@@M_u_t_e96024 hey bro wasn’t really expecting to see your kind of text on this channel about fishing in the amazon but anyways not trying to judge but just going off of your picture which I’m guessing is some kind of symbol about satan, I can clearly see that he has you bound by something and can damage the mind/thoughts and can take you to some pretty dark places/thoughts so I just want to real quick tell you about the light of Christ Jesus who heals not just physically but most importantly “spiritually” who also through His sinless life and His death and resurrection has conquered over satan and the demons that constantly harass and turn people away from the everlasting light/life. Jesus paid the whole debt of sin/evil once and for all through His death/resurrection He gives us eternal life and the Holy Spirit who cleanses us and gives us a pure/heart/mind and can conquer any battles that we face here on earth and will one day be in Paradise/Heaven who will wipe away every tear from our faces for us who repent and believe the gospel of Christ Jesus who demonstrated the greatest act of love for us, in that while we were still yet sinners, Christ died for us, taking what we deserve “our punishment upon Himself” and gives us His perfect righteousness so that we could approach God on judgement day in perfect righteousness that was all so because of the infinite love of God for you! I pray you seek after the God of the Bible who is the Lord and Savior!
I am a sixty year old grandmother , and now I want to go on a Columbian fishing trip! I could feel your excitement! Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
This genuinely doesn’t seem real! The depth of the water, the amazing color, the isolation, the nature, the color of the fish. It’s all so primal and amazing!
My husband RIP was a hunter but our agreement was a lake or river needed to be close to a hunting lease so I could fish. He found the perfect place for him and me. It had a lake that hadn't been fiished in years. We machetted in and saw a sunken dock. This was my spot for years. So many big bass, crappy and catfish I could stock my freezer. Great video!! Great memories.
Nice, I got mine in Miami but I live in Brazil and always go to Amazon. It is a really unthinkable experience. Everyone should go there one day in life.
Growing up in South Florida and fishing for any fish in the waters. Peacock Bass have always been my favorite to catch & release. Congratulations on your trip , that's so awesome. Thank you for sharing it with us. ✌️
Just listening to the dialogue on the boat and seeing those giant Peacock hit and break the surface... And hey, missing that 20lb Peacock just gives you another reason to head back someday and try again! Seems like a trip worth doing over.
I caught some small peacock bass when I lived in Florida.. they're a beautiful fish and a blast to catch. Looks like you have too many people in the boat though lol. Nah as long as y'all are comfortable and having fun keep it up.
Hey buddy just to let you know, a 8-20lb rated rod is not ultralight, not even close. An ultralight rod is usually rated 2-8 maximum. The Shimano Convergence probably is a medium to medium heavy actually... Also you'll never get that 18lb fish so quickly to the boat with an ultralight. Great video!!!
hey man love the, im from Guyana, a country in South America. We catch these same fish just we don't get the big breeds of peacock bass(lukanani). Just wanted to say that and the 'amazon baracuda' is what we call dogfish.
When I went to Florida man the biggest bass I got was 16 pounds I had a picture of me with my fists going in its mouth without touching my fist . I was 18 in Florida with my uncle rip .. Rex a true legend in my time he loved snook fishing in waiters on the river there by port st Lucy . By the bait shop . But ya we would target red fish and snook … well I asked them if there was bass fishing I am 36 now so it was a awhile ago but ya I asked that and then they took me and it blew my mind the size difference in the bass there in Florida and the bass here in Oregon. Truly monsters .! And those bass in Columbia wow 😮 ..!! Now I wanna go there 😅 so bad
Ryan thanks for taking us on this adventure with u! I was just thinking...I haven't had a notification from u in a minute and here it is! What a great video. Beautiful♡
I fished at the manaka lodge in Venezuela near the Rio Negro and Orinoco rivers...... A group that came into the jungle after us got kidnapped by FARC. Be careful. But the fishing was awesome! Peacock Bass, Payara, Piranaha.....back in the mid 90's.
@@AdolphZeugner-u3tbruh that’s the reel not the rod two completely different things . 3000 reel just means the size of it and how much line you can hold on it.
dude right I was cringing every-time he casted lmao. imagine if he hooked a fish and got tangled in the other guys line and cost him his dream fish. like just wait the 3 minutes it took the guy to reel it in 😂
Would love to fish for peacocks in Columbia. I'm from Miami originally and fishing here in Oklahoma can be so much tougher than my time in Florida. Peacocks are my favorite such beautiful fish
It is an absolute blessing to be able to share this adventure with you all. Check out our most recent Amazon adventure and let me know what you think!🙏
Just successfully stocked some in my pond in SWFL. Such a fun, beautiful fish. I will always say that a 4 pound peacock fights like a 10 pound largemouth. Can’t imagine a 24 pounder lol
I fish the Great Lakes and catching Great Lakes smallmouth bass on light action rods is the most fishing fun - they fight like crazy and never want to give up - great video, great fishing!
Will 5 grand cover a fishing trip like yours, when you pumped up that soccer ball for the kids was PRICELESS, it's nice to see time were money is worthless, thanks for sharing such an epic trip
That's awesome I love fishing. I live in LA and go bluefin fishing from San Diego a few times a year. There's nothing like that huge hook up! I'm glad you had fun.
I know a place in the United States somewhat similar. It’s called duhernal old bridge NJ. That place is a swamp lake connected to 4 other ponds confined in the woods of old bridge spots wood. Total privacy. This water way hasn’t really been fished hard in 20 some years. Giant Pickerel, Giant Bass. Crappie, Perch white and yellow. Giant bullheads. Giant els. Lots of deer snakes ducks & occasional lizard and alligator. Ice fishing is good on the pond adjacent to route 516. The deep stand alone pond. The 3 ponds on the back side are or were dead. The middle pond was great at one time. 80s early 90s. The main spot is the main lake and the deep pond on the opposite side of the access road across from the main lake.
