mine happened today, the charge pipe on my M235 totally blown up, all kinda malfunctions pop up, drivetrain, transmission, ect.. like a Xmas tree, right on Xmas day 🤣
Man idk why but my charge pipe is very difficult to fit onto my throttle body. Without the o-ring i can get it to fit but with the oring its almost impossible
Mine did not come with a gasket for the O2 sensor and now I look at the website page and the gasket is not part of the kit at all. I need this done asap for a road trip, will I be fucked? Or did they change the design or something?
I ordered the chargepipe but they didn’t include the gasket in my box, only the screws. Would this be a problem? Or should I contact them to send me the gasket?
@@BIMMERLEAGUE My sensor just blew off my charge pipe also. No CEL. Was able to drive it home. I am running a K&N intake and it's also chipped. I appreciate your walk-through as I try to do all my work myself.
I am super curious, I see you replaced the top half of the charge pipe but if I am not mistaken the n55 in the 535i has a second half that is plastic. Why did you not chose to also replace that? Does it not break as often or was it just going to be too much of a hassle?
@@BIMMERLEAGUE got an error about too much air, cleared it and drove for 70mi no issues, will restore the ring tomorrow, these cars are built better than the whiners say

Am I right in assuming the attachment thingy you speak of at the 5 minute minute marker becomes redundant when installing the new charge pipe?

@@BIMMERLEAGUE i have a VRSF one from ecstuning. I cant get it flush enough for the metal clip to lock into place.

Unfortunately you’d have to swap out the whole line. It should have a part number printed on?
How do you know when it needs replacing?
When it blows lol if you’re planning on running more power I would upgrade the charge pipe
