Rubrub should stop worrying about pressure and anticipation and just work on the level at his own pace. What makes Robtop levels special is that they are made by him, the creator of the game itself. Community levels can be better in a lot of ways but I really don't think that should be raising expectations for official levels. Robtop levels have a very specific feel and I love it so much, and I wouldn't want him to rush it nor delay it further than it really needs to be simply because of pressure and expectations. When he thinks it's finished and he's proud of what he's made he should release it.

The only thing I would really push back against that you mentioned is the prospect of Rob hiring a creator to work on Explorers. Rob's levels are really unique and hit different compared to any user-created level. Hell, my most rebeat level ever is TOE II, and Deadlocked isn't far behind. No disrespect to the great gd creators of course, but I just love Rob's style so much that I just can't see anyone taking up the task.

●Close 2.2 Servers and revert to 2.1 until Explorers is finished
●Stop making Explorers
●avoid other features, bugs etc. And concentrate only on Explorers to win with community speed.

This is the same problem I believed dash suffered, people had to much expectations, fanmade remakes, and sneak peaks which all most likely pressured Robtop to make a better version and ended up rushing it. :/

What I think would help this level not get delayed if building it is a creator contest where RobTop uploads the cut of Explorers where people will build from that portion of the level and the winner gets there level placed as a Main level or RobTop can hire a person who is an Expert at creating like literally any creator and get the level finished like that and then get a playtester to see if the level does not have any problems like Dash. I hope this is the case if not I don't know what it is.
But I hope it does not get put into the next update (2.3) as Explorers would look WAY too different.

I don’t think that the community version of explorers is actualy better because Rob makes everything way more polished and the community version is kind of messy and early 2.0ish looking so idk

One thing to remember is that with so many more features, good levels are much more difficult to create than they once were, so it makes sense that it would take a lot more time for RobTop to make them.

I personally think that robtop could let elder moderators who are good at creating give feedback on the level so that he doesn't have to make the levels entirely solo while keeping the 'robtop charm'

If rob makes us wait for 5 years or more, I cannot even trust him anymore. I don't hate rob but he really needs more help such as a team of developers, beta and alpha testers due to how big this game is as well as the playerbase.
5:00 to fix this problem, maybe robtop can make explorers with the help of the mods (like some collab between them).
Other option is to delay explorers untill he puts some new features (like rotating solid blocks) so explorers becomes the first lvl using thad said feature.

Like many users say, the robtop levels have a certain charm to them. I hope he doesn't think he needs to match the community standards because no matter what, itll be a robtop level and ill love it no matter what!

Non of the fanmade ones have raised expectations. They lowered it.
The gameplay is either slow or all staccato clicks and not enough holds which make it stale. The color schemes are bland and repetitive, expected of a v2 not the level itself. There is sometimes too much stale ascending/descending tower gameplay, a gimmick that’s fine in Dash but shouldn’t make a second appearance. The bossfight can sometimes overtake the level when in deadlocked it was just some dodging attacks for a few seconds
I will always enjoy robtop’s more, these guys are lacking imagination
