Hey GB! At 0:11 the officer "Video Gamer" is kneeling. I don't know if I've seen that before, is that a tactic you can employ? If yes, does it confer bonuses to attack or def or is it just eyecandy? Also, I haven't been able to discern if friendly fire is a thing in this game..
I don’t think it makes much of a difference, but it looks cool. If you right click on a drafted crew member, there’s a kneeling icon. I don’t think there’s any friendly fire, but I’m usually so focused on the threat that I don’t notice.
Would have been great to have instructions how to do this in game. I managed to do it by accident earlier, then started the game up, and totally forgot what buttons I even pressed to do it. So here I am.
@@MrDavidCollins Zoom out with the mouse wheel, left click on the claimed derelict, and on the bottom left you should have a Salvage button. I suspect as they lock in more features and UI elements, they'll include more tutorials in game.
You're in space. Your crew just floats over any holes. There's no gravity there. If dealing with crawlers it wouldn't be a bad idea to float in the middle of a big gap where they can't get you and blast em.
How do I move an item if I dont like where I've placed it ? I place a generator and want to move it somewhere else, can't figure this out , so damn frustrating!!!!!!
Click on the item you want to move, and four icons will pop up. One of those icons will be four arrows. Click that and it'll allow you to place the facility in a new location. Your crew will fully disassemble the facility and reassemble it in the new location.

on the derelicts, there are broken floors and I don't know a way past them. I have been playing for only a few hours and don't understand.

I don't have any of these salvage buttons when I click on the derelict
Even after clearing it out with a crew? You won’t get these options until you claim it
