHING WRONG!
Recently saw an old video with Simon where he has no glasses and a five o'clock shadow instead of a beard. Got halfway through the video before I recognized the voice!

@@ChristmasLore I hear this but Britain’s universal healthcare and the 10 free therapy sessions you can get a year would have been helpful in 2020. Healthcare in the US is so expensive! We have to pay a $5,000 deductible yearly then still have to pay a copay to go to a doctor and sometimes insurance doesn’t want to pay for medication prescribed by your doctor, it’s such a headache dealing with insurance companies.
This channel in the family channels is easily becoming one of my favorites, I know you're reading off a script Simon but then you add in so much extra stuff.
1: I am a postman in the US and I want to start my own business venture in the near future, so I shed a solitary tear for the Dominoes brother that got left out. 2: Being a postman, it’s absolutely shocking how many people still use the DVD Netflix service!

Alright, let's explain Android.
"Pure" Android, usually called AOSP(Android Open Source Project), is free and open source. It is barebones, containing minimal apps baked in and very little drivers. It serves 2 purposes.
1) It provides a clean minimal system for developers to build their apps against and test them on, primarily for the next purpose.
2) As a base for "Consumer" Android. This is what people usually refer to as Android, and varies a lot from device to device.
"Consumer" Android is built with Layers of software on top of AOSP. The first layer is device drivers, helping ensure it can function properly. Next layer is the skin, which can vary drastically by manufacturer. Some skins change the style of Android drastically while others are barely noticeable. The final layer that most(but not all) devices have is the "Google" layer, providing the Suite of Google Apps such as Google Play Store and Google Play Services. This layer is part of an agreement between Google and most manufacturers, with the biggest exceptions being Amazon and most Chinese manufacturers.
Overall this is an oversimplification of it, let me know if you are confused about anything or have any questions.

Android 4.4 is used in the Telxon TC-70 handsets used for pretty much every bit of shop floor work in virtually every British supermarket. That simple and open structure has allowed Android to be used in so many non-phone applications.
The further beauty of Android is that every company using it can apply it's own look to it. As a result I personally feel comfortable and like I'm at home when using Samsung OneUI and Sony Xperia yet android users can still feel comfortable when using other devices. I've had to set up Huawei, STK, Alcatel and Honor phones for my family. Thanks to Android Android it's all familiar enough.
@@andrewince8824 Not just in Britain but in the US as well. The TC-70 is incredibly flexible due to its minimal tweaks on the AOSP base. The use of Android makes writing individual software to fit each customers needs simple, as well as easy to roll out updates.
The power of Android is really it's flexibility. AOSP images are ridiculously small, which means it can fit on devices with storage limitations, and can even be tweaked to compile even smaller.

I have watched this normal/sober, but I am watching this blackout drunk now and I am utterly entranced and this had changed my perceptive in all things talked about.
As someone from Canada, we get US chocolate in most stores, there is now a special section in our Walmarts and there've always been specialty stores where we're able to get the imported chocolate from the UK and it is so much better. I also think that Walkers are way better than Lays.

I'm from the US and I like to cook, so I'm used to the chocolate that I myself make and use condensed milk or cream and much less sugar than what a recipe normally calls for. I thought I might be unusual in this taste preference but the majority of people I've had try it really like it. My sister makes a vegan chocolate cake that everyone in my family thinks is the best recipe and she says it's most likely because she halves the amount of sugar the recipe called for making it lighter on the pallet. As much as that is my favorite color, I'm gonna make a note to NOT use that as a pick up line. Something tells me not only that won't end well, but I might as well choose just how badly for it to go wrong when it does.

The swastika was also used by Native Americans. In the Navajo Tribe it was a symbol of good luck. It was used by my own tribe, the Cherokee.

@@LizzyMarieTina in several places it was. In the northern hemisphere the center is the north star and each of the cross beams is the cardinal directions.

One day in college when I was studying with a group of friends, the idea of creating a Fanta Sea gripped our imaginations. All thought of studying gone, we worked out the size and depth of something large enough to be a sea, the price of a 2 liter of Fanta, where we would put it, how much Fanta is needed, and what amount every citizen of the US would have to pay monthly to create the sea and keep it fizzy. After start up costs it came to around $0.88 per month.
Almost never had a "pop", now I'm old and would only sip a Fanta! Taking some " blotter" we're you?
