Thanks for the video got lucky and found one of the Wide Open Brands for my Foreman 4x4 450S last thursday which shows delivery for today. Now discontinued they definitely took advantage ($440 shipped) of having what appears to have been one of the last DS4500 kits available for the 450 ES/S Models.
Edit: Oh and the "Now I'm in the daylight I can see the Pictures better cracked me up"
Glad you found one!!! Thanks for watching!!!!
Keep up the great videos bud, wish I lived closer.
Thanks Mark I appreciate it! If you ever get out this way definitely hit me up!
@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv they dont make one for my 400 but they make them and floorboards for a 450 and I believe that it will work
As always bru awesome video
Thanks brother I appreciate you watching!!!👍💪🤝
Love these how to video 👍📽
Thanks Wayne I appreciate it!!!
Glad you fixed it. I have a friend that has a 300 and does not have the switch to take it out of 4x4. It has executioner tires 28 in and that sucker has Popeye arms trying to steer that thing
Throw in a welded locker and 32in silverbacks and it's damn near impossible to turn without the 424
I can imagine😂
Thank you Sir!👍
Nice video bruh. Had a 424 switch on a foreman500 I once owned. Loved it.
Thanks brother I really enjoy it 👍
I literally just took right side wheel off and took the diff bolts out. And slid the diff forward and slid the driveshaft out. It was tight but less work.
👍💪🤝
Got the same tires the dig pretty bad .... nice video
I turn them slow and they always seem to pull me right out. Yours 32s as well?
I need a set of those tires for mine. For a fact.
They ride like shit but pull like no other that I have found that doesn't dig out the bottom!💪
Overall how do you like the 300? I'm considering getting one and doing a build video for my channel
Do it!!! It will definitely help your channel, and it will only get more valuable as you build it 👍💪🤝
@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv thanks! I'll keep looking
@@CheyenneBullard not a smooth ride AT ALL...but they have a loyal following like no other model ATV that I can think of. I turned down 6k for mine from a couple guys recently. I know a couple guys in Southport/shallotte area that has a bunch of them, and they mod them as well
Some Damnfools Atv thank you! I will keep my eye out
Are you gonna be at Cape Fear this weekend or still working on the 300?? Also ik that you go there but idk if you’d know this but if I were to go out there since I’m under 18 would I need a parent to sign a waiver or anything
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this weekend. We are definitely going riding next weekend. As for the waiver with you being under 18 I'm not sure? I appreciate you watching and I will definitely catch up with you on the trails soon 👍💪🤝
Alright thanks man, I’m loving the 300 vids!
@@chase_2249 thanks brother I really appreciate it! You will have to ride it through a nasty hole, it's a mudding fool!
@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv I bet! She seems pretty much unstoppable😜
You got a link for it
I can’t find one of these anywhere, I was wondering if they stoped selling them or something
Wide Open discontinued them this Spring. If you can find em, they are priced insanely high.
Could you give me the link for the conversation pice
How tough is the steering in 2wd with the spool locker?
With the 32 silverbacks it's still a little tough. I am definitely getting the TORQ locker, when I can afford it. Supposed to steer like it doesn't even have 4wd, yet a locker when engaged. That's IF you have the 424 to make the 300 2wd capable
Some Damnfools Atv, thanks for the reply. I always enjoy your vids man. Keep em coming!
I had a spool locker back in the day. I loved the traction of the true 4x4. But, I’m too old and broke up now to fight it all the time. Lol. I think the 424 & torq locker are gonna be ideal. If I understand it correctly, the torq locker engages when torque is applied via the front drive shaft, similar to the older DGL’s. So with the shaft disconnect of the 424, steering should be extremely light. The combo is pricey, but IMO 100% worth it.
@@calesanders4052 absolutely brother I try to respond to every comment.
And yessir you are absolutely correct with your assessment of the TORQ locker, and I hope you get the setup soon!
Hey man you know if the park is going to be flooded tomorrow?
Cape Fear the water holes will be deep but awesome. The mud will be funner as well.
Busco depends on the river stage so I honestly don't know about that.
@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv uea im countimg, busco out for tomorrow so just hoping cape fear atv wont be too bad
@@justinteal495 hell yeah have fun be safe 👍
