Upgraded the charge pipe on my '17 F15. I feel its a good upgrade mostly for increased reliabilty more than anything

So we’re connecting aluminum to plastic? The aluminum charge pipe does ny connect all the way to the intercooler ?
i bought the vrsf charge pipe used and it only came with the chart pipe and the clamps, do u think it will still work with the oem bolts and without the green thingy ?

Mines didn’t come with the green gasket between the MAP sensor
Thank you for the video. It has helped me a lot.. I have a 2016 BMW 535i Xdrive and tried to install VRSF charge pipe, however having difficulty in pushing the charge pipe on to the intake. I have it almost like you have in your video 9:52. How much force did you have to put to have it go all the way on intake ?
Sorry I never saw this post. But it takes a lot of force to get it on im sure you learned
I have an e70 x5 and I had to climb on top of the engine to really force it in.
Get rid of the top of the square filter box and filter and get the blue Burger cold air intake filter for $180.
Hi I just ran into a problem I broke the vacuum line plastic trying to put it back on 😮💨 I’m been looking for the hose or vacuum line online but I can’t find do you know where can I get this part?
I am not sure honestly but if you check realoem.com you can search for all the components. They will usually be named something ridiculous but if you use key words to describe what the part does you should be able to find the assembly diagram that points out the specific component. I do know BMW does not call this a charge pipe so don’t even bother trying to search that. Once you locate the part number check google and then eBay to locate the part
I just installed mine from RvgPerformance. And the part where the pipe connects to the throttle body is where I struggled. I thought I had it all the way in. I started driving and then heard a buzzing noise, and sure enough it came out. Maybe I didn’t force it in hard enough?

@@hypefosure235 Yes, you gotta push it all the way in. Mine wasn’t in all the way. It’s not easy but you gotta use force.
He made this shit look way too easy. Putting it on the throttle body is hard AF
Agreed. I have the ECS tuning charge pipe and spent an hour so far without luck. Can connect the throttle body side or the intercooler side but not both. There’s no damn room.

What about the lower charge pipe? You are replace like 35% of the total charge pipe
They aren’t as prone to breaking like this one
What is the part number for the vacuum line?? curious mine faded away

Hey guys, just put my VRSF cp on my 2015 f10 N55, followed your directions, all went well, but for some reason I can’t get the cp up tight onto the engine enough for the c clamp to catch the groove, any suggestions? Did you have that problem?
what did u end up doing to solve it? i’m having same problem right now
I ended up rubbing some oil lube all around the area, then just wiggled the cp back and forth while using as much force as possible. Keep the c clamp mostly on so you can just pop it down when you get it. It works, good luck!
One last question when you added the charge pipe did you have a downpipe already ? And a muffler delete ??
MR. CM I have a muffler delete but no downpipe yet. Putting the downpipe in next week video will be out in a few

Charge pipe is not a power mod. Its a realibility mod

I ordered the chargepipe but they didn’t include the gasket in my box, only the screws. Would this be a problem? Or should I contact them to send me the gasket?

Get the right angle and push with a passion. There is no right technique besides using both hands and standing near the driver tire pulling the charge pipe onto the throttle body

@@EastCoastGarage cuz I installed mine on the same car and It doesn’t whistle like yours at least I don’t think, maybe because I haven’t heard it on the outside like how you recorded at the end
@@AdamKyleMastery yeah being outside you hear much more. But also don’t forget the interocoler and charge pipe ramps up the air flow. It’s only gotten louder since DV+, tune, and air intake

Its far less complicates because you have more room to work in the F15. Did mine last week

Wach 172 sorry mic was off when we got an engine bay recording of the pipe. Thought we made up for it with the revs in the clips both in the begging and end of the video. You can clearly hear the wooshing from the turbo.

If you are not adding boost do you need this?
Not necessarily however with time plastic is knows to become fragile and break easily. It’s a $200 fix that would save your engine in the long term
