    The only video out of all the thermal take 300 content in youtube that shows how the routing cables would look like.

    I know this video is 3 months old but if you're still curious about why thermaltake included the lcd screen bracket.
    It's because of minimum quantity manufacturing requirements. The fact that its included says, they don't expect to sell a lot if the screens for this case. So its cheaper to just mass produce the braket with the case. Remember, thermaltake uses the same screen in a bunch of their cases, so that part is also mass produced. But requires a different bracket for each case.
    It's also likely that they have loads of those LCD panels sitting in a warehouse, and including a cheap bracket in every case will help to move stock.
    Sorry, I geek out over manufacturing and logistics.

    I fell in love with this case recently. The only things i would've done differently is the orientation of the AIO pump on the CPU with 180 degrees rotation so the hoses would be on top instead of on the bottom. Just to make sure there's no possibility of air staying trapped in the pump and also with that orientation the cables align perfectly with the hole you pulled them through in order to route them to the back of the case. And maybe use custom PSU cables just for the sake of visuals. Oh, i would also love to see how it performs under some stress tests and what temperatures you get. Great video, good luck on your UA-cam journey!
    P.S To answer your question, I've built all my PCs and some for my friends as well in the last 20 years, and i love it.

    • @RickyT15
      @RickyT15 3 місяці тому +1

      I don't think thats an issue, the air will go to the highest point of the loop the pipe orientation doesn't matter in that regards, so in his case the air will be trapped at the highest part of the rad were the cable is there and not the cpu pump. if you wanted to avoid all possibility you would be better to flip the rad if possible so the air traps at the top of it away from all cables. There would be vary little difference with your suggestion to how his is.

  • @josef.hernandez9781

    Just finished my own build of a Tower 300 case (in white/snow)! I wish I ordered some custom cables as the thick and stiff PSU cables I got from EVGA made this really difficult for me. This also was my first-ever solo PC build… heck of a trial by fire in terms of cables management! lol
    I adore the music choice for this build video! Please continue using it! I felt “lost in the depths” of cutting-edge tech! Like something out of the BrayTech facility in Destiny 2! Or maybe Mass Effect! Hahaha

    Any reason you installed the rear fan as intake? I Wonder if there's any issues with airflow with that fan mounted on the ssd bracket instead of the fan mounts on the rear panel? TT has a detailed thermal section on their site, it's pretty thorough. They recommend the rear as exhaust. Oh and music was good.

    Great content Rabryn. Enjoyed the nice chilled out build vibe - sweet! I was sold on the 200 but after seeing your 300 review, I’m a bit torn between the two. Any thoughts? Also my main concern with both cases is access to the GPU IO ports… seems a bit weird how it’s accessed from the enclosed recess at the top of the case - kinda awkward right? - what’s your view on that? Anyway, keep up the amazing work man 🙂

    • @Renegade_Rabryn
      @Renegade_Rabryn  4 місяці тому +2

      I haven't built in the 200 so I have no opinion on it. Depends if you want a matx or an itx system I suppose. The io port access isn't too bad. It would be annoying if you're constantly plugging things in and out of it

    Hmm, intaking air through the radiator doesn't sound good but exhausting it means the only thing drawing fresh air is the GPU and one fan at the bottom, and the back too I guess, but that's a weird airflow. I think air cooler would be preferred on this case, and reverse fans will make it pretty. I dunno, you gotta do some testing on the thermals.

    • @frantz4g63
      @frantz4g63 Місяць тому

      Not sure if you found an answer to your question, but yes, a 4080 Super does fit inside this case, both double and triple fan. Only difference is, with the triple, there is a piece you need to remove in the lower center-left of the case where otherwise the drive would collide. I believe the removal of that particular piece is dedicated for creating room for larger drives. Best used as an intake on the left side of the case for orientation, as Thermaltake suggests.

    I think they did a good job, but they made one mistake. The top of the motherboard where the cables go, if you have everything on wi-fi connectors that is great if you don't you get to display all your cables which is a big NO NO for me perhaps they will think about it in the tower 400. I would rather go with Tower 200 in this case, tower 200 could be perfect if it fitted 3x 120 or 3x 140 radiator.
