Hi everyone! We hope you enjoy day 4 of the trip featuring our favourite lake in the entire park! For those who are looking for the 4K version of the video, it should be finished encoding on UA-cam’s end any moment, though the 1080p version’s good to go now if you’d like to enjoy that. By the way, welcome to all our new subscribers from Joe Robinet’s channel! We’ve been reading all your wonderful comments - thank you! For our subscribers who don’t know, I recently had the pleasure of editing together the trailer at the beginning of Joe’s Woodland Caribou Park trip - you can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/fqXXMVBDl6w/v-deo.html As always, thanks so much to everyone for watching, as well as all your comments, likes, shares, and if you haven’t already, subscribing to help support our channel - we really appreciate it! -Chris, Julia & Cedar :)
Chris Prouse morning ladies, nice to see some wilderness vid with breakfast this morning. Flat water and sunshine,🌞 thank you for sharing, hope all is well. 👍😎🇨🇦 , Bob
The one stream you guys paddle... my hubby and I paddled that exact stream a few years ago and got stopped for 45 minutes while a moose was blocking the way past. She was drinking and eating and would not move lol. She didnt care if we needed to get to our site lol. It was amazing. You have some fantastic vids! Keep up the good work!
Serenity, inner peace, and connecting with nature.....these are God’s gift to all of us willing to go out there and live it. Thank you for reminding us with each video, just what it means to be one with nature, and yourself....
You're on different level from the rest. You capture through both sight and sound the details and the beauty. Others have their strengths as well. But when I click on your Vids.....I'm watching through your eyes.
Hello. The quality of your videos are among the best, if not the best on UA-cam now. We really enjoy your content also. Watching you two in your adventures always makes us smile. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks for watching! Definitely worth checking out - Lake Louisa's another great lake in the South too, and it's where Julia invented the Peanut Better S'more :)
Had to check the map to find that one... wow, it looks rather hard to get to! There's so much loveliness to explore! This year we did the Rain Lake > Islet > McCraney loop in July. Lovely area but interesting how things differed from other areas of the park -- most of the campsites were steep entry, for instance.
Oh,so relaxing and inspiratin'...I spent the day in mountains and now I'm layin' in bed and watching this...thank you Chris,Julia and little Cedar! :-)
Hi Chris, Julia and baby Cedar! You have inspired me to get out and try canoeing, first lesson coming up soon! Thank you so much for sharing this most beautiful and peaceful part of your lives with us! Love your channel❤️
There’s just something about your videos that just touches my soul. Your son will have so many amazing adventures and I am glad to be able to share in the memories you create. Some of our fondest memories are camping with our son, Sky.❤️
Wonderful Video. I love how you showcase Canada in its glorious beauty. I find myself always looking for the elusive Carl the chippy in your vids as well hehe.
You two are the perfect mix of goofy and bad ars, I love it! Great stuff, love the beautiful shots and wonderful content you provide. Thx for the laughs and sharing the experience. Watching older videos where y'all are whipping that car around makes me want to see ya run a track day or something 👍 keep up the great work!
Chris, I appreciate your willingness to experiment with different devices and features to add originality and richness to your presentation of the beautiful park and your adventures through it. Great job! I admire your creativity.
The opening minute is exactly why I love overnight canoe camping and long interior canoe trips. There's very few things that beat waking up to a foggy lake or river, before the sun is fully up to have burnt it off, with no wind, the loons calling, giving me chills just typing this out :) I guess that's how I know it's been too long since I was last out.
Chris, you have an amazing talent of telling captivating stories using videography. I look forward to each new chapter. Great work on Joe Robinet's latest adventure intro.
That fog on the water! Wow. Love your stuff so much. It really captures that essence of quiet joy my wife and I always experience when in the BWCAW. We're going on a six day trip starting September 1st. ONLY NINE DAYS TO GO! I've asked my daughter to check out your stuff. She doesn't enjoy camping AT ALL but these videos should give her an understanding of why we love it. Thank you for helping me share this with my daughter!
I love the high quality sounds of your paddling. The waters dance in my head and bring me back to the days when I was doing just the same. Thank you both so much and please give us more!
Stunning! Just came back from backpacking the Western Uplands Trail in Algonquin and the sites and trails were beautiful. Definitely, have to go back and canoe!
Easily the best editing and cinematography in the genre. Beautifully done. You guys are great. I love the vids. Fantastic adventure! Thanks for taking me along. Cheers from Vancouver Island!
Saw your new video up. Got a fresh cup of coffee, then proceeded to watch the most cinematic intro of any vid on youtube (and Julia making a fresh cup of coffee). Life is good.
When you put two guys at 255, or there abouts, in a canoe there's no floating that dang razor 😂😂 Love the video, that series of lakes has made some of my best lifetime memories. Thanks for taking me back!
Just got home from a five day paddle in the park and for some reason I watched your latest video. Guess I can't get enough! This one seemed like a tribute to Julia for carrying a baby like no one I've ever seen! A friend of mine told me he met you on Smoke Lake at around this time last summer. He didn't know who you were, but when he described you because he was so impressed with your video gear I assumed it was the two of you. The pregnant belly through me off a bit but later it all came together. Of course I believe it was at the beginning of this series and I would have liked to have been there to meet you too. I wish there was a way to express how much I appreciate what you do, but I have only a few words.Keep on keeping on. Blue Skies!
Spectacular intro! Nice video as always! We were always impressed with the rock hopping with a canoe on your shoulders. But since we own a swift ourselves, we understand why it looks so easy :)

Cool! Glad to hear you had a good trip Laura! How were the bugs?
Not too bad, the trails were really dry so I'm sure the minimal amounts of standing water helped.
