- Converted eBay fog lights to use factory OEM harness.
Purchased fog light relay and turn signal from Rock Auto web site.
NOTE: No extension cable needed for driver's side. I am not sure what that other cable is for. it had same type of plug. The one on driver's side was really tucked and taped away by NUMMI plant in Fremont, CA - currently makes Teslas.
Recovered video from old phone - filmed in 07/2017.
Real fact, the turning signal that I got for my 2004 Toyota Corolla is from 2005 Pontiac Vibe, basically its the same car shearing a lot of things from Toyota Corolla at that time, many thanks for the video it did make it easier for me.
Glad this old video was of help. Both the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix were assembled at same plant in California, which is currently the Tesla factory in the Bay Area 👍
Awesome to see you making some videos! I wish the 10th gen fog lights were that easy to to add to the OEM harness. I have seen people do it, but they still need to splice into some wiring on the 10th gen.

Does your ce have manual windows? Would you have instructions on how to convert the manual into power windows? Id like to get OEM from a junkyard get he panels etc. Very nice tutorial and explanation i enjoyed the video
As far as I know, the CE (AKA "Classic Edition" only came with manual windows, as it was a stripped down edition.
I've never done a conversation, but would think you only need to find LE (Luxury Edition) version in junk yard and grab all the stuff needed.
The "S" (Sport) model also had power windows, but would only have black interior and never beige or grey.

A couple of mistakes in that video.
I did not need a cable for other fog light. I just had to look for the other plug, which was taped up and tucked away.

So, no wire cutting.
There are factory OEM cables that are tucked away and taped up.
Toyota only had one wiring harness, whether you had CE (classic edition) like me. The CE never was sold with fog lights. LE and S model did include the optional fog lights.
To add fog lights to a CE or LE (that had the option), you only need to buy fog lights, the relay, and the turn stalk.
I would like to redo this video to better explain how I did it.

Bear in mind, my 03 Corolla is USDM and not international version (Altis)

I have a U.S. built 2003 Corolla LE. Does it come prewired for Fog Lights? I am unable to find the connectors. Thank you for any help.

If you can make a video of what you can see, perhaps remove the bumper cover, then post to UA-cam, we can all look together
?.?.? I'm wondering if the OEM system has an auto shut off for the fogs, ie when you turn off the vehicle and lock it do the lights turn off automatically ?
Newer Toyota the fogs only work when lights are on unless you do an anytime mod, but they also will shut off regardless when the vehicle shuts off and you lock it.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
That is correct - the fogs don't turn on without the lights on and engine running . If lights are turned off, my fogs also turn off.

You think i need to put a fuse also in the fuse box for fog?
@@s.a.mproductions1113 not sure about a fuse - just the relay , then the turn signal stalks, plus the fog lights.
Maybe you have a bad fuse somewhere?
Was just thinking - on passenger side there are two connectors that look the same.
I had thought both were for fog lights. Only one is for fog light, I am not sure what the other one is for. On driver's side, there is only one cable. Try only connecting the one on driver's side.

Where can you get the extension harness for the passenger side?
I did not need. I found the one on other side tucked away.
You can buy wires and plugs online via Amazon or use Google search for Toyota wiring kits. 👍
hello help pls why doesnt my blinker turn on when i installed everything?
Was blinker working before? Perhaps you have a bad turn signal - return it for a refund and buy a new one (from a reputable source).
Perhaps a bad fuse?
Relay for fog light would have no impact, as it is on separate circuit as far as I know.
So, either it is a bad turn signal or the fuse for blinker

My fog lights. Don’t turn off.
Sorry, I'm not a fog light engineer, or a mechanic - just a guy that shared my dog light installation (eBay fog lights + relay + turn signal).
That being said, perhaps you can make your own UA-cam video to share your issue? In worst case scenario, you may want to bring car to dealership or local qualified mechanic.
I wish I could be of more help.
Maybe you wired relay to DRL and not headlight?
