Bit of a DJ noob here, i just have a Pioneer DDJ200, for me to set that up in a disco i don't have the speaker ports on the controller but i'l set up through the laptop To put the sound through the speakers should i have an amplifier connected to the laptop and the speakers connected to the amp?

You are correct, it is this RCA to XLR cable: www.getinthemix.com/accessories/cables-connectors/stagecore-2x-male-xlr-to-2x-male-rca-phono-professional-audio-signal-cable.htm
Also are the equinox oynx reliable and don't break for no reason like these others I bought a pair for 129 maybe more and they fucked up for literally no reason at all so need two more spider fixtures like yours
We've had a great record with Alto speakers and rarely see them encounter faults, they are good for reliability. Size of the room is a big factor for loudness, but typically yes the 15" versions (TX215 in this package) should be plenty for 100 people. For that extra bit of loudness and bottom end there is the TS315 range available as the next step up!
I run the TS215 for small to med crowds. They do get loud enough. Make sure that the woofer is up at ear level. This will allow the sound to get to the back of the room or dance floor and not get absorbed by the bodies up front.
hi im seeking help about what type of car is great for transporting dj gear .pherhaps carrying two subs and lights . should I only consider a suv car or van or simply a station wagon
Hi do you know what the best dmx controller is for intelligent fixtures/ lighting and atmospherics please need to know will be alot of fixtures so needs to be a good size as I was Gunna get one but doesn't seem by the specs like it would be enough I'm onabout like 20 in total for a very large setup
Good video for the beginner dj. Can you make a video of your liteconsole dj booth. I am curious about the working height of it, as I am 1m85 and don't like bending over all night 😁
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! We'll see as we get time, we have lots of videos planned at the moment but DJ Tutor does have a video over on his channel that shows the DBS Lite booth here: ua-cam.com/video/uLAl5AZmzTg/v-deo.html Also just got the measurement on the actual shelf height of that booth for you and that is 94cm or 37".

this looks a great package and thanks so much for explaining clearly and slowly. Love your channel
I love this vid exactly the same setup as I got and it helped me get started.
I would like to know if there are any really cheap beginner dj packages available any where
Nice video! Whats the tune at the start of it ?
Should've shown what the lighting looks like in the dark
why wasnt that sort of help and info around when i started up in late 70s early 80s????
The PA Loudspeakers are too near to the DJs head. I try to reach 3 meters minimum between dj head and PA every time.
Invest in some black lx tape and neatly run the cables down the backs of poles etc nothing worse than messy cables on view like that!

Are the alto speakers loud enough for mobile events of up to 100 people, and what are they like for reliabilty.

i cant wait to get mine :)
Would it be safe to assume that I could use all this equipment but with a different set of decks if I didn't want the Numark?
Absolutely. The only thing that may need changing is the XLR to RCA cable depending on the output options on your decks/controller/mixer.

Pleased to subscribe as I would like to develop towards being a mobile DJ and your videos are really useful. Many thanks

No dj should be using rca line leads especially that long to a powered speaker.I am genuinely shocked.Expensive kit and rubbish audio connections
