    As a medical student,I have studied that animal sources are the major source of 7 essential amino acids & vitamin B12 only can be found in animal sources.... Excess protein intake is quite rare comparing with the protein deficiency....so study more accurately

      vitamin B12 can be made by your gut if the good gut bacteria/ microbes are sufficient, and grain + legumes / seeds + legumes can become complete protein with “9” essential amino acids which our body can’t make enough (Soy & peas are complete protein exceptions). Stop coming up with half knowledge & just because you’re medical student doesn’t mean you know it all. And of course another aspect could be cultural compulsion looking at your username. There’s also ease of digestibility, food combinations, microbial gut health, nutrient absorption. Your comment was pretty rudimentary nutritional information.

    40 - 60 grams is a minimum protein required for body maintenance. Below that, you will have protein deficiency. If you are lifting weights and your lifestyle is active then you need almost 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per kg of body weight.

    This information is not at all true.. No doctor would recommend this kind of diet plans to anyone..
    My mother who is a Rheumatoid arthritis patient blindly followed your Satvik routine (in some of their old videos they have openly claimed to cure any kind of ailments and improve a person's overall health) and due to less protein intake her weight reduced drastically, instead of improvement her health condition worsened. She lost a lot of weight and now it's been 6-7 months, still we're struggling to make her gain weight.
    Please everyone, DON'T follow this channel blindly. Nothing is authorised and recommended by doctors here. We did a really big mistake by trusting them, pls everyone be very cautious.

I have literally unsubscribe and reported this channel from my grandmother and aunt's mobile phone as their diet focuses in Raw Veganism. Both ladies started eating raw vegetables like spinach! Its not healthy this channel should be stopped they misguide People and mostly their followers are middle aged and senior citizens. This diet is not good.     As an ayurvedic student i have studied 3 major samhitas that is charak samhita shusruta samhita and astang hridaya and i didn't find single line saying meat egg and milk are bad for us phle samhitas aur book padho phir apne channel ka naam satvic whatever rakhna... aur haan ek baar satvic bhojan ka bhi padhna usme go dugdha and go gruta is recommended and also read some yoga related books jisme dugdha aur gruta to yogic bhojan me rakha gya hai... don't fool people and that basti pot (enema) such a waste product and really bad for the people ... adhura 2take ke google ke gyaan ko camere ke samne faltu ke accent me bolne ki awashyakta nahi itna hai to padho aur tb aao 4din yoga kya kar liya khud ko teesmaar khan samajh rahe hai ayurveda aur sattvic sattvic kar ke bakwaas bechte ho tum sb ... aur agar baat sahi hai to please provide reference of samhita thankyou so much

    You need 4-5 bowls of daals in a single meal to fulfill the daily requirement of protein. Many people can't eat soya due to medical restrictions. If you have the capacity to eat 8-10 bowls of daal, then go ahead.

      @@99stranger there are only 9 essential amino acids, also how does a 75 kg male fulfill his daily requirement of 60g protein(thats the minimum, if they involve in exercise they need more) only through plant based foods. Plant based foods have more carbs per gram of protein and also their bio availability and digestibility is poor.

They do not eat any meat yet have enough muscle strength. I myself am an example! I didn't eat meat for 10-11 months and increased the consumption of leafy vegetables, curd and lentils to supplement the decreased consumption of meat for protein, it works and is better. Why? Because my tummy felt light and I became much more active, it takes very less time to digest these but meat kinda makes me feel full and drowsy, it also takes time to digest it completely.

    Plants cannot give you complete protein they contain only 6 to 7 essential amino acids also they contain very anti nutrients which cannot be absorbed by human body without cooking but by cooking them and eating them with other plant based or Dairy based sources you can get complete protein for example eating dal and chawal or sabji and roti

      major complete protein combinations:
      Seeds + legumes
      grains + legumes
      Additionally they (whole like ragi or brown rice or green gram) have more nutrition than any meat. Plus they’ve fibre which is a big plus for gut & heart health.

    What about B12, omega 3 fatty acids for brain development? Protein from vegetarian sources has low efficiency as it comes with so many carbs. To get a small amount of protein we end up eating so much dal and rice that will lead to weight issues and other problems. Your videos are lacking basic concepts, unscientific and biased not in a good way. I don’t appreciate these kind of videos that spread Wrong information when our kids from low economic status are nutritionally deficient. They need to eat eggs and whatever kind of meat they have access to.

    Yes, we can fulfill all essential amino acids from plant based, but we have to do so much effort to put all the veg on table.

    Plant based diets require a very strict regimen of meal plans to stay on top of your caloric intake. It was really hard for me so I switched to pescatarian diets. If you’re very determined do it.

    The 20 amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and even when we do consume protein, ultimately, our body again breaks it down into amino acids to use. To get an adequate amount of protein in a plant based diet, all that needs to be done is combining various whole foods to make a balanced meal, where each food has a few amino acids. Foods that do not have all the essential amino acids are incomplete proteins. If you do not want to eat meat or animal products, you can still get all the essential amino acids by combining foods with different incomplete proteins. This way, incomplete proteins in all these foods can form a complete protein. Hence, it is not always necessary to have a non-plant based diet to fulfil protein requirements.
    An example of a plant based meal with different incomplete proteins can be a meal that combines nlack beans and rice, or dal made of lentils with jowar roti.
    Even though i am not a vegan, i do not have much objection to what she is saying. Moreover, excessive meat condumption can lead to disorders like acidosis, which can further lead to more diseases.

    Please read about bioavailability of each source of protein is different. Esp for vegetarian sources it’s lower than all non veg sources..😢

    I unsubscribed this channel just because of this one video... You take veg or non veg that is your preference... But a plant based diet can never give protein and other nutrients equal to non vegetarian diet... This is scientific fact...

      What if food costs more than a man's or woman's per month income but poison is cheap so are the people going to consume poison for food. Our human body is not made for protein and remember that we are eating animals not for protein but for our taste.

      Your body needs protein atleast 0.8 gms that's upto you if you want to consume veg or non veg
      But even if you are eating veg protein source it's not enough for your body because it's not FULL source of protein
      I don't want to argue with you but please include eggs atleast with your veg protein source
      You will find significant change in energy level .
      After all it's upto you !

What kind of world are you talking about where food costs more than a person's income? And the "poison" doesn't kill you in this case. According to you, the person should rather not eat anything (cause they can't afford it) than consume "poison". I hope you do realize that the Human Body requires proteins to survive.

      We have so many varieties of veg or vegan food items to eat why do we just need to kill and eat those innocent life, they do feel pain as us people too. And eating non veg is really causing problems to your health as compared to poison. So many people following the satvik diet are now healthy and are not facing any problems that could cause them to waste their money on purchasing medicines.

    My aunts and uncles lived past 100 years. They all ate fish twice daily until the day they died. One of them ate chicken until he passed away at 98. He wouldn't eat unless there was chicken.

    An average indian women protein intake is even less than the range which you are mentioning . Going vegan is gonna to reduce it more until we cautiously check for protien intake. Which is not possible for a normal indian women 😢 I think protien for an Indian can't be overdosed until you take cand pf protien supplements. Because most of us eat only vegetarian foods throughout the week and consume non veg on weekends.

    There is no reported lab test showing a protein deficiency. Protein deficiency is only possible if you are dying from starvation, and in that case, you are deficient in getting enough calories because you are literally dying. It makes no sense to increase protein intake when you think about it. Protein is used for growth, and the most significant amount of growth occurs when we are born. The primary food for newborn humans is milk, which is only 6% protein. After we are weaned, we don't need more than 6% protein in our diet.
    Moreover, protein, especially animal protein, increases the risk of cancer. Papua New Guinea highlanders eat mostly sweet potatoes, which contain only 4% protein, yet they are healthy, strong, and muscular. Just because you have a platform doesn't mean you should brainwash people into thinking they need more protein.

    If there is an athlete, then how much protein will consider as overuse of protein ?? If an athlete consuming 1.3g / kg of bodyweight then is it good for him ? & if someone consuming 2g / kg of body weight will it be overuse of protein ??

    40-50gm is actually not being consumed in most indian veg basied households.
    Also bioavailabity is a thing.
    Diary and animal based protien sources are of higher quality.
    Also the study you show is about athletes who consume more than 150grams [aprox] of protien a day.
    Which is actually difficult even if you are eating meat [most people dont].
    And the study is vague and not conclusive.
