Hey guys, just a note of thanks. Your Chargepipe Install video is right on point. I upgraded mine today following your installation instructions. The result was an immediate elimination of turbo drag/delay. She got her pep back.🙂 Thanks for taking the time to help those of us who want to learn. Keep making your awesome, easy to follow videos, they are appreciated. Much respect, 🙏🏾 Maxwell
Why did you removed the top intake sensor? Does this somehow affect the chargepipe sensor? What about the battery? should I disconnect? I'm just a curious.... Cheers ps* the best video about this subject, ever! congrats!
I have a 2016 535i sport and I was told the N55 is not worth tuning is this true? he said no one wants these engines....it sad if true because the F10 is the best chassi or at least better than the 2017 540i
I have a 2011 535i and after tuning the Sports+ transmission using Bimmercode and then Stage 1 using MHD, the car is so much quicker and smooth in gear changes. Torque has increased significantly that your head gets pressed back. Who says N55 ain't worth tuning? Fine, the gains are not as significant as N54 but one can easily get from 40-100+ bhp with simple bolt-on mods like Charge Pipe, FMIC, DP, with a Stage 1 or 2 tune.
I don’t agree with it not being worth it. It’s up to the owner. If ur going to track a car then no it’s not the best. I love my 535i about to do downpipe and intercooler with a custom tune then back to the dyno
the chargepipe didnt look that fiddly to change, but i know the boostpipe requires a bit more effort. btw. do you know if the whole front bumper needs to removed to take the headlights out?
I know this is a small boost in HP, but does it also count as a "preventative maintentance"? Cause you're switching from rubber ish to metal, does the rubber break?
Yes. If you run any additional boost pressure over stock, the OEM pipe pops the entire pressure sensor off the pipe. It breaks the bung right off, screws and all.
Hey, I know you posted this a while ago but was wondering if you or anyone could help. I have a 535i and I’m planning to change the stock intake soon. I figure if I’m removing that, I may as well do this at the same time right? Just wanted to know the benefit of an upgraded charge pipe. Is it just that it’s won’t be plastic anymore and will not be prone to leaks/cracks? Or does it offer something else instead? Thanks
The chargepipe is something you definitely want to upgrade. They are known to crack since oem is plastic. VRSF and evolution both make a great chargepipe.
Hey Bryan.👋 I just binge-watched most of your videos and I don't even own a BMW.😆 Awesome attention to detail, very informative, and to the point. Just call me 18600... you've got my subscription, brother.👍 All the best to you and yours in 2018, sir. Have a great day.✌
f10 528i n20, hard to find mods and when i do they charge pipe has no instructions so i guess when i do the CAI box upgrade i will have to visualize the couplers and connections proper fit based on stock plastic BMW GARBAGE PART
please do more F10 DIY's
I have another coming out in maybe a week
Do a downpipe video! Your video rock man.

Catless downpipes video on the f10!
Great video. Intelligently edited.
Thanks, took forever to find a video like this with the exact picture as mine...

Can u guys make a video on a intercooler install?
I will like to know if there are pipes for my 2016 5series 528i xdrive if I want to change mine too
Thanks Kies! Great stuff
I wish some about f06 no love for the 640
Is there any difference between this one and the Vsrf charger pipe And which one would you recommend?
I was able to replace mine without taking apart the stock airbox.
Does the maf sensor rub with hoses in the back ? Shop told me it rubs with the vrsf one I got and might break the sensor
Will this charge pipe work on the 2011 x3 xDrive35i n55 ? Since they have the same engine
Is it necessary to replace the MAF sensor & O-rings with new ones?
De intercooler a admisión,pero.y de turbo intercooler??si no poco va a hacer
Is all f10 n20 and n55 charge pipr location is the same?

interesting video. i was gonna change my chargepipe and boost pipe myself but when i had the car tuned i leaved it to them to install.
It's not that bad of an install, decently quick to do

do i dont need to replace the hole chargepipe?
Can you do a video on turbo to intercooler pipe install
Hi, yep! Stay tuned..
Should i change the boost pipe as well? Or its not mandatory
It’s a good idea to, while you’re there
Why wouldn't you show how it sounds or if/any performance gains , that would have been a key part of the video....
Because they don’t sound different or offer performance.. they’re preventative maintenance. The stock ones crack under pressure..
Yes no gains or sound changes but you should upgrade this before you do anything else. Common for the oem plastic ones to crack.
That engine is filthy jeeze
Jb4 for the f10 installation video?
any jb4 installation for f10?
Do you guys have a decat install video for the n55 engine?
Same process, just with the catless dp.. we have them on www.kiesmotorsports.com
Kies Motorsports superb thanks for the quick reply. I'll go have a look.

What exactly does a charge pipe do and how much hp does it add? I’d get one for mine
F10 please
