This has been released in the past. It wasn't as popular as the lined version because the feeling of waxed canvas next to the skin is not that comfortable. This seems like a re-release.

I guess I'm weird because I actually really like the feeling of an unlined jacket (mine is the rogue territory supply jacket). I've never felt waxy wearing it and my shirts underneath feel fine as well.
I haven’t found it to be an issue either, the fabric feels nice and malleable … a nice addition! The RGT Supply jackets look amazing!
looks great, I didn't know they were releasing a new one. A thing that I would worry about an unlined waxed jacket is if the wax transfer to the clothes below it. I hope it doesn't!
I haven’t had it happen yet and I’ve worn it a handful of times in the sunshine so I’m hopeful it won’t 🤞
i really like this jacket and as a taller guy appreciate the slightly longer length of the sleeves and the body. it is happily not as tight as many heritage jackets. but breathable?
It’s nice and lightweight, but the wax makes it less breathable. It’s great if it’s not too humid but if it’s humid out this won’t help the situation!
The size guide shows that the sleeves are actually longer on the unlined & shorter on the lined version.
You say the arm length is shorter on the unlined version tho?
Just measured and the unlined sleeve is shorter on mine. From the shoulder 25” on the unlined, 27” on the lined. Even measured from centre of collar, 35” on unlined and 36” for lined.

I just ordered an unlined version & was kind of worried about the sleeve length being longer.
Figured if it didn't work I could just exchange & get the lined version since the site shows the sleeves were shorter.
Hopefully the unlined works out or I'll have to just return for a refund.
