Found the Ad for the 50% off Paleovalley Bone Broth Protein powder (unflavored-flavored has additives) stack coupon “THEPALEOMOM15” if you can! Good clean grassfed and it’s flavorless and odorless! (Not my coupon, I just use it all the time 😆) facebook.com/100064303735151/posts/pfbid0pgf1Re11kKwv3shKQdss5rChQ33LJtwqmJQdtmNrSQ9YJH2exRDWbmEeKWjooULql/?mibextid=PvxIeS

I do the keto/carnivore diet. I’ve lost 70 lbs. my A1C went from OVER 13 to 6.2 for the past year. I feel great. I haven’t weighed this in many, many years. It’s been amazingly easy. I don’t exercise or very much; I’m much older. This has been the best answer for me. My dr says I’m his star patient…the one he talks about. He had been throwing meds after meds after meds at my diabetes, now I’m off insulin. Only on orals, but cutting back. Thank you, Jesus.

I'm 70 and I've watched you guys forever. Inn 23 I had a pulmonary embolism lost a brother at his funeral my husband and I got covid he died. We brought the germ to the luncheon after the funeral and a best friend died. (In 22) got pneumonia after covid and can't seem to get well. Lost another brother in 23. My mom is bedfast now. Long story short I'm sick of being sick. This carnivor way of eating sounds like my ticket out of this sickness hole I'm in. Arthritis really bad knee replacement followed by blood clots. Very painful. Wish me luck. Love you guys.

I started the carnivore diet 08/2023 to see if would help with the inflammation in my hands & with my mental illness. I weighed 149 lbs. My weight was creeping up from 140 lbs. Oh my...this way of eating has helped with the inflammation in my hands. Hasn't done anything for my mental illness but wow my weight!!! As of this morning I weigh 126 lbs.😲 I haven't been that weight since HS!!!

I also started 8/23, I was a little disappointed, watching all these Carnivores improve right away, or after 90 days. Not me. Then this month 4/24 I turned a corner and finally feel better both physically and mentally ❤ Note: I did the lion diet for the first 90 days. The corner came after I did 2, 72 hr fasts this month.

there is one person who has more knowledge than 90% of carnivores - it is Harry Serpanos and his videos will cover most of the questions that newbies have (I am one of them and I watch him DAILY). So far his knowledge has been the most helpful to my transition symptoms and they suck but one must be prepared to go through this for a number of years, there is no way around it.

If you are only eating carnivore you HAVE to be in ketosis no matter what a meter says. You are USING your ketones which is perfect.

I’ve been on carnivore for 15 mos and have lost 87 lbs.
I have not checked my ketone levels ONE TIME and yet I’m at my lowest weight since I was in my 20’s (and I’m 62 yrs old).
I don’t believe it is necessary to check ketones and worry about this whatsoever.
Total waste of time in my humble opinion, but if you want to constantly check your ketone levels… that’s great too, more power to ya!!😊😊

I'm diabetic, last summer my A1C was 10.1... last month it was 6.1 ... which is fantastically better!! I quit sweets ...felt so much better. Started the Intermittent fasting diet, which is where you eat once or twice a day. Also I've dropped 90 # pounds in the last 3 years!! People ask me how I did that, I really don't know for sure. But I gave up 2 things.. pasta & white rice. The weight just melted off. I feel so much better!! I love watching ya'lls (I'm Texan) channels. ❤😂

I hear you on depression from ailments. I had severe sciatica for two months. I was down. My husband had to shop cook clean. But the pain was so excruciating I would lay in bed and cry until the pain subsided. And that was just getting up to go to bathroom, get a drink or something to eat. I was so depressed. I missed birthday get togethers. I missed nascar races in Vegas and phoenix. I had to stay in the rv. I just cried and cried. I’m much better. I’m in therapy now. I can at least walk around the block now. Take care you guys. I am about 75+ percent carnivore but I don’t eat sugar or grains.

RHPS was hubby & my first date. He’d never seen it before. I was a die hard midnight movie goer, wearing costume! We were together until he passed in 2019 (just shy of 38 years!). Huge difference seeing it in the theaters (completely interacting with props) than on the tv, but still fun. Enjoy Steph! So happy Steve’s floaters are almost completely gone. Given you had such a bad flare from adding in carbs, I’d never have another again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 your test happens on your scheduled day 🤞🏻 Looking forward to hearing the results! Thanks for giving Puddy a couple of cameos😻 Cheers from FL😺

I think you guys are doing really great. I started July 31 and I’ve been on it almost 9 months but I do have 10 carbs and 14 carbs a day and that’s it. I buy everything I have anything sugar-free no sugar whatsoever for my sugar that’s where I get my carb and stuff from, you guys my cholesterol everything seems to be doing really good. My swelling has still gone down. I haven’t had no swelling. I’m healing twice as fast. I have my knee surgery and the doctors are amazed how fast I’m healing I am shocked how fast I’m healing and I’m going up and downstairs I feel so much better since I started this diet. I’m not 100% carnivore so I’m carnivore ketosis but I’m doing great. I appreciate everything you guys have taught me good you guys are doing great total weight loss 53 pounds.

You know, I think most of us share those same, initial- even ongoing- concerns over eating this way. I do realize there are some who would never admit this, but it's real for most of us. Especially those who have pre-existing, potentially life threatening conditions. Danny was on 7-9 medications when we first married, 13 yrs ago. It became my mission in life to find out why & what the alternatives might be. Along w/educationg myself, I asked God into it, & once I did, I began to feel even more confident in what we're doing. Each of us are an N=1 experiment. Could not agree more w/the "risk versus reward" analogy. The fact that we feel like we're aging in reverse- to some extent- & that Dan is off of all but one med is affirming as well. That doesn't mean our needs won't change, science may discover x, y or z, etc~yet at this juncture we're right there w/you; feeling awesome & enjoying life!
*One more thing for Steph~ I had to really up my fat to get back into ketosis consistently, as in far more fat than seemed reasonable! Thought for sure I was gonna put weight back on, but I started dropping more instead~ which I've heard from several other women too, mostly 45 - 75 yr old range. As the body adapts to using ketones, it's normal for them to not read as high, so there's that. Everyone's different, but for me personally it's about the equivelent of 200 to 300 grams a day, sometimes it's all animal fat & sometimes butter or both~ just wanted to mention. Sammy in AZ

Hey, so to stay in ketosis, I gotta eat between 140 and 200 grams of fat and only about 60 to 70 grams of protein. If I go over on the protein for a couple of days, it'll kick me out of ketosis. And by the way, I'm a 160-pound male. I think we should definitely be eating more fat so our metabolism burns fat instead of carbs.

  • @cyndimanka

Just remember ket”osis” halit”osis” cirrhosis lymphosis. You dig? Osis means disease, abnormal process, state, condition by definition. It’s not a natural state. By definition! I wouldn’t be so concerned with ketosis. When you eat the proper human diet you are always doing the right thing. It’s like people who obsess with the scale. It doesn’t tell the whole story. You could be holding water. You can be building muscle. You could be taking medications. Everything affects weight. I’m with you Steph. I went carnivore to stop my 20+ years Chronic diarrhea. I have no gallbladder so fat was bothering me. I didn’t know. Thanks to steak and butter gal I found out pepper and fat cause me issues. Also spices. I usually only use salt and garlic powder.

I just don't get why anyone who is otherwise healthy would go on an extreme diet like that when the Mediterranean and Japanese traditional diets are super healthy (oldest people in the world), keep people slim and even better, are super tasty and allow you to eat pretty much everything. Meat (in moderation), tons of sea food, vegetables, fruit, carbs, fermented foods etc.

I'm dealing with this right now! Ugh! I was doing great! I'm going to do carnivore, carbs really ruined it for me. I should not have added carbs 3 times a week. Listening to my doctors regarding my high cholesterol...My blood tests are wacky, can't sleep, higher cholesterol, edema. My legs and feet swelled . I couldn't put on my shoes! So depressing. I'm going back to my steak and chicken gizzards. I don't eat eggs as much as you two, but I have them in fried rice, cornbread. I air fry chicken skin, salmon skin. Lenita

I'm probably going to run my blood work, and then try a clean Mediterranean diet for two weeks. Run blood work again to see if I've had an effect.
I started carnivore specifically to lower my LDL, but it had exactly the opposite effect.
I don't have much in the way of autoimmune issues to begin with, but I'm curious to see what Mediterranean will do to me.

When I was in Nursing School I had my cholesterol checked and my Triglycerides were 300 which is high. I asked if I could get them lowered by changing my diet and they said, "No, that never works. It is just not enough. " Well, while I was in school, I was eating McDs and all kinds of garbage on the run. They wanted to put me on a Statin. Well, while in Nursing School Ialearned about how Statins affect your body so I certainly did not want to go on one so I told them No. About 6 mos after school was over, I had my labs checked and my Triglycerides had gone down to 150 which is good. So, thank God I did not take those Doctors' advice. It turns out that it was all bc of the junk I was eating. I had a healthy diet before school and my lipids were always good. I feel it was so irresponsible for that Doctor to immediately choose to put me on a Statin before trying non-pharmaceutical solutions first.

Hi, just seeing u 2. Looked through some of your video list, and saw those dumpster diving ones, funny. Still not sure how long u have been on Carnivore. Looks like u are active, get outside…all those great things. It doesn’t seem that u are coming to Carnivore with a lot of physical issues that’s good. I think the earlier u find it the better.
U talked a lot about cholesterol. All the docs say that is to be expected, and to not let your doc scare u or put u on statins. I’ve known about them before Carnivore, and know they are not good.
I didn’t get what u said is wrong with your eye? I got an attack of floaters a few years ago, and thought I was having a stroke. I was at my desk at work, and several things happened.
I got a little dizzy, then there was this weird like a lightening strike went across my eyes, then all the black and blur. Called my friend at work and went to a clinic and eventual eye doc. I won’t tell u what they explained to me, as it could be something else for u. Took a while to get better. Still occasionally have them, but think most people do.
There is a video called Can Carnivore heal your eyes?………by Carnivore doctor.
Why are u getting a CAT scan?
1 thing about a lot of the docs re: keto/carnivore diet is that they are MD’s. I am just about against MD’s at this point, but encouraged, since I have major issues, that they and others are seeing the light. I have been more swayed by the people who have tried it. Amazing things. I don’t like the evolutionary way they explain things, but I can overlook that.😁
I think that the bottom line many researchers are finding is the sugar and carbs have about killed us, esp if u are addicted like me. All that stuff has been gold to me. So neither of u look like u are fighting the battle of the bulge.
There is a lady on Utube named Barbara O’Neal. She is not carnivore, but she has teachings on every bodily system. She explains it all down to the cells, and easy to understand. I think the more we know about the processes, the more confidence u can have in your choices, and not let doctors keep u scared. She has a video called …How to Strengthen Your Eyesight.
Why does your doc keep saying u are going to die? Is he hitting u with that about the diet??
Unless u love that doc, maybe u could find someone a little more accepting or who will at least not hammer u about it. I’m surprised u 2 seem to be at a doc’s office so much, but I don’t know everything.
Dr Ken Berry said some things. He said that yes, we are all going to die eventually. Also, being on Carnivore does not mean that we will be protected from everything. He feels that Carnivore diet gives people the best chance at quality of life and longevity.
I have kidney disease, so I was very nervous about it. I have researched and researched why I shouldn’t eat me. No study showed that it turns out that it is bad. So I kept wondering;g why we are told that. I found a note in 1 that really just blew me away. It said something like the doctor who first declared that in the late 1800’s or early 19 hundreds, was the first doc too consider diet with a disease, and apparently thought it was mad. What killed was the next part of it, I can’t find it and poor memory, but basically said this doc said low meat and that we now have some meds and dialysis, diet was not studied. It has been, but different conclusions. Made me wonder if they are still researching, as after all, there is radiation and chemo?
I have heard testimonies of people, who have been on dialysis, and been cleared from it.
    Good luck u 2

Hi Fay, We are glad Statins are beneficial for you. We are not takings statins because It’s a personal choice based on the following.
1-Side Effects: Some studies suggest that statins can cause side effects such as muscle pain, liver damage, and an increased risk of diabetes, although these effects are relatively rare.
2-Individual Variability: Not everyone responds the same way to statin therapy. Genetic factors can influence how individuals metabolize statins, leading to varying levels of effectiveness and side effects.
3- Coenzyme Q10 Depletion: Statins can reduce levels of coenzyme Q10, an antioxidant that plays a crucial role in energy production in cells. Some researchers believe this depletion may contribute to muscle pain and weakness associated with statin use.
4- Potential Cognitive Effects: While controversial, some studies have suggested a link between statin use and cognitive impairment or memory problems. However, more research is needed to fully understand this potential association.
5- Long-term Effects: The long-term effects of statin use, particularly in otherwise healthy individuals, are still not fully understood. Some researchers argue that the benefits of statins may not outweigh the potential risks for certain populations, such as those with low cardiovascular risk.

Cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease or any other disease. It is plain and simple… Inflammation, caused by insulin resistance. The only aspect of cholesterol that could be troubling. Is the size of the particles of your LDL cholesterol. Do you think that the doctors would prescribe that test to be done at our physicals every year? Of course, not, how else would they justify pushing statins and other big pharma poisons?

Shouldn’t the bad thing raised cholesterol since cholesterol is bad as well? Wouldn’t that mean that cholesterol is needed and should be a little higher? It’s about the size of the particles of the LDL cholesterol that could be a concern, but not the total count. Our bodies need cholesterol!

The thing that people don’t realize about carbs is that we are not meant to eat much fat at all. The fat we eat including plant oils (and animal sources) is stopping the carbs from properly metabolizing and it leads to inflammation. There is a solution to this which is switching to a whole food plant based diet-which is proven to be the healthiest and is also so non restrictive and abundant in terms of variety. But you HAVE to stop consuming extra fat whether it is animal sourced or plant sourced. That includes olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, the fat that’s on steak ect. It is okay to eat the whole nut because you won’t naturally be able to eat enough nuts to get the fat content that is pressed out of the nuts and seeds for oil. That’s why keto and carnivore work well for people because when you are only consuming animal sources your body is in a different state where it is trying to obtain energy from fat and protein like a carnivore. It’s not healthy to make your body go into this state for long periods of time but you will get results. We aren’t meant to be carnivores which is why the body functions more optimally on plant foods and high carb AS LONG AS THE FAT IS KEPT TO A MINIMUM. We are meant to be eating fruits, plants and carbs but we would never naturally eat all the oil that people eat along with our diets. Like you experienced if you add a carb into a high fat diet like carnivore you will 100% have an inflammatory response. But that doesn’t mean that plant foods like fruits and vegetables are evil.
