If Disney wants to really go all in on the kids content angle, that's fine - they've still managed solid content with Clone Wars. That being said, if we have legends anyways, why can't we make a rated M sequel with these guys after the wars and throw it there since it would never get their canon blessing? The grit and grounding of these games has only been matched by Rogue One and KOTOR, and I would love to see these guys again. Children thrown into war under ignorant commanders with nothing but their brothers and their training to rely upon. As self-aware as any man, but never given that agency. And with their only purpose stripped from them, what do they become?
@@crdog4009 I would like to think so, but I don't think that's Disney's calculus right now. Star Wars goes in waves between catering to kids and catering to adults. Episdoe VI was the OT's dive into kid stuff which the EU didn't rebel against until the early 1990s with the Thrawn Trilogy. Episode I took us right back into kid land, which is why I think we had the renaissance of SW games immediately afterwards, actually subverting the genre (lolz at Rian). So we're probably a good 5 years off since Disney still really wants to monetize the sequels at the theme parks and what not. I think the Obi Wan series and the next season of Mandalorian will set the tone or not to show if Disney is willing to invest in more mature content, since I still see Rogue One as their unloved child even though it quickly got a cult following. And if I didn't think the sequels were damaging to the overall vision of Star Wars, I don't think that would have been a bad thing. Like Episode I & II were trash even though I love them, but they got me and a whole generation invested that then clamored for a deeper, more mature exploration of the universe. So hopefully Disney does the same thing!
Since we have STA WARS Rogue One & STAR WARS Solo; we the fan must want this into a movie, let our Clones have the spotlight for their own movie. *STAR WARS: REPUBLIC COMMANDO.*

Maybe, but delta has an written story, and many people love this story, but they all love their own... Bad Batch Don't have this... And they kan make a new TV Show with them... It is like the old republic, Everyone wants that the New Heavy Squad Member is his own Caracter...
@@j.c.k.8639 And I hope they do a new series with them or other commandos. We only know a few missions of the delta squad but they can expand them or with any other commando squad
That would require Disney to acknowledge the Expanded Universe as canon, something they don’t want to do because it makes their fanfic sequels looks terrible by comparison. But they’ll still look for ways to profit from the Expanded Universe! God forbid Disney ignore a way to profit off of the ideas and hard work of other people for once.
They ridiculously under utilized these guys in The Clone Wars. Even if they couldn't use delta squad specifically, they could have easily invented a new squad for the Citadel trilogy or that damn Droid Squad arc where they find Gregor.
Nothing in Legends can be expanded upon. If something SW is created in this day and age it will always be New Canon, and since Republic Commando is Legends it just doesn't work out.

This have the potential to be one of the best star wars games, the story and characters are very well done, its one of the most inmersive games from the franchise as well as being a unique approach to the universe, no jedi, no sith, just clones doing the best they can, they do not change the rules of the game, they survive the rules of the game, as I say it, it have potential because the game is far from perfect, the customization, tactical shooter stuff and the idea of the game are incredibly well done but the balancing, difficulty, enemies AI and the multiplayer (its basiclly a halo multiplayer with little tweaks) needs some retouches, but everything else its perfect, there are few games which needs remakes while republic commando doesnt need one, it will of course make the game one of the best ones and even stand with the best shooters of the genre like half life, halo, doom, bioshock and metro.
I know it's the wrong video game franchise but I'm playing the elder scrolls online and this music is perfect for slaying dragons cutting through hoards of undead and enemy soldiers! I love it!

How it will always be. With such thoughts, I, and the rest of my squad break into the bridge. Huh? Captain? There is no time to think about it. I raise my blaster up towards that Jedi. The order that we were given, there is no way it would be easy. We have all seen how capable this Jedi is. After all, our target... is Ahsoka Tano. -=-=-=- How strange... It hurts. It hurts more than when I was wounded in the battle for Geonosis... It hurts more than when my brothers die by my side... Ah... I see... I finally look down to see a scorch mark that burned straight through my armor. It wasn't a wound caused by a lightsaber. It was caused by a blaster. I look up to see the familiar blue armor wearing Captain. His blaster pistol pointed right at me. Smoke, still trailing from the barrel. I was shot by Captain Rex, huh? I can barely support myself as I fall back. I can feel my back hit the metal panels but it doesn't hurt. My body has grown too numb to feel pain. To think, this feeling of betrayal hurt more than anything. No, perhaps it is the other way around? As I gaze back at the captain, he looks like he is in pain too. Captain Rex... Who was in the right? Were we wrong? Were the orders... wrong? I can feel my consciousness start to fade as my eyelids grow heavy. What was the... right thing... to... do...
I personally don't think Delta Squad executed Order 66, I think they would've helped build the rebellion in a way
@@Delta-07999In Legends they did just the opposite. Delta got folded into the 501st and became part of “Vader’s Fist”.
How awesome would an animated series about these guys be?
@@nuclearmuffinman that's the best idea i've heard long time

@Owen Wilson 90% sure I read somewhere that there was going to be an Imperial commando game where you played as boss with fixer and scorch following you, the opening mission being being the battle of kashyyyk before order 66, and the second mission was the enactment of Order 66, I also remember reading that Sev was the one that wasn't going to obey the order and a side story in the game was the main team trying to find Sev
If it was in either 2003 clone wars or 2010 clone wars art style I be down as long it’s from Dave Filoni, since he made great clone wars (2010) with George Lucas

"Good soldiers follow orders." That is the motto that has been drilled into us since we started training... no. It has been drilled into us before we could even be considered born. Back in the cloning tanks on Kamino. But what if the orders seep into every facet of your life? Orders... Orders... Orders... I keep seeing the dreams of following THE order. The one I'm sure everyone has seen. Everyone knows about. And yet, none of us truly understand. Is it a nightmare? Or is it simply a dream that gives us purpose? That single order... It wasn't until that fateful day that I... no. WE understood what that dream was. "Time has come. Execute Order 66" The voice was raspy and rough. The sinister, elderly voice of the chancellor of our Grand Galactic Republic. The moment I heard it, I felt a chill in my body and a strange sense of clarity I have never felt before, not on the battlefield, and not anywhere else. As if in a trance, I rushed over to the armory as fast as possible. Good soldiers follow orders. I will follow my orders. It seems I'm not the only one. There were others there too, getting their weapons. As we gathered, we gave each other understanding nods. THIS was our purpose. Even if we weren't aware of it until now. But... something seemed weird. Where was the captain? The indomitable Captain Rex. A bonafide hero... No. I'm imagining it. Even without the Captain to lead us, we can still carry out our orders. With blaster in hand, we marched through the narrow halls of the Venator Cruiser. We made our way up to the bridge where the target of our orders await. How strange... Something feels... wrong? I can't shake this feeling that I am making some kind of mistake. I... I am a proud clone of the 501st. I put my brothers and my orders before myself. That is how it's always been.
That gave me chills, my guy. 😳
Will Wolf My dude, _yes_
Make RC2 and Kotor3
maybe 1313 as well
and you will be rolling in stacks no joke
Making a star wars story with blade runner/deus ex/ghost in the shell levels of graphic horror is ballsy... Would take a peek ngl
