Maximalism is not for everyone but this is done in the best way possible. Every frame is just stunning. She has great taste for Indian art.....even in clothing no one does Indian better than Sonam!
She has immaculate taste. It's so refreshing to see an Indian celeb that doesn't have a tachy, mediocre modern house. I'm so glad she embraces her roots and proudly displays them.
Honestly, it’s the most stunning decor I’ve ever seen! It’s absolutely extraordinary-extravagant, luxurious, and rich with Indian heritage. Only someone with the vision of Sonam Kapoor could conceive something so fantastic!
Her house looks like a mixture of different royalties. It’s just so beautiful and elegant and classy and expensive and just a therapy to eyes. I loved every bit of it. Her house is full but not cluttered. Its like Breathing art in every corner.
Most beautiful house on AD ever!! I have no idea who she is but it’s inspiring to see someone who goes all in in one’s desires and passions!! An ode to courage!!
Gareeb af me with a mattress on the floor finds it difficult to clean the room thinking ki safai kaise hoti hogi itne saare saamaan waale ghar mai 😂.. Loved the maximalist approach! Sonam knows how to put together a house..
I am a minimalist, love modern sleek lines and this house would be a sensory-overload for me. But thanks to her, I saw a contrasting traditional artifact-inspired maximalist decor, done with painstaking details. Nice to enjoy a 180 degree view
Am I the only one who was waiting for her to show her walk-in closet full of the most wondrous clothes, timeless silhouettes and textures and dresses and shoes... oh shoes... and handbags... AD she's literally our fashion leader, and you skipped the most important part... *sobbing
I'm an Indian art collector myself. And I use to consider myself extremist but even for me this house is too much but again I get her there is never enough room to display your art and she made a brave choice and went all out afterall it's her house. Thank you AD for bringing something different than usual white washed homes.
I have always like her sense and style, but after seeing this, am more in love than before! There is something so unapologetic abt her style and sense in everything ❤❤❤❤
Her house is so full of characters, unique and historical art pieces, beautiful yet meaningful decoration items. And yet, it is still very practical, feel so homely and comfortable. Love it so much!❤❤❤❤❤
Now this is a house which has a soul. It looks actually like someone lives in it. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it certainly tickles my brain with the immaculate details.
Am I the only one who didn’t like it. I mean yea it’s nice to explore for a day or two but living there would give me a headache. Too much going on . No hate
It’s not my taste either, I like clean lines, minimalistic decor and neutral colours, but I appreciate the uniqueness of her taste, the blend of Indian decor in a modern look
"It's not my house, it's her house. She should be comfortable in it," is honestly the best approach any artist designing or creating for other people can have. I can't emphasize enough how many times I argued with people because I had a vision and wanted to get the result that I was paying for, and not what suited their own taste.
What I loved about her house is that , every room is like a different world and it's so refreshing to be stepping in and out of different worlds all day , it feels as if you leave a country and reach another in no time which evokes different emotions without a jet lag !!
Just obsessed with these interiors. The class, the Indian aesthetics and the vibe is so ROYAL and it feels like someone is showing my dream house 🥹😍❤️🤍💙
While not my style I love her eclectic, layers with so much speaking to her heritage. Around each corner and through each door brings new surprises and wonderful pieces of art. The house definitely comes together and appears to speak to her.
Wow unlike A LOT of actresses with her level of success, she is actually a very creative person. I would never relax in that space, but it’s gorgeous to look at! What a thoughtful way to put Indian culture and history AND interior design together.
She is such an interior maniac … sky is the limit for what she wants .. detailings gone wild . … so happy to see this space .. Sonam have a very strong potential to start an interior brand .. she should ..
A maximalist by her own admission. but was happy to see that she had not just picked up the pieces or been at the mercy of interior designers but had cared to learn about the cultural context. It's heartening to see something that was not the Suzanne/ Gauri Khan kind of bling interiors but something more personal and relatable.
Most beautiful house ever ... Also a true representation of how Indian homes should be reflecting the culture the Indian vibe... Loved every corner of this house

The blue in the kitchen was a pleasant surprise, it gives the kitchen a clean, crisp, spacious look, reminds me of UK kitchens. That was very nice of Sonam to give us a tour. Love the Nursery. Now you need to do a video on how you get that luscious, gorgeous long, thick hair!
I always thought she was dumb, but after seeing her house i have to change my views of her. A bold maximalist Indian traditional decor is fantastic. I wasn't expecting this
