- This is one of the best baits for multi species fishing because every species of fish like it. So today we’re putting it to the test on the Mississippi River, seeing how many different species of fish we can catch. We’re doing walleye fishing on the Mississippi River, pike fishing on the Mississippi River, smallmouth bass fishing on the Mississippi river and largemouth bass fishing on the Mississippi River and let’s just say we caught A LOT. NEVER underestimate the power of a simple jig. everyone wants to throw fancy top water baits, rat lures, frog lures, that kind of thing when all you need is a 10 cent jig head and a 10 cent jig to be successful. great video man. way to show us how to crush for cheap

Always use this style of bait for sauger/walleye. Catch a lot of small mouth, Striped, White and Wipers with it, i fish at the dam w it tho, never pond or lake fish. Got my TuTula and St Croix for that
