Learning so much from you guys !!! 7 mos carnivore here and love hearing from so many greats...Dr. Berry, Dr. Chaffee etc and you guys! My doc is not happy, but they weren't helping me feel better, just added more meds! Off all my meds and so much healing is happening in my body! I tell my kids if I die tomorrow it's truly my time to go! Nothing tastes as good as this feels! THank you, thank you, thank you!!!

YES. It’s possible. I love seeing this! We feel it within 20 minutes in the knees and other joints when we have certain carbohydrates. It’s been years of carnivore since 2019 so we have reintroduced things over time and keep just getting the best on simple carnivore. This is so important to share! Thank you!! It’s all connected. Rad you guys keep making those connections and putting the puzzle pieces together over time! ♥️

What did the indigenous people do when all they ate was fatty meat and there were no doctors to test cholesterol? They just lived on the food and didn't worry about it. We are wonderfully made, and eating meat is good for us. I am not against vegetables, but if we are already sick, then a full carnivore diet is an excellent elimination diet to heal.

Following meat heavy keto: I’m no longer a diabetic, no longer on opioids for pain, no blood pressure meds, no heart medication, no Prilosec for gerd, have dropped over 60 lbs, and after 45 years of taking thyroid medication my dr is considering taking me off it because I’m using Lugol’s iodine drops in my coffee every day. I’m able to get in the floor to play with great grandsons (I can even get out of the floor 😂). I’m 70 years young, feel much younger and my thought process is much better than it was a year ago!

I also tried adding the sweet potatoes... and I got immediate bloating, digestive issues, pain in joints came back, cravings for carbs came back so I quit last week. I'm still having sleep issues and digestive tract not right yet it will take awhile ... I agree I had too had auto immune issues and insulin issues. Great energy, great sleep, off all medications, detailed blood work was excellent on all levels, and added bonus, lost 50 lbs. My doctor said NOTHING about all my good results and only focused on the LDL. My CAC score is 21 (which is low) and that is only because I used to smoke. I felt great but then, like you, I added carbs back in. I feel terrible, my joints hurt, and I've gained weight. This was confirmation for me to get rid of the carbs. I think this was a really good test for you too. It should build your confidence in what you were doing previously. The fact that the uvitis did not progess is amazing. I don’t have information anymore but like I told you before I do 2 to 6 carbs a day I had all my blood work done And the only thing everything was perfect except for my cholesterol and was a little high it was 107 and she said it got to be below 100 but everything else was perfect and I’m not worried because I’ve never felt better in my life and I started this on July 31 a few days after you guysthank you guys for sharing this information. You have made my life so much better. My doctor is just shocked and everything that I’ve been doing. Thank you guys again love you.

107 is a little high? My is at 292... not lean enough for it to skyrocket to 400s, haha. I don't think 107 is anything to worry about, even by standard doctor's practice

Thanks for a great chat, your never boring with your discussions. I have a question about nausea. I can’t get rid of it, it helps to eat under 5 carbs a day somewhat but did you have this problem when on lion/zero carb. I love the results on my inflammation but can’t stand the nausea.

We have never experienced nausea so I'm not sure what may be causing that. Maybe share on some carnivore facebook groups what you are experience, somebody might be able to help. Thanks for being a part of our UA-cam adventures we appreciate you.

Ketone bodies are naturally anti inflammatory, this is why you feel much better with very low carb. ❤ stay away from daily NSAID use, THAT is bad for heart kidneys etc.

AxSpa here! Steve, were you on biologics pre-carnivore? I've been carnivore since October of last year and while I do feel better, I have yet to even attempt to go off biologics. For obvious reasons. Currently on a dose of Enbrel twice a week, to boot.
I can't prove that going carnivore pulled me out of a flare up, but that's what seemed to happen. I started Carni while going through a flare up and feeling fed up. While it might have been pure coincidence, within 3 days of starting my flare died down. I've always suspected that the shock of dropping carbs to zero snapped me out of it. but really there's no way to prove it.
I also understand what you say about the emotional aspect of it. I had done keto in the past and was familiar with the mental clarity being in ketosis can bring. But just a few days ago I had a sudden realization that I had to double check with my boyfriend. "Have you noticed what my moods seem way more stable and I don't get rattled or overwhelmed or emotional by the things that used to?" The answer was yes. I'm calling it *emotional clarity* to match my mental clarity.
Best of luck to both of you. I keep watching your updates! :)

You guys just don't how happy I am to have found you both 😊. I have an autoimmune disorder that makes my body attack my eyes plus my mouth and throat and down my esophagus where I have horrible blisters sometimes I can't even drink water it burns so bad. I have tried to be carnivore, but I can't stomach meat 😢. I'm on meds and they are slowly taking me off about 4 eye meds. The eye pain you describe I understood fully. I've been dealing with erosion in one eye that's better thank God. That's not all but I will stop now 😅
I appreciate y'all recording your journey ❤ Thank you 😊 I will keep trying carnivore

What carbs did yall start eating? Also I would just do the CAC scan like your wife did, unless you are having symptoms. Surprised Dr would do that test if no symptoms. If your CAC score is concerning then I would do contrast test.

Hi you two, love seeing you both doing so well. This carb stuff is very tricky and I appreciate the testing that you two are doing to demonstrate how carnivore reacts in the body. I had a thought.
The body is so magnificently intelligent. Would it not make sense that since you are not eating carbs that the body requiring some carbs for general physiology that it might raise its own carb load to balance out the protein that you ingest? The body generally doesn't have to create a whole lot of carbs on its own because most of us stuff our faces with it all day long. You are calling on the body to do something different. One thing the body does best of all is it will do whatever it takes to reach homeostasis/balance.
Perhaps the level of carbs found in the testing is what your body needs and is creating to counterbalance your protein lifestyle. Just a thought.

Your doing great, I've heard bad stories of the contrast dye though especially because you have autoimmune, i'd recommend you do as much research as you can online about contrast dyes, search the dangers of contrast dyes online, about people who got bad symptoms from them, then decide 👍

I feel you Steve! I'll be 60 this year and have been dealing with neck pain from arthritis for 10 years! It's a daily struggle.
