By the way, if you would drive your car like that with your family in it, they will all be throwing up in under 10min. That is not the purpose of the car, it's for family transport. Agreeing on the visibility issue and the dark interior. Not agreeing with the whole comment on the need for crispier transmission and steering, it's key for SUV vehicles to be easy to operate and focus on comfort not sportiness. The engine here does a great job.

The VW T - Cross out of all the small SUV segments still has the largest front windscreen in comparison to the Taigo and T - Roc plus the back windscreen is larger so your vision is very good as the T Cross is a more boxier shape with more leg and height space i cant understand why you say the front windscreen is a bit small vision for me is perfect in my T - Cross!!!!!!

What a nice car, and nice review. One thing I am interested in is that how does T-cross compare to the Arona, especially the level of wind noises on the high way.
We were wondering how this compares to the other Arona size vehicle, it’s rather crazy to think this these vehicles are built on this smaller platform. We need wonder no more, great review, thank you.

A 2019 car should have LED headlamps as standard and the virtual cockpit, it’s a nice little car though! I’m waiting for the 2020 Golf which is gonna be awesome can’t wait for you guys to show it! I’ll be ordering mine for September 2020

Hello. Great place to shoot a video review. T-Cross is the best package from VW for his dimensions: good interiour space, good habitability and comfort. Pity that a 4Motion is not available for the snowy winter roads. Thank you for the video!

Does the T-Cross tell you when to change gears in the Manuel
VW are making a 1.5 Tdi which will probably find its way on to this car next year!
What is the millage of 1.0 TSI.....?
I think the spare wheel must go to some other place in Asia or Africa, because in South America the T-Cross is made in Brazil and it is a little bit bigger, since it does have the same space as a VW Virtus (Polo Sedan)
Got the 1.5 evo tsi in black pearl, black interior and tinted windows.
Sporty easy to drive and is category A like an electric car ..;) 🌍

Really interested in buying this car!
Do you know whether with me, my wife and three high school youngsters and the boot full of luggage the 1.0 115 TSI with manual 6 speed gearbox would be adequate for motorways?
Also engine weatherstrip where windshield wipers are, looks too narrow at the sides, are there adequate sink holes there to avoid water ingress in the engine bay?
This car is a bit small for 3 grown ups in the back. The t-roc would be better in that regard.

It is more than the Golf has, and that one is a class above.
I have to say that roomwise the T-cross is a "small wonder".
Maybe comparable to the Honda Jazz?

He also forgot to show the trunk space when the floor plate was lowered. I would keep it always in that position.
We are cross shopping the T-Cross with the Opel CrosslandX and Seat Arona - Mrs M wants good visibility as the No 1 and ease of driving in traffic as No 2 (so good tech) have you some guidance or opinions having driven them all please?
All decent cars for sure. Have u seen all 3 reviews in full length? Arona and Tcross mostly differ in styling. Personally i d take the tcross atm

Sir why would you say the front windscreen is small the T - ROC and Taigo is smaller my VW T - Cross has much better view compared to others mentioned?
I think it is good to have hard plastics on door, side of central console. Main reason is that part always gets dirty. It is easy to clean hard plastics than leather or soft touch and they last long. The place where you rest your arm must be soft.
Maybe, but keys and watches easily scratch hard plastic. My car has soft plastic on the console and the glove box is hard. The glove box looks like Wolverine has mauled it.
@@MLife1972I agree with you on that. But soft plastics won't last long in wet conditions, it wears out. I think that's why every manufacturer is using hard plastic. I don't think you reach there much often, may be for seat adjustments, that too why do want to do more often? By the way levers reachable for fingers, u don't have to put ur entire hand to reach there and scratch ur watch.

Do you know how can I turn on sound alert for the safety assistants? For example on lane assist i only feel the steering wheel corrections, but no system sound alert.
Also, for blind spot assist, i see the light in the side mirrors, but the system won't alert me with a sound as well.
Please help...
thats strange, usually it should be the other way around that people struggle to turn it off
@@autogefuehl i bet 😅 but I don't seem to find such a setting. It would be very helpful to know if I have the possibility to switch it on/off, as long as I can find it somewhere in the settings. Your feedback would be much appreciated based on your knowledge and availability to check

Big things do not come on small packages, as this is a relative impossibility. Some say that good things come in small packages.
AutoGefühl. What do you guys think about the Digital cockpit? The speedometer only has 20/40/60/100 km/h instead of 20/40/60/80/100 km/h display. I think it’s a step downwards because the same cockpit is in the Polo/Golf/T-Roc and even the expensive Tiguan. If you look at the new Passat who has The MIB3 navigation and cockpit is far more better then he cockpit in the polo/GolfT-Roc and Tiguan. The cockpit in the new Passat has a better speedometer display.
This is not the same Virtual Cockpit that use Golf and Tiguan, its similar to the Polo and T-Roc
It's a 12.3" Active Info Display screen on the Tiguan and Passat.

I watched this review as I wanted to compare it to my recently bought Fiat 500L City Cross S Design, more particular the space and comfort inside and the interior trim. The Fiat 500L is a bit longer though.
It has similar practicality as this TCross. Also the center screens in both cars are integrated into the dashboard, very good. Hard plastics in both, for a family car that's just fine. Visibility is superior in the 500L though.
I am very happy with my purchase, to be clear.
The functionality of the infotainment and its quality looks higher end in the vw however. Though I am very pleased with the 7inch screen in my 500L.
Sorry to barge in in this review with my comparing comment, I know this is about the VW tcross, not my Fiat 500L....but.... I have to ask this...

FYI, you should do a thorough review about the new WLTP test to measure car co2 exhaust, coming to Europe from 2020. It is ridiculous how high the enregistrement is for the 500L with the WLTP value : €2.300 in Belgium. Fortunately I bought mine just in time, still paying €1.000 to put it on the street. It really will be a game changer in automotive world.
This car has potential and is finally getting the engine it deserves assuming VW have sorted out the problems with the 1.5TSI but oh dear the cheap nasty scratchy plastic even on a Rline trim are absolutely inexcusable for the money. There is no way I’m returning to VW having had many over the years until they up their game.

It was recently under driving embargo. So this was the first time they actually drove it. 😉
If you want a sporty drive you don't buy an SUV what you do get is a more comfortable driving experience I've got the skoda karoq and absolutely luv it and would never go back to driving with my backside 3 inches off the ground unless your Fred Flintstone.

der auch zusätzlich mit Zylinderabschaltung ausgestattet ist !!
Und zwar in Massenproduktion, damit der Preis gut bezahlbar ist!!
