- Today on JD Cars we’re installing the all new Rough Country 50-Inch Straight Cree LED Single Row Black Series Light Bar W/ Cool White Daytime Running Lights. There are hundreds of LED light bars on the market, but no other is light this all new LED bar from Rough Country. Unique to this light bar are the Cool White DRL. These are a much dimmer set of 24 LEDs appropriate for street use to give your Jeep a unique look. The trail use LEDs are astonishingly bright! I tested them out last night on the trails and it was as bright as day! Overall, I highly recommend this light bar. I could not be happier with it. Thanks for watching! Anyone have a 2012 trying for this the firewall entrence is through the drivers side stearing panel next to the door. It was a huge pain to find! Wish it was as easy as in the video. But the video definitely helped me tons thanks!!

Where can I get one of those 3 position RC switches? Mine came with the round type switch that dont fit in my oem spot on my Tacoma

how has the wind noise been with the single row light bar? I had a dual row one in the past and the whistling was unbearable

Awesome video! I was wondering why/if it is necessary to split the ground wire in order to plug it into the voswitch. Can’t the DRL’s and full power LED’s both ground to the first terminal regardless of which switch you have activated?
I suppose so yes but my voswitch box has a positive and negative for each accessory
Hey man great video! Quick question do the drl’s have to be on separate switches? I have the aux option on my Jeep and was wondering if I can just run both of the leds and drl leds wires into the 40 amp wires at once?
You can certainly run them on the same switch for simplicity! I’m not entirely sure whether or not you would require a higher amperage fuse.. maybe 60A or 80A to account for the combined draw of current. Give it a shot! Worst case, you blow a fuse.

How is wind noise?? I am considering getting the double light bar.. not sure if the one you got is better on wind noise.
I’ve noticed a little bit of wind noise at high speed with the top off. I don’t think it will he an issue with the top on.

Yes! I installed them over the light bar bracket with longer bolts

No seat covers here! Just black cloth seats

Stock size believe it or not! The stubby fender flares make the tires and axles look bigger
Debating between this and the double row. Double row is over 40,000 lumens. Single row is 20,000. Do you find it bright enough or would you go with the double row if you were to do it again? Great vid bro
Love the look of the single row but not sure if 20,000 is enough output for what I’m looking for
Good question! Personally, I am a big fan of the sleek single row and I found the single row to be MORE than bright enough for every nighttime situation I've been in.

A 19 minute video on a light bar and only shows the light bar on during the day...no footage at night. Well that was a waste of time
