Looks cheaply made

I’d like to see an update on this jacket. How has it held up. What’s it look like now?

It looks like the big difference is in height, giving it more leather on the side to be able to push out once it breaks in. Try stepping on the toe box of the boot to flatten it out, making it wider. I do that sometimes just to hurry up the process.

I couldn't get the Diplomats with the Wedge sole to work for me, they're too narrow for me. However the Lug Sole Diplomats work grat for me in my sneaker size. I feel like my feet are similarly sized to yours. I may try the Heros.

I made the mistake o' follow their Half Size DOWN and regretted e'er since. Shoulda gone AT LEAST Half Size UP, as w' most their models, apparently.

When making love to the jacket's sleeve, is the leather soft and supple or firm and harsh?

The used shorts w short arms is probably from being washed in warm water or dried using heat

Look great! I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer it when the indigo bleeds off my denim and onto my shoes (as long as they arent dress shoes!). Gives them extra character! lol

Really wish Thursday would have a warehouse in EU so I could buy one and not pay 1.5x the price for shipping. At that point I can buy a higher end boot.

Hey buddy, I'm the guy who asked you about this very subject a week or two ago. I remember you said you might look into it further. Thanks for making this video 👍. So, a true-to-size standard width Diplomat is a bit snug on your pinky toe, but it basically works OK for you and is wearable. Going a half size down in a wide fit is (perhaps surprisingly?) a bit too snug on your forefoot. So, with all this in mind, you prefer the true-to-size standard width. And you thought about a true-to-size wide fit, but wonder if it would end up being too large all around the boot. I think I've got all that correct. Based on all your great info, it sounds like I should probably go with a true-to-size in standard width. I did exchange a few emails with Thursday, and they said that the Diplomat's last is a bit more narrow than some of their other boots, which might help to explain why the 8.5W was too snug on you. Thursday also said that the instep and heel of a wide size should be comparable to that of a standard width size. So, I guess I just need to decide whether to go with a standard width true-to-size or a wide TTS. Once I get a Brannock measurement, I'll be able to compare my foot's width to yours, and that will help me decide. Thanks for the great information, dude. Super helpful. 👍👍 Your channel is great. I love them the look the amazing. I got the same ones and it arrived today. I just find it too stiff and don’t know how to soften them. Also obviously to note I am extremely new to this raw denim scene and this is my first experience with a 22oz. I know wear will soften them but how long should I expect the discomfort to last.

I have racks of Woolrich jackets & 20" is on the smallest end! I've had ones that were 17" which is tiny. I have a great deal of demand for 28, 29, 30" People were just smaller back in the fifties. At 1:20 the registered mark above the H in Woolrich, dates this tag to after 1967.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect t-shirt for myself. Right now I'm set on the Dickies heavyweight pocket tshirts, as well as Carhartt. I live in small island name bengkalis, Indonesia.although we have tropical climate,here we have windy season and wool shirt is really usefull.a lot friend of mine didn't like wool because they think it will hot.but i always wear it as long as its not blazing hot.

Don’t waste your money on anything Thursday. Get you some RW or Truman’s or Parkhurst or really anything else and they will be a much better boot. These aren’t even remotely close to a PNW boot. Anything Thursday makes is something on par with Nordstrom rack, save your money and get something good, you can thank me later.

What do you do for work? They look brand new

Gustin recently started making a Vintage Straight fit for the 1968 denim which has a higher rise, so I’ll definitely be checking it out. The problem I’ve always had with Gustin is the lower rise of their fits, but hearing you say that they are still comfortable makes me want to try them out. Great video!

Getting ready to pull the trigger on these as they have them marked down to $149. Little nervous though as I typically wear a Wide and since these aren’t offered in one I’m rolling the dice as I’ve never had a pair of Thursdays so I have no idea how they fit.
