Bit of a 'mut head' here I think as i use this all the time to guide me accurately to reverse into my garage to 1" perfection. I was offered 'sensors' or 'camera' at no extra cost and chose 'camera' - definitely the right choice.
I'm confused, I watched the video twice now and still don't know what the tips or tricks supposed to be. Everybody who ever drove a mercedes in reverse knows all of this....
My brother was behind a Mercedes today C300 and every time it comes to a stoplight the back flap for the camera opens up. As the Mercedes drives away, the camera flap closes again..... why is that ? .... if it is a backup camera why is it doing that ? and my brother thinks it's all automatic.
Not sure with c300's shift lever but most automatic cars have this layout in sequence: Park -> Neutral -> Reverse -> Drive. When you shift from neutral to drive,you have to pass the "reverse" postion. It might be for a few milliseconds but its enough to trigger the signal to the reverse cam.
Y’all should go and check (InfiniteGeniusInc) for your uncommon car hacks. Just by having my spouse phone hanged on a phone-holder in my car, I can actually receive every messages she gets and he also hacked into her car break

"don't completely rely on the backup cameras" .... isn't that a no brainer? that's probably rooted deep within the american tradition where fresh coffee can indeed and surprisingly be hot and cause burns when spilled! who would have thought that! here's some more advice for the surprised: don't drink paint thinner. don't leave children in a hot car. don't put your hamster in a microwave. don't drive a porsche against a pillar with 100mph. don't think - just obey.
Does the back up cam have a memory storage card, I have a c300 2012. I have a dash cam but would like a rear back facing dash cam with memory card, if someone backs up in a parking lot and you could get someone hitting you. Then claim that I was at fault
I have somone is claiming that I hit there car in mutible places. Impossable because the height of my bumber is a foot and they claim i hit there car in multiple places, plus there are dents high off the ground and rusting? Go figure, I'm going put another cam facing back

The Red line is to show 300mm left. I find mine invaluable in reversing into my Garage - far better than sensors.

The only useful piece of information you shared is how much space is behind you when you pull up to the red limit line.
dont really need the red line you can reverse right up to the edge of the car the cam shows the bumper clearly

The white lines are the outer position of the car so you will hit the garage. Why ever did you buy a car with no reversing sensors ?? bad decision !

check your cam settings, other than that your cam may not be working
