I'm using a Tower 300 as well. I have the black version. Swapped over from an Asus AP201. Had to have it once I saw it. I love the uniqueness of it. The verticality of it all with the components mounted sideways and the angled glass. It just looks so cool. I strongly recommend running both the side/AIO fans and the bottom fan as intakes with the top fans as the exhaust. I have tried multiple configurations and this has been the best for thermals. Only having the one bottom fan as an intake isn't very efficient because of the location. It's trying to pull air through a section with a warm power supply and bundled up cables. The side panel where the AIO goes (or just fans if you're air cooling) has a filter there so running intake shouldn't cause too much extra dust and it will more reliably pull in fresh air that will naturally be pulled across all the components as the exhausts at the top lifts it all back out.
@@Cali_Sense Yeah. I have it up on Part Picker. If you pull up completed builds for the black version. Mine is the all blacked out one with white lighting. It's the only one posted with a 7900 XTX. I tried replying with the link to it, but UA-cam keeps deleting it.
I have the 300 too (matcha green) and run the fans the same way. I absolutely love this case. Currently running it horizontal with the stand, but not sure if I'll do it forever or not
Thermaltake on their site even points out that your layout is correct. intakes on bottom and right side (with the graphics card acting as an intake for the left side), with exhuast fans on the toop and back of the case.
THANKYOU for the information about the 25 logo being painted on. I had searched for this information for a few days and finally found it in your review!
Legitimately loved the review. Kyler is probably more representative of the majority of PC building in this particular video's "everything that can go wrong will go wrong" motif. Not editing out all of the frustrating stuff better prepares people for some of the potential issues or pitfalls, so we can avoid them (hopefully.) That makes PC building less scary.
I build a system for a customer with the Tower 200 and I was surprised at how much I liked it. They asked for a Poison Ivey/Harley Quinn and it came out pretty nice. No thermal issues either.
Great! Sounds like the tower 400 is gonna be an amazing case to get when you can access the I/O easily without breaking the fan/possibly cutting yourself along with other stupid design choices like riveting the plate while having cutouts for project zero boards 😂
My thought was that since they are all front panel connectors and fan headers, you would thread those cables through the hole, connect them to the motherboard, pull them back as you mount the motherboard into the case, making it easy to attach all of the headers, without having to deal with that solid riveted plate. I plan to get one of these myself in the coming months, I will have to try and that see how it works.
Dude you are cursed!!! What did you do? Soo much went wrong with that build. I love that case though. I want to see how it does over a few months, if there are any more disasters. P.S. Are you sure Linus didn't pay you guys a secret visit, and he came South of the border for some real Pitts town culture?
Having SOME airflow vs none is often going to be enough to tame a gaming computer. The internal case temperature may end up somewhat higher but that just means the exhausted air is also hotter. Unless completely suffocated you won't need to overthink case airflow. If case airflow would make such a huge difference there wouldn't be so freaking many tempered glass cases out there. They'd bring back side panel fans to increase performance.
Entirely blocking the I/O is such a dealbreaker. Noiseiest Wifi signal from those antennas also. Krakens just HATE being moved. I've had to RMA them TWICE when moving to different builds. They aren't designed to be disturbed.
3:55 check the comments 😂 I thought it was only he's one PC glass and now this one, and two cars! This is grimlin stuff going on! So I how everything goes better for young Kiler!
Going to your discord just to share a pic of my “modded” tower 100. I promise you haven’t seen one setup like this before. Unless you saw my old post on reddit 😅
I like Asus Prime AP201 or something model, small size and no Tempered glass so that I can move here and there if needed without scratching and breaking the glass. I like The tower but it doesn't fit my purpose....
I think they look like cryo chamber display cases for my G1 transformers or Alien Queen toy. EDIT* I am not giving up my King 95 Pro for any case, regardless how cool it looks. I waited 3 years for something with function, style and was art- skipping the entire hyte/lian li builds that were okay but too much or ran too hot.
Thanks for the review of the case! I have purchased one and will also be doing a 7800X3D build in it. I thought is was great form factor for me since my setup has my case on the left side of the desk and opposed to having one of those completely flipped cases, this was a cool option. Did you have to do any cable extensions since rear i/o runs from the top and down the back and out?
I built the computer and I confirm the gripes: running cables to the "back" I/O and GPU is a pain as you have to pop the whole top off and flip the fan holder off to get there! The running a few of the MB connections on the left side and had to loosen a couple of the screws to get the connector through. Other things, the included case fans are noisy! I went with the LCD panel and was a bit disappointed on the functionality/customization as I had hoped to put multiple data points (multiple temp/load items) on the screen at the same time. Nope. Also would be nice to either have the "front panel" on the bottom as this is a desktop tower that sits quite high and even worse for me it sits on top of other equipment. I do like how basically all panels can be taken off fairly easily and I do like how it all looks with my desk arrangement!
Nice video, i would like to purchase this Thermaltake The Tower 300 Hydrangea Blue Micro Tower Chassis in UAE, Any affordable sellers in GCC for Gamers?
How did you fit the GPU in there? My Assassin IV covers half of the PCI-E slot on the Project Zero Motherboard, leaving no space to plug in my 4090. Seems like I can't make it fit and need another cooler...
I second that, ordered the same motherboard and cooler because of this video an the cooler covers half of the PCI-E slot. Were you able to solve it anyhow?
I don't know but, everything looks like you're cursed or something like that, how could you come up with all those "problems"? hahaha, nice video though, I like that tower a lot.
I´m really interested in using the MSI Zero MoBo for this case but it looks kinda hard to plug in the cables at 05:33, would it be possible to plug them before installing the Motherboard?
25" is some sort of flower crap lol. Im so seeing red tho. Their supposed to have this in turqoise and im trying to play my next build over the next 6-12 months. So im trying to pick out what im gonna by at what point and the literal color i want is not sold.. but its advertised... wtf

loving my Hydrangea Blue tower 300, also swap from an AP201 mesh, loved how much desk estate i have gotten back and loving the color and design,

I love how that broken glass made it into the footage
It does look like a popcorn machine though
better off performance than looks😮
Not necessarily a bad thing! I love that it doesn’t look like 99% off all the PCs out there. Rectangles. That’s enough to get my money.
A freaking futuristic popcorn maker. The only downside is it doesn't make popcorn!

I have one of these and I really like it. It was a little hard to build it but it was worth it.
I'm glad Kyler is still around. He's my favorite.
THANKYOU for the information about the 25 logo being painted on. I had searched for this information for a few days and finally found it in your review!
Finally, an Aircooled Tower 300 build. Been looking for this since I have the same CPU cooler that I want to see in this case.

The glass could not categorically survive Kyle's vibes.
That's a good joke😂
I'm so happy to see Kyler find his groove. Well done, New Guy!
Mad respect for putting in CGI to convince yourself that the case has good airflow /j

The amount of drama this build has been thru. Kyler is so wholesome 💅💅💅

FYI. MSI actually mentionnes the Tower 300 on their BTF supported list.
Instant buy if it actually makes popcorn

Kyle struggling this video with that case lol
They should consider a large fan on the top and bottom to help with heat and have a selling point
There are 2 140mm on the top, installed in the tower 300.
Please don’t let this guy approach a computer anymore thanks 😆
Kyler has a Wigidash. I can't believe I'm jealous of Kyler.

Downside is that the ports in the motherboard wont be acessible unless removing the top cover or fans.
