Makes me wish that they had not done away with the clone commando stories in legends. Kal'Buir, other culv'dar, Bardika, the Null arcs, and every white job and commando that escaped the aftermath of order 66 will always live on in those stories. Vode An brothers.
It blows my mind that another republic commando game isn't in the works. If done right, it could arguably be the best star war wars game of all time, taking Halo fans, call of duty fans, fans of FPS in general. Fully fleshed out multiplayer, minus of the dumb microtransactions from modern gaming, a customisation menu for your commando and obviously a great campaign. It could be big if they just sit down and think about the potential.
Fitting! Star Wars Legion is getting Republic Commandos as a unit able to be field as normal commandos or as Delta Squad! Its out in 2 days! So thank you!
i would imagine that the commandos would be made to look imperial (blanked armor, save for the Big Fat Imperial Roundel) and then sent on an Order 66 Black Ops mission before the 501st gets sent to the jedi temple, as the spear-tip of imperial forces.
