📽️ Edward Utterson (Louis Hayward), the adopted son of an eminent attorney, is expelled from the Royal Academy of Science for conducting inappropriate experiments. His concerned mentor, psychologist Curtis Lanyon (Alexander Knox), reveals to Edward that his real father is the infamous Dr. Henry Jekyll (also Hayward), whose experiments led to madness and the death of both his parents. Although stunned, Edward decides he must vindicate his father by discovering where his experiments went wrong.

@@glenjennett yeah, but characters doing the stupid thing hasn't changed much. I encounter that in new BOOKS too. I'm grateful for the few writers who like to surprise us.
@@glenjennett My favorite thing in fiction is when the writer blindsides me with something brilliant. When I didn't see something coming from miles away. Same goes for life. People are so predictable.
