"The Leech Woman" is a cult classic that blends elements of horror with the paranoia of aging, making it an interesting piece of early 60s horror cinema. While it's not considered a high-budget film, it offers a chilling story that has captivated fans of vintage horror films.
Excellent movie. Must watch.
My mother once said, "never underestimate the power of a woman's vanity." Boy, did this movie ever prove that true.
Vanity=Pride, the reason Lucifer was booted from Heaven and became Satan
@@orionxtc1119 thats a nice commic…
The old black lady wasn't completely vain. I can't completely blame her for wanting this after what she had gone through in her life, taken from her home as a child, branded as someone's merchandise, forced to be a slave to people who spoke a different language, couldn't go back home
I enjoyed this film. Thank you so much for posting.
Colleen has a small part at the beginning of the western classic, Red River, one of her first roles. Here, she gives a fine performance. That alone is well worth watching.
I enjoyed that. Thank you for posting.
Good movie. Worth watching ❤ 🙏
I enjoy these Ole skool movies 😊
Me too.
They're my favorite.
Was that a marriage made in heaven 🤩😅😮
Seen both before but at start of movie got this confused with "The Wasp Women" seeing both about miracle treatment to regain youth. Both movies good
I remember The Wasp Woman. It had something to do with a special honey extract. If I remember correctly. She was a cosmetic company president. I like these kinds of movies. 😊
@@kev1959in this is exactly what happened to me! It was so very many years before I was able to get to see this movie again. I was also confused. However, I now was very fortunate to finally get to see this movie again. Did you know that the Wasp woman was actually remade in the late 1980's or maybe in the 1990's for Show Time or HBO? 🤔 Very good! 😱🤗
Coleen Gray's best performance. She plays four different women in this film, all believable. She was also good in "Nightmare Alley" with Tyrone Power.
I in fact adore British English and i am an American. Thank you.
Me too
@@CindyTeague-x6p @winterRavens good for you. Is it ok with you both that I don’t? Do I need your permission? LOL LOL
@@WinterRavens hi Karen 🤣
This is a completely American film. Don't know what your talking about.
@ i agree i only said this because of someone’s rude comment about British English.
Spooky Spooky !!😮😮😅😅
Awesome Excellent movie Thanks for Sharing 💯
Don't listen to trolls BS 😆
I wonder it was cast with such unknowns. It's a good story.
Thank you so very much for giving me one of my absolutely favorite movies!! 💌 I am so very happy to get to see this movie now in an excellent colorized offering! 😱 🤗🥰 Note: did you know that Colleen Gray was Billy Gray's sister? (He played Bud on Father Knows Best) 🧐🤔Also, Philip Terry was once married to Joan Crawford?🧐🤔
Thanks I didn't know about either of these things.
Love it!!
Good film 👍👍
I love this movie 🎬. I've lost count. This would be a good reboot if the right one done it. I think Del Torro would be perfect. 💋💋💋💋💋💋
From the title, I'm pretty sure a sizeable number of men thought "They finally made a movie about my ex wife".
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂❤
Nice movie!
GOOD ONE
This movie scared me as a kid!🫣
I was born that year, OMG I'm so old.
I have never watched before but I'm going to check it out 😮😮😮😮 hope it's not a waste of time 😅😅😅😅😅
The Elegantly Glamorous Beauty Kim Hamilton. Whom played Malla in this Film. She was an underrated Actress. She should have been more well known like Lena Horne and Dorothy Dandridge. During their Era in the Film Industry. RIP🌹
The pineal gland, if you dont know, is in the middle of the brain, not the back of the neck.
Behind the ear..
Details... shmeetails! 😄
Grant Williams was The Incredible Shrinking Man.
20:00 at least they didn’t shoot the snake! That was a pleasant surprise. Until the leopard. Thankful that was all, that is except for the humans…😂
Enjoyed this, thanks.
Yeah, I thought the same, but with a throwing knife.
Where can I get some of that youth potion! 😳😂😂😂
Wauw, I'm on 2:29..THAT'S A DIALOQUE I haven't heard/seen in A long time. Thanks!
That couple would make a great George and Martha version of " Whose afraid of Virginia Woolf ?"
Some of this looks like a B&W movie that has been sloppily colorized, while some of the stock footage of natural settings and animals was made in color.
It was filmed in b/w. If you like this movie then I recommend watching A Wig for Miss DeVore from Boris Karloff's Thriller.
seen it!
Interesting one
It's one of my favorites!
@@Annika__Simon ,one of my favorites as well. Thanks for posting the Film.💖
A Tarzan movie without Tarzan
The awful coloration process gives everyone the same skin tones, and most of the scenery and costumes just look drab and dark.
I was so angry when the leopard was killed due to the actions of that emotional cripple.
Better in its original black and white
What. You don’t enjoy purple faced “cadaver-vision”?
What a narcisistic woman
But is her husband better?
GREAT COLOR!
Badly colorized?
This is apparently a colorized version of a black and white movie. Their skin looks weird.
This movie terrified me as a child, this is a big nope to me 😂
You gotta get a man you can trust,
sexist trope, good film!
Great recommendation , sexist , I am sick of political correctness.
@@DonBailey-od1de good, cause I am tired of your ilk as well.
@SePutnamstudios
It's only a MOVIE! What are watching it for in the 1st place......?
Normally when I find an old horror movie I feel that I will be in for a treat, however this film is not one of them, a pity but not every film can be good.
Has their been a Jungle exploration film made without the native bearers running away at the first sign of danger?
Why? It's reality. Why would they stick around?
😂😂😂❤
Because they're paid to stay.
Just finished watching this film and I am left asking...did ANYONE in this movie pay attention to the script? This was the most hilariously inept, illogical script. It is for this reason I am recommending you watch. You will howl with laughter!
Bruh... The Title is The Leech Women. Did you expect Faulkner?
