    for Sniper/Slinger - Madness and PT are the biggest threats; I try to LOS them and prevent their full rotation as much as possible; but facing a good madness sorc --> No chance, even if you run away, DoT's will eat you. I found that as a sniper you need to be very agressive against madness - chase them, root them, knocback them, stun them - anything to make them buble and then repeat.

      Yeah i know, i mean i clearly know how to play against madness, the longer the fight the better for madness and gotta play against it agressively with every spec in the game. But this is what im talking about, sniper has no tools to even have a chance against madness. They have better dmg reduction a ton of brutal built in heal and a ton of brutal dedicated heals and better mobility than sniper, they can run around a pillar and heal to full as long as they want, especially with the desync the game has. While sniper defense is only good against burst and instant dmg and only if its used in the right time. Like i said in description sorcerer can facetank even melee, pts anything for long enough with the dmg reduction it can get and with all the heals. I can understand that Engi has a build that can crit like hell, but its easy to defend and need some preparation while sorc has polarity shift for 15 seconds which is superior to one big crit. Clearly you need line of sight to have a chance against sorc, but in arena no spec can force a half good madness to keep in line of sight. Im not the best sniper out there, but i know one thing for sure, and that is control of the battlefield with slows and roots. Trust me even an engi sniper cant control a half good madness enough to have a chance. All the difference is too big on all aspect of the game in favor for madness. Madness have always been the counter for sniper but now madness is untouchable for other specs too. But for sniper, the squishiest class in the game with 0 regeneration or dot cleanse or stealth\vanish or proper dcd, it not just cant race with madness in 1v1 or in regular combat situation, but it can be humiliated in every situation this game has.

    The slow (even persist after respawn) and root and their life steal are getting too riddiculous.

      i agree on most of it. the death brand slow is a joke. its a broken ability for a year now. life steal is sick as hell, but its a ranged it needs some root\slows but with like half of the survivability it currently has. The real problem is the selfhealing built into damaging abilities and the 15% dmg reduction which is brutal, with these sorc dont even need to kite properly because it can just facetank enemies.
      To feel how strong is 15% dmg reduction..... PT and Merc main def ability with 2 mins cd is 25% dmg reduction. Madness has 15% dmg reduction constantly up.

    @Faltun Is there any advantage in playing lightning instead of madness? I play madness and in pvp or fp I meet lightning far more often than madness, dont know why. Im thinking about trying lightning too cause of it. Can you please write me a brief comparison?

      Lightning has better burst. Many ppl say lightning is bad for pvp. Clearly its not as hard to kill as madness, but it has sick burst and still better survivability than many other specs. A good lightning can burst down players pretty fast, harder to survive with, but still good enough in the right hands. Try it and you can decide if you like the style of it or not. I like dot specs so i perefer madness always even when it was weak as hell but its personal preference i guess.

      @@faltun thank you, i also wanted to ask about your preference for tactical and implants for madness. I use overwhelming power as tactical and curretly just basic blue 336 implants cause im not able to see any big advantage in any available gold implants for madness. They just dont seem to be worth investing techfrags. Non of them looks broken like shadowcraft on deception (as i see it).

    Some people say that because you're doing yellow damage, you don't need accuracy. Rubbish. You do need it and it makes a big difference. I like the high alacrity build myself, it just feels better, but often times you can get more dps with lower alacrity and more crit. What relics are you using? Crit and Master? I just started playing Madness sorc after not playing it at all for like a year and I'm having fun.

      madness dosent need any accuracy in pvp like conc oper since all their dmg is force dmg and base defense of dps classes only gives ranged and melee defense and not force or tech. For pvp all accuracy on dps sorc or conc oper is a total waste against every spec that is not tank. its a fact and its not subjective thing or personal preference. Having accuracy on these specs make a huge diffrence on the negative way, because you waste all that stat.
      im usung mastery and power.

    Yeah Madness/Balance needs some changes done to it for PvP reasons
