I was a Hospice RN doing home care for terminally ill patients. I'd get angry family members threaten to sue me if the patient got worse after my visit and bringing in viruses with me. Family members would steal the patient's narcotics and then say they were never delivered which the delivery was photographed. We had to deny some dying patients care because of their family. Horrible to attack a Hospice Nurse but they did.

Hmmm....refuses delivery for material he has paid for, not a good idea, now he has to deal with the vendor and work out the money. I do wonder if he had a contractor lined up to use that on a project for the property. I used to work in a warehouse and I have known a few truckers and curb side delivery is just that. When I remodeled my house I paid for drop off at the back of the house, on the property. Cost a bit more but saved a lot of walking and carrying heavy material.
Yeah it's obvious the company deliberately holds back the curb info so that they can rinse the customers with fees...
You tell them simply, "I crub side deliver drop shippments. Just like drivers pull-up and drop shipments at warehouses, I drop ship curbside at your house."

I have no idea if he was drunk but I have known people who have pulled the same stunt. They spent several days being pissed off about it, blaming the shipper, the driver, the vendor all because they have come to understand they have screwed themselves over an rashly made decision. He could have simply offered the driver 50 dollars cash to move the material up to the house.

I would tell the shipper your dropping or you need a update rate confirmation for a returned delivery, make your own contract sheet like all the brokers do.
I drove a truck for 46 years, 26 ovr and 20 for Fedex freight city driver and have met many great customers and a few of customers you would swear there whole purpose in life is to degrade a driver and be a total A hole. The company finally gave us tools such as driver discretion and extra charges if certain people were like the one in your video. Before they kissed their ass and would accommodate every desire which would leave a driver hanging off the side of the mountain or stuck in the woods with a 53 ft dry van. If everyone in this country had to deal with the public it would be a better place. I loved the good people I got to meet and enjoyed my job but it only takes one to try to mess up your day. Hang in there and protect your CDL.
The company you work for is obviously scamming people in the hope of keeping fines/materials and refusing refunds... and you have the nerve to treat others like this? Wow, your parents must be proud raising a scammer 😂
I wouldn't go so far as saying he's a scammer, but he does have a bad attitude and thinks that he dictates the customers satisfaction.

Are you kidding me? That has to be a lie. You must have a manifest that tells you exactly what you are picking up and delivering.
The contractor deliveryman doesn't get involved with the details. It's different if he worked for that business, but he doesn't as he is a 3rd party delivery company. It's kind of like asking UPS, "what's in that box?" They don't know and it's not their job to know. If the paperwork has the count wrong that's between the customer and the company that it was ordered from. He's paid to deliver the requested product, nothing more, nothing less.
@@EyzeBlue regardless on whether or not either of us knows the truth of this matter in this specific situation, the driver is very unprofessional argumentative with customers and Store employees alike all the time. What was with the attitude and refusal to listen to the customer in this video? Stop unstrapping the package and go look at the damn yard to see if you can accommodate the customer. Anything that happens that makes him go an inch out of his way that he didn’t plan on. He gets an attitude.

They know how many packages and where they're supposed to go, that's all. Curbside Delivery, which is all this idiot paid for, means dropping the load AT THE CURBSIDE...not in the back yard.
