Yellow Wild charge also acts as acceleration bomb (i.e players should not move while getting hit or they explode). Trivial as most of the time people are going to be standing still for it. Green Wild charge I think knocks back based on your character's current facing if you are not using knockback resistance. Regarding 4:46 with the remaining two orbs - Yellow and Yellow is a possible combination. Stand between the two orbs or in line N/S.
Correction - Fizzing Suds + Slippery Slope (yellow line stack) will apply a debuff that will result in small AoEs that go off at the same time the boss' cross AoE goes off.
"the bleed aoe which i didnt mention cuz its nbd" Me, the healer, trying to keep my party alive through that shit while we prog and are already half dead: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Edit: great guide though! Helped clear up some of the stuff we hadn't figured out during our own blind prog. Looks like we managed to make it a little over halfway through the fight though woo
Hahahahahahaha I am sorry! Whats we found out tho, if you have a big enough shield, that the aoe deals 0 damage, the bleed will not Even apply! Useful info if you are on sage/scholar/astro or you have a warrior/paladin! On whitemage you might be able to pevent it on a single person with divine benison and aquaveil 🤔 But yes, people dont appreciate us healers 🥺
It's easier, IMO, with Green boss and intercardinals to take yellows to cardinals and blues to edge. And it doesn't matter which edge, just one of them. Either way, it misses the middle.
@@akio2589 Yeah makes sense, I usually dont think about that stuff, when the goal is just to clear asap, but the more we do it the more optimization we shall find. Especially since how the Savage version is set up, I would highly highly suggest going only for the safest strats possible and ignore uptime at all cost, as 1 wipe will reset the entire dungeon. Sometimes its worth it, sometimes its not 😆
@@AqB I s'pose I operate under the mantra you can't wipe if it's dead. Course, I'm a RDM main, so distance isn't generally an issue for me. Still, putting them at cardinals, at least for the runs I've been in is generally pretty safe. If anything kills us, it's usually a misplaced blue.
if you want melee uptime for ice cardinal puff tethers: ice out to walls, lightning to the clockwise wall. max melee intercards across from the lightning puffs are safe. no need to force everyone to disengage.
My groups solves were Green Boss+Cards: West Yellow pull west, Rest pull east Green Boss+Inter: Yellows to corners, Blues perpendicular to corners Blue Boss+Cards: South Yellow pull west, Rest pull east Blue Boss+Inter: All pull SE Keeps the patterns fairly similar regardless of lollipop orientation
I like your solves too actually, they basically break down to simply: Green Boss = Yellow away from Boss, Blue perpendicular to Boss Blue Boss = Away from Boss Easy calls are best calls :D
Thanks for the guide, this will be really useful for later. I tired in PF last night and we got to the 8 lollipop spawns but kept losing it after that. Hopefully I can clear this one and start the next boss later! Can’t wait.
It is not a "stack" in the usual sense. You can see me and Monk take 0 damage from it, because the Wildcharge has to be dragged through every player, you have to be the last in line. So essentially he shared the damage only with the tank.
Yup, in Savage however, no rezzes at all and once all 4 members are deadge, you start from the VERY BEGINNING! So you have to oneshot the entire Dungeon. (Trash is stronger tho)
I didn’t want to have to do this, but after a number of DF attempts tonite- I am NOT going to wait for the people in DF to figure it out. Hell there were two groups that just did wipe after wipe and never even discussing mechanics. I always get so deflated after new content like this drops, because PF and DF are just such dead ends for the first week. I mean hell, Unreal Seph is still unbeatable in PF if you aren’t able to join Duty Complete groups
Mind you Squeenix intended this to be clearable in PF though matchmaking, what they forgot however is that no every FF player is a Japanese/Korean God. So naturally Criterion dungeons will stay exclusive to the vast majority of casual players.
@Justin yeah since the amount of deaths is limited, the dps checks cannot vary as much. Except you eat a bazilion damage downs, bosses should always die around the same time.
Not to say this guide wasn't useful, but why not make the diagram for each pattern like you did for the last one using diagrams instead of showing povs? It's much clearer to look at a diagram than a pov, as a pov is often limited by the camera. It'd be much more easier to visualize than actually having to remember spoken words. Also you completely reversed the colors in the last diagram: the yellow doesn't strike cardinals like yours shows (it does intercardinal cleaves) and the blue strike cardinals (not inter as you shown). You should think about remaking this honestly. I understand the need to be first in putting out content, but it has to be at least double checked. Especially since it's intended to help people and not confuse them even further.
If you drag the lolipops diagonally, like in the last diagram you change their oriantation diagonally, making the blue ones cleave intercardianlly and the yellows change to cardinal due to how orientation works. The graph is 100% correct, but thank you for your concerns. True, I could make graphs for absolutely everything, but I dont want to leave out in game footage at all and I dont want a guide to a fight that is 4 and a half minutes long to be 20 minutes, so I decide to do graphs for some things and game footage for other things, so that there is a good mix of both. If you learn better from one of those than the other, thats good for you personally, but people usually want different things so I like to have it mixed up a bit. I appreciate your concerns tho, even if they are based on false interpretations for the diagram.
If you want to do optimized runs to log or something similar, yes my guide is not for you 😄I care about melee uptime in fights where melee uptime is needed, because there is an actual dps check (spoiler alert: not the case here). My guides are just there to get the clear as fast as possible and you dont need 100% melee uptime for that.
Parsing literally doesn't matter in extreme level content. And the only time it does matter is when you are not doing enough dps to meet a dps check and you need to improve.
I appreciate your guide, but please consider re-recording your lines. There isn't any reason for stuttering or um/uh to remain in your recordings for videos because you have complete freedom to repeat yourself and redo the line before you dub it over the final video. It's kind of distracting and is so easy to fix that I don't understand why you wouldn't. I sympathetise as someone with a more prominent stutter in everyday speech, which I can't do anything about, but you can fix it for yourself here, so why not?

The item level privilege is strong in this guide... "The bleed is no big deal" lmao
Wait.... Item level plays a role in this? I thought everyone is synced up to 630?????
Great job on this video. Started a linkshell called Mythic Plus and referenced your vid after we did some blind attempts. A really fun fight.
Helpful diagrams. Thanks.
why did trhe dancer die to the dash at 4:15 ? you were stacked but he died

How do you mitigate the bleed from Total wash?
Just back like a boss and have mitigation up before the bleed is applied, reprisal, shield samba etc

Is called having gshade installed xD which is a enb injector with various preset to make the game's color more vivid and textures sharper.
It's called gshade if you're interested to install it (there's even an old statement from squeenix saying that it's safe to use)
No difference in mechs between Another and Savage?
Nope, Savage version bosses have the same Mechanics, you just cant rezz and start from the beginning once you wipe! Bosses work exactly the same tho.
