Thanks for the video! My copy showed up earlier this week and I have been playing on the Pocket. It's great for playing on the go as I hoped. Not perfect, no. I agree with the awkwardness of the bumper controls and some humming noise with BO at times. But both play better than I thought they would. I still have both for PS3 which covers my large format needs but it's great to have portable and especially physical copies of these classics.
Actually sounds as though it plays better than I would have expected. Great video as always and keep up the awesome work!
Still having a great time with the first game but too dark too frequently for my eyes to play on either handheld! Second one seems okay on EXP from what I’ve played so far but imagine it’s a battery killer, and the shoulder buttons are too awkward here on top, so I’ll be sticking to VS for this cart I reckon!
My copy is scheduled to arrive Monday. I have a VS and SP so will try both. Pre-ordered an EXP-R so still waiting for that...

I bet Soul Reaver looks closer to the Dreamcast version being that small lol. And yeah I'm one for constantly centering the camera by pressing both left & right bumpers on VS so I can see that being slight problem on the pockets. Thanks for sharing! 👍

Ah the control foibles from 6th gen. It was Ocarina that sorted those out with Z targeting (which doubled up as a camera centering button) and a single button push to enter "look around" mode. Control schemes were the wild west back then. I'm a little interested in this cart for the first game, I have Soul Reaver 1&2 on Steam. Love Silicon Knights audio and voice acting, Eternal Darkness is one of my AT favourite horror games. May the rats eat your eyes.
