Reate is pretty outrageous in that they can put out such high quality builds, with intricate details, at this price point. I always wonder about the working conditions over there, but they're so consistently good that you have to think their workers must be compensated fairly.
Yes they are a large manufacturer that has real Artisans, I've spoken with other companies about them.
This one will be a best seller. Reate has done it again. Everything is nice on this knife.

Haha yeah as soon as you seen it you knew straight away how and where it was to be used 🤔 give me a second while i just stop myself from calling bull💩 on that one, of course as soon as you seen it you knew exactly where it was to be placed on the knife and that it was a clockwise thread or anti clockwise or just a simple bracing tool that held a hidden screw fitting in place so it didn’t move as you used a torx’s bit to undo it. Come on @Lonewolf2873 when is your next psychic reading being done.
@@SkunkPunch73 Dude, just because YOU don't have mechanical aptitude, doesn't mean others don't. Look at the tool, it has a pin sticking out, which if you were educated, you'd know it's a spanner wrench. Now how do you use a spanner wrench...ding ding ding. It takes 2 seconds to look at the tool and look at knife, its VERY obvious.
Half the damn reviewers are completely ignorant, just pay attention. 100% of the channels I watch use blue loctite, which is the wrong product. It even tells you on the product, and they still don't know. That's ONE of many many things. I just laugh over here watching.
I immediately recognized the spanner wrench and the corresponding place on the knife to use it too. Ignore that other guy commenting "bs" lol.

Very cool and interesting, very clean look, definatly would consider it a gent knife with a clean and somewhat classy look to it. Like the hollow grind and the blade shape is great for EDC. Interesting hardware is always cool to see and props for including the tool instead of charging a separate price for it. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

Coolest knife in a while..all rounded, no screws, recessed "vertebra" handle spine is super cool!
Rounded spine on blade and handle cut-outs take it over the top! All the machining is INSANE!!!
Also…the assembly design & mechanism just make it SICK! The hidden screws on the lock bar, just WOW!

Good-looking knife. I thought initially that those rounded edges was too Mazda Miata, but I like the gill-like, vent-like milling on the scales and spacer. That broken-nose tip is cool, too.

Finally got the Kubey titanium atlas and it’s awesome Jared . Kubey warrants the materials for life but I don’t see any issues coming . It came perfect out of the box , no case with this one unfortunately from Amazon but grey and silver instead of blue S35VN . This Atlas is way good . I know I m late to it but idc , it’s a good one . Good eye on the stop pins in your review . They’re just big enough . They ll be fine but beefier ones to match would have been better . Yeah man this sucker is nice . It’s up there with the $250-$300 knives easily .

I saw Artisan has a cool one called Valor Ferum forge design and it look to be very very cool but everyone is sold out except for artisan where it’s considerably more expensive . Has anyone seen them at the dealers lately ? I checked wmk and knife center already.

Mmm a very nice neat number from Reate fair play, i like the body screw although I wouldn’t like to see how much fuss it might be if you was a bit heavy handed and killed the threads off on it, in the sense of how much messing about it would take trying too get a replacement. I’m already a bit of a over tightening fiend as it is never mind with a nifty little tool/spanner. Have a beautiful day J&K stay safe and healthy both 😘👍🏼

I still like it, its a great edc knife, I will say that I wish the lockbar was a bit more comfortable that's my main issue that hasn't changed

Looking at picking one up, how’s the pocket clip? You can have a perfect knife but if it doesn’t go in and out of pocket it can ruin a knife for me.

I don’t understand why you edited out the reassembly if it wasn’t difficult? Those are things viewers are interested in especially with something that needs a special tool for takedown.

I might be in the minority here, but all I see if knife aids, aka unnecessary holes in the scales that provide a point of ingress for debris and make cleaning harder. Hard pass for me.

They tried to bring the tip down a little but the blade must have put up a good fight again 😌 . I prefer the tips middle of the road or lower unless it’s a tanto . What the heck is with these upturned blades ? I ll see a cool ass knife and then , not all the time , the blade tip or even the whole blade is going up like a ramp ? I understand what it’s cutting purpose is for . Am I the only person this bothers ?

Absolutely beautiful knife. Too bad these are made in China and are obviously over priced. I’ll stick with Protech and others AM companies if I am dropping that kind of money. Maybe Reate could use all that revenue they are making and open a machine shop up in the USA. Being that I am a machinist myself and it’s a dying trade. I guess not in China. 😑
