I’m pretty sure every pond in this area has trout, I’ve caught them in the most random places, not sure how they even get there or survive. Any ideas?
Trout are interesting fish I have caught brook trout in water that’s not even 5 inches deep they can survive almost anywhere as long as it’s cool for a good amount of the year and for how they got there they might have stocked them at some point or the eggs get attached to the birds and fall off when the birds go there

I remember going fishing for the first time and I got a yellow perch. That was beauty, wish I can fish more. Cause I am a young fisher, but that was a beautiful one, oh my goodness, forgot what lake it was but it had tons of fish, I was with my group and one of them caught a turtle! But the put the turtle back for obvious reasons. 😅 but that was the best experience of my life!

7/3/87 Starting to get into some bass fishing... right now we have a bunch of smallmouth spots around me... I enjoy fishing for not only the catching, but also the relaxing aspect
