Hi, just finished watching your video. In Hindu culture, anything that's been used in worship rituals(poojas) of god cannot be thrown away in trash, it must always be submerged in a body of water. It seems that those rags and beetle nuts were used in poojas and later submerged in water. Maybe they were submerged together with the Ganesh idol after Ganesh festival.
what is a poojas?
@@noradanny1 worship = pooja
Santa dropped his stash.
You'll find an endless things in the river. That's where people throw their trash.
Great 👌.Viewer from Pakistan.
Hi Jeremy. Merry Post Christmas. I'm reading a few comments from people of the Hindu Faith. They're saying the red cloth is a garment worn in rituals, & the enclosed items are things used in those rituals. They cannot be tossed in the trash. Only submerged in water. So those are someone's important ritual items. Interesting, isn't it?
Do you also remove the trash you find?
I do.
Ever come across snakes under water ? Would freak me out
You are so lucky because you found a statue of lord Ganesh and do you want to know that how they get their OK I will say it a festival Indian people celebrate what they do is they get a statue of lord Ganesh and throw it in the sea
After a festival called Ganesh Chaturthi, hindus leave the Ganesh statue and all the things user in the prayer in the river. Which should be left there.
I would leave it there, but at the end of the day, it's litter in the river.
@@exploringwithnug It's a religious offering, really should leave it, but it is your call.
@@john1million agreed
@@BigLisaFan I say leaving it would be best. Like taking coins from a wishing well.
I say leave it. Could put a curse on you.
You are not only finding interesting and cool items but you are also helping to create a better environment thank you for your services💗
The reason, you keep finding jars of change, and those religious statues. Is because people are making offering to their god or gods or goddesses.
Agreed. I’d like to learn what’s the story behind the jars of pennies though. You know, in more detail. Would be some cool knowledge.

Hinduism practices, include throwing wooden statues of their Gods and Goddesses, that they are making a prayer to. Into a river with their sacrifice to the Deity for their prayer to work. Now a days it is common to sacrifice jars sealed with coin money. Throwing them into the river, after you throw in the statues, and have prayed.
Unreal finds man congrats!!
Now this is something authentic that I've got to see till date.
The red bundle seems to be a part of Indian ritual that Indians throw away in water🤔
Absolutely correct. Seeing the red bundle with golden tassels I knew it was something to do Hindu Indians.
Hope you are removing the trash as well as the valuables, amazing what’s down there.
I was thinking that myself
I hope so too!
It’s Santa’s bag he dropped it delivering presents to all the kids one night , that’s why some kids don’t get gifts on Christmas. It’s a SAD thing.
LOL! I should have titled it different. Santa lost his bag in the river. HAHA!!
To much egenog
Search for Ganesha Visarjan.... You found idol of lord ganesha in red clothes. I easily recognized it coz i am familiar.
Okay. I’ll look into it
Niug. What is the one thing you need most to help you continue doing what you do to help people

You are doing a great job . enjoyed watching and to same extent you are saving marine life's ❤️
Pessoas q trabalho bonito vcs estão fazendo mil parabéns ❤️👏
Do you take the rest of the rubbish you find under the water to the trash...or do you leave it in the water..?....i would like to know if your cleaning the bottom of the water of all the harmfull things to marine life as you go along..thank you for shareing it was very interesting to watch..hope all is well.🌻😁
Yes. I pick up what I can
Hey man I love your video ... They are great and fun....
I am from India.
And as an Indian let me tell you this.... Whenever you find something covered in red cloth and thrown in water "YOU NEVER PICK IT UP!! "
First of all it will never have anything valuable in it.
Secondly you will always find some random lemons ,beetle nuts and coconuts in it ... Never mess with them.
It's considered to be a bad omen.
Why didn’t you keep that white and blue pottery bowl it looks like it was antique or very old and might have been worth money
That current looks pretty fast great job as always buddy
Right under the bridge in that channel it is pretty fast. Nothing dangerous though. Just a fun ride.
What a great video your a scuba diving god. (Nugallmyt)
OOOOOOO!!!! That's borderline trademark infringement. I will stick with good ole NUG!!!
Why does everyone have to put obnoxious music on the videos?
Cause they suck. Luckily my music is awesome
Hindu persons make offerings to rivers because it gives them food and prosperity. Common items are a bread of sorts, salt, prayer flags, coconut shells and money. There is another offering involving divorce or when spouse is caught being adulteress. Not sure on details but when I find out I will let you know.
I've seen lot's of coconut shells also. I never understood that one until now. Thanks.
The rags in the pouch you found were most likely used to decorate or clean the spot where we keep our Hindu god statues, like Ganesh and more, for daily prayers...
Apparently its considered a bad omen/inauspicious to throw out anything related to god in the trash (i.e, statues, rags, photos, books, and even rice, grains and the betel nuts you found, and other things too). They should only be submerged into rivers, preferably a holy river.
I don't know too much about it even though I'm Hindu, but then again I'm not that religious... This is something I remember my mom telling me as kid.
If you happen to find a brass pot/urn wrapped in the same type of red cloth as this pouch, you might want to put it back. Those would be ashes...
Sorry for the long comment, just though you should know...
Disappointed that all was in the big red bag ,was a lot of material, bummmer, was hoping for something interesting,oh well, win some, lose some, still a great day and weather was good too, bye!!!!!!!
The red cloth belongs to hindu community , we leave sacred things in river as per ancient texts.
That’s what I figured….
Why?
We can't throw sacred things any where , we believe that every river is goddess like our Ganges . So it's the best resting place for all sacred things where nobody can easily find and remove it.
@Syhar ASMR it's not rugs , it's the cloths used on God's at the pooja occasion , along with beetle nuts. We can't use gods cloths for our self. Idiot will call it as rugs.
it's nothing to take with rich and rugs.
You need to read Bhagwat Gita instead of Quran where you get 72 girls for enjoyment and satisfaction.
I understand why you do it but don’t throw stuff in the waterways. It’s not cool.
This bag is from India Hinduism culture don't through in garbage this is our spiritual thing please
Sounds good

I'd definitely see if any of the phones are tied to any crimes. If that's even possible!
Solving the change shortage one jar at a time.
I was kind of thinking that or along those lines. Have a great day
That spot is an endless treasure hunt!
Yup. I could dive there for years and find amazing lost stuff. I'm gonna start using a metal detector to see what's buried under the mud eventually.
@@exploringwithnug I hope you did that!
Dude, Verizon needs to be sued for the amount of phones in the river.....
Perhaps a old man kept his money hid in that spot? My great grand parents always kept change in jars
Well he needs to start loading up some bottles of silver dollars. Just saying.
In south india, esp in kerala, it's a ritual ( a pooja) to exorcise bad energy that cause troubles and obstacles in one's life. The sandalwood ganesh idol and a few coins/ silver, pooja things etc arev tied in red silk and thrown in water without looking back. Nobody is supposed to untie or take those things back since it's considered inauspicuous. Since outside communities don't believe in such things, no harm done here!
This may be creepy. But interesting. Sandra Snyman( as Grace of zS.Africa
We can see this red clothes in India mainly in temples for poojas
You find Ganesha Idol you are Very Lucky 🙏
You need to pick up garbage like Jake does

Hi am new I just watched two of ur videos. Do u take the trash out as well ?? Nice founds in ur videos.
I do. Thanks for watching
The stuff you find you leave it there or do you actually pick it up and put it in the garbage?
I actually pick it up. I got a bag that I carry with me to put trash in
Am new n just looked at two videos n it looks like he leaves it in the water. ???
@@cassyfofana7805 I’m curious. Do you guys think I have some magical way to pick up every single piece of trash I come across? Be realistic. I have a bag I carry that I put some trash in but I can’t every piece. I do what I can.
Hi sorry if u miss Understood what I was saying . I was only asking if u did ive only watched two videos of ur so far n there Pretty cool . Have a Blessed Night.

The red bag was made by someone from the Hindus

Maybe that would come from India 🇮🇳
This box like Indian culture
There is lot's of hindu activity in this river so maybe.
Exploring with Nug
Yeah bro I know about
Because I am a hindu ☺️
I was relieved that all that was in that bag was rags. Could have been any number of bad things. LOL.
My first thought was a head
@@CatToyLady I was thinking a dead pet.
I was thinking the same things.
Wow. Could you imagine if it was a head. That would be end game for probably.
Call me crazy( you won't be the first or last) but I love all the stuff you find. Some may say it's junk, but it's cool because you found it in river. I found a piece 🧩 f broken glass. It was deep red,but I thought it was cool. Finders keepers. Keep up the good work
Wow u found Ganesha idol
Its related to India 🤩🤩
Yeah they are everywhere too.
if you find a zte zmax with a good screen let me know. Great video as always.
I'll keep an eye out for ya.
Whats been the most histrionic piece you've ever found and was it worth anything?and did it have a profound meaning to you in any way shape or form
The cellphone could be help in an unsolved crime good Job Bud!💛💛💛💛🕵️
I hope you clean the waters of trash too. Please?
You need a bigger bag for stuff 😱
Yeah it’s hard to carry one in a current
why do you always find hindu/buddhist stuff lol
It's a very popular spot for the hindu community. They have rituals around this area all the time. That's what I've heard at least.
@@exploringwithnug ah ok. Nice clean up work buddy 👍
I have a question do you bring the stuff you find out of the water or leave it I'm new to your channel
I bring out what I can. I have a bag I carry with me for trash and treasures
I don't know why you're finding jars of coins... is there some use?
Are they used as weights or something?
It has something to do with religious beliefs
@@exploringwithnug Okay. Thanks!
Are you removing the garbage from the water or just picking treasure ?
I am. I’ll show it more in my future videos so everyone knows I’m doing my part
Either way he's taking stuff out that would pollute
Malcolm Gorrie FACTS!!!! 😁
You found a statue of God Ganesha, and that was more valuable than anything you found ever. God is with you.😍
I am indian and these is ganesh stachu 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That’s a lot of burner phones!!!
Apparently throwing them in the river is the thing to do with junk phones.
I was so worried you were gonna find a body part or case of animal cruelty in the bag, so glad it was just a random bunch of cloths. I wonder if that's some kind of religous offering?
I know it's only a matter of time before I find something in a bag or box that I will regret finding.
That’s Santa’s bag you found
I hope you're cleaning up the rivers you dive rather than leaving all that rubbish there.
The amount of crap that finds its way into our waterways is appalling.
You sure found a wide variety of stuff this time and more penny’s!!!!!!!
I bet I can find jars of pennies everytime I go here. Who ever is doing this has been doing it for a while.
Wow this was fun to watch you finding so many stuff under the water which amazed me. I never thought this can be an epic adventure's video loved it so much and wish to see more from you in the coming days and weeks wish you good luck
Well thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the support
Ohh so I am not the only one who has picking up stuff from ground habit . Well this is underwater ground 🤣.
I knew what would be in that red cloth . That's all the fabric probably used in worshiping and covering God .So some super smart human just dumped it 😤 so irresponsible..only if he knew what worshipping really means
Why didn't you pickup the blue and white bowl? It could be worth money if it has occupied Japan on it.
I used to play under that bridge as a kid

Lord Ganesha found in deep sea
The red bag seems like the remnant of a puja (worship or offering) that Hindus do. The clothes might be of someone deceased. You should have let that be. Who knows what those guys were praying for when they made that offering
No way I found a red bag filled with coins and those nuts in it!! I think it’s a spell
I think you're onto something. Definitely something religious.
Exploring with Nug the wooden balls look the same as the ones in my red cloth will let you know when vid is uploaded so you can see 👍👍
Cool man. I'll check it out. For sure.
Hindus they usually use those kind of clothes

I hear you on getting someplace cold. Reminded me when I worked for the phone company driving a supply truck around the state. I was barely 26, single mom of an 8 month old baby. Was home every night though. Once I got home, got out of my work boots, got into some comfy clothes. Fed my son, got in his bath, and got mine too. I'd put him in his bed and I'd fall into mine. All at the same time, relishing the cold dark apartment, and do it all over again. I loved stepping into my apartment and the cold air from my a/c greeting me at the door. I often ponder, how did I live without a/c in the years prior?
Thank the gods for fast forward!
Nice
