In this video, I demonstrate how to set up a wireless mobile DJ rig with SKAA wireless. Using the Dillinger Labs Dani Transmitter, Soundboks 4 main speakers, and Dillinger Labs Death From Below subwoofers. SKAA wireless is the ultimate way to bring your rig to any gig, anywhere, even in remote locations where you don't have access to power. I also explore some alternative configurations for different applications, how to incorporate headphones, and how to convert your existing wired system into a wireless system. Enjoy!

Very informative video! QUESTION: why not use one Dani transmitter and daisy chain each SOUNDBOKS with a DBF? isnt this an option?

Super-fascinating video and tech. As a long-time DJ (coming on 30 years in a couple) and original Serato user (from 2004), I"m very very intrigued by the implications here. But the sceptical side of me (from being burned by wireless tech a thousand times in the past) is wondering about latency. 😂

I don’t do setup for live events, but I can see how this could be useful in the studio. Any time you can reduce the cabling rats nest is, imho, a good thing.

I use the DFB sub as my main studio sub now. Great sounding sub for studio or live use. I also use the Dani and Streetheart as my headphone monitoring system for recording. Cerwin Vega already makes SKAA studio monitors that can run on this same tech. So you have your main studio speakers be wireless as well.

Sounds great. I hope to have a new studio space in the future, and will definitely be interested in this tech for comms between the rooms as well. Does the system support any form of clock sync, or do you just depend on the fixed latency and assume everything is in sync? Either way, I guess it would dictate which mode you choose to run all the devices.

Beyond matching tempo and crossfading tracks, I'm not much of a DJ! 😂 Although, I may use this setup in the future to demonstrate a live electronic music performance. That I can do.

For no cable runs? You Wedding DJ's and Corporate Event DJ's can use this and it will pay for itself easily.
