Flight Simmer VS Boeing 737 | Can I Land It?

- Can I Land a Boeing 737 first time? Watch this video to find out! I really hope you enjoy this rather long video of me putting my skills to the test in FlyAFlight's CAA Approved Boeing 737-800 fixed simulator. This was previously used by the airlines, so it is as good as it gets! I take three flights: A circuit around Nice, Manchester-Dublin and Manchester-Liverpool, It was amazing to see the progress made by each flight and by the end of it I got the hang of it! I hope you enjoy this and the editing pays off!

Who can spot the stupid blooper with Nice airport!
I reckon those buildings to the south are a bit close. Are they even there irl?
Awsome flying studd! Well done!
you forgot the reversers when landing in dublin
Awesome your amazing
Eeeeeoooooooow😂😂😂😂
Totally fabulous - well done. Seeing the 737 cockpit has me drooling for a 737 release in MFS 2020. Really impressive.
Yeah dude, a few months ago I got the chance to go up to the cockpit on a real 737-800. It really got me hyped for the PMDG, I do hope it releases soon but also I know they will take their time to make sure it is the best aircraft and that it doesn't release with many bugs. The 737 is an amazing aircraft and it will be great to have the chance to fly something unique like that in the flight sim, so far the only airliners I am flying normally are the A320 and the CRJ700/500.
Outstanding job on the final one! Smooth as butter! I really appreciate him reminding you to "fly it, don't flare it", as the urge to flare just before touchdown is definitely there.
Next time make the instructor in the right seat retract the gear when he says "positive rate" and you say "Gear up". :) I am glad you got to do that. Was that a full motion sim?
No sadly it was fixed base but still a lot of fun, hope you enjoyed!
This is by far the best video you’ve ever done, loved it!👍
Thanks Robert! Glad you enjoyed it!!
I been in that simulator today!!! In the same place! It was awesome!! Hope you had a good time I give this the highest review!!!
Can´t imagine what it´s like! Good for you, man
Awesome, looking forward to it
This is so cool I remember when my cousin took my into a F-18 fixed simulator and it was the coolest thing ever
I did similar down at Shoreham a few years ago. It's amazing the difference between the 737 and A320. The 737 you have to "fly!" You'll be grinning for weeks. Well done
that't one thing I always do in my desktop sim. I change the default camera so that I'm not in the center of the instruments, but in between the 2 rudder pedals, 'cause I want to fly a real plane, and negative reinforcement can't possibly be good...
Your first landing looks like every single one of my landings XD XD XD
😂😂😂
That’s the same as flight Sim, it’s not a full CAT D Full Motion Sim. Great experience none the less.
True although it’s very different to your run of the mill desktop sim! Maybe I’ll have get a full motion one booked soon!
It's exactly the same as your 'CAT D Full Motion Sim', just without the motion. It was a prototype used by Ryanair for training and a lot of companies prefer fixed based simulator applications nowadays.
The feedback from the controls of the full motion sim makes a big difference also between flightsim and a full motion simulator.
WOW, CANT WAIT TO SEE IT :)
Great stuff. As a xplane11 zibo flyer id love to try this. Especially cold and dark.. Got yourself a subscriber!!!
Awesome very nice landing the last one keep it up
Amazing, you did well 👌👍🤩
How much did that adventure cost? It looked like loads of fun
Lucky you! I am waiting to go on an A320 sim
i pray for please.
yesssssss finally great job!
I really love this channel!
That’s excellent. Well done to you.
Very cool. You did great!
awesome !! your best video yet thanks for sharing .
Thanks so much Vito!
Wow we so nice, well done mate 👍
thanks pilot u performed well keep up
Great work keep it.
xplane graphics are not very good ;p , well done, what were the main differences you found (even though it was fixed sim)
It's P3D!
My man idle at 10
Just remember if in doubt control E
This is amazing!
Thanks!! Glad you enjoy :)
Cool video
I will go in a simulator too! But it will be an a320
awsome
So the answer to the title would be yes, correct? Can a flight simmer land a plane? Yes?
yeah aflight simmer can but depends on how long he has been flight simming. atwo day flight simmer would crush badly.
@@captsonko.9345 yea i figure someone that practiced with yoke, rudder, atc with vatsim, etc. At the very least im guessing 6 months of practice.
What simulator is being used for this 737 cockpit?
Im so jealous of you rn.
If only you could pair that with Msfs 2020 graphics...
Cool
Captain Studd 👍🙏🏻👨✈️
where is this? I want to try it too, obviously you are in Uk.
Link is in the description :)
Fly A Flight in Leighton Buzzard and the reason why I know that is because I work there as one of the instructors. 😃
@@danieldoyle2080 so thats near me, cool.
Wow lucky sod.
Taking the same title of the greatflyer one HAHAHAHAHAAH LOLLLL
The title is somewhat similar tbf as it’s the same subject and there’s not really a better way to word it but the video is totally different! 😂😉
pog
The whole duration of the flight is a disaster because the aircraft is a Boeing
😂😂😂 I guess you’re an airbus fan! I’m hoping to try one out soon!
Nice
What’s with the masks??
Filmed during the height of covid sadly! Haven’t warn a mask pretty much since, thank God!
@@PilotStudd. Anyway, you did well.
What sim engine does the simulator run on?
P3D V4 + Project Magenta
