@azraelotsutsuki I don’t think you know how production on movies work, but neither of these movies were in production for over a decade. They were in early pre-production for about that long, but that is not production. If there were scenes from the flash that were filmed in 2014, everyone’s would be able to tell because Ezra Miller would look noticeably younger and less muscular and the camera quality would be drastically different. Both of these movies were shot entirely within the last 3 years tops, I guarantee it. The reason the CGI looked like shit is because CGI budgets nowadays are stretched across 5+ VFX houses, each with dozens of employees who are not in communication with the other houses on a cohesive vision. And also because VFX artists in Hollywood are notoriously overworked and underpaid, and subject to inhumane crunch times
@@lotsofoptimism the actual film ranges from corny to pretty good. Depends on the actor in all honesty, but Michael Keaton feels like LEGO Batman lite.
The Flash story is actually extremely good. The fact that the only thing he wants in this world (save his mom) is in his grasp but he has a choice to make. Either the world or his mom. The irony is, his world is his mom. So you have this character who is in a position and only him who is capable having to choose between the two. Then after choosing wrong has to undo it and finally let go accepting the fate. This story actually has punishment and cant be a two win scenario like we see in marvel. Which adds a seriousness and more emotional enjoyment in the stories.
The one thing I kept wondering throughout the film was why Barry never tried to find who actually killed his mom. It never crosses his mind. Forget Flashpointing, he could have just gone back, identified the killer, and then found a way to get him arrested in the present day through DNA or some shit.
I like the part when Christopher Reeves Superman and Helen Slater's Supergirl appeared in Lawnmower man level CGI. Definitely one of the funniest movie moments of all time

It really just shows how good MCU is compared to DCEU. They can afford to just drop one of the biggest villains and they’ll still attract audiences, but DCEU is so shit. If Ezra Miller is in MCU he’s 100% dropped.
I think as a whole DC does a decent job integrating jokes into the story & characters, whereas with some MCU movies it feels like the everything else pauses in a "okay, time to tell a joke now! Please laugh!" sense
When Barry said "So what are you? some flash flashy?" to his alternate self and started flashing his genitals, I clenched my fist, put it high up in the air and started crying...truly a multiversal masterpiece
The movie was filmed before Ezra’s reign of terror so it makes sense to me why they still released it with Ezra in it due to the fact that they can’t exactly just reshoot an entire 200M dollar movie. However, if they make a sequel with Ezra after the fact that is completely different due to the fact that it is AFTER the fact. They were put in a corner with this one, but there is no excuse if they keep Ezra for the sequel.
they also kept amber heard so nah I'm done with DC they actively loose money on me [they buy ads that I have seen countless of and as I'm not watching the movie they are indeed loosing money on me]
I enjoyed the movie solely because keaton was the best thing in the movie. And that's only bc of nostalgia transporting me back to batman and batman returns. Seeing the batcave, that iconic batmobile and the batwing coming out in that batman symbol shape... it truly gave me such a nostalgia hit that I enjoyed the movie from that point on.
I think the thing that annoys me the most, is just how different many of the little things are from the original comic book flashpoint to the one we got in the movie.

@@azrael_morningstar The movie didn't start filming till like 2021.
I completely lost my shit at the part where when the microwave was opened, what you see is a CGI baby that just got microwaved into the PS3 era.
I agree
I walked out of the theater thinking it was alright
Ezra Miller’s acting was good in this movie that I completely forgot about all the crimes he’s being charged for!

really? their acting was actually good? it looked like absolute garbage in the trailer lol

@@lotsofoptimism the actual film ranges from corny to pretty good. Depends on the actor in all honesty, but Michael Keaton feels like LEGO Batman lite.
No idea how Ezra Miller still hasn't experienced any repercussions from all the assault and shit they did.

There was an ad of the Flash before this video lol, it said, “This is my movie of the year.” Lol
My favorite part is when the Flash said “its flashing time” and several children suspiciously went missing after visiting his house.

It’s like 50 degrees in the city I’m in so I honestly forgot it was June when Charlie was complaining about the weather

I like the part when Christopher Reeves Superman and Helen Slater's Supergirl appeared in Lawnmower man level CGI. Definitely one of the funniest movie moments of all time

Did this really happen? Oh god

I just can't believe after a decade of DCEU, the only villain they brought back for their event film is... Man of Steel's Michael Shannon

I was not expecting anything and I loved it. Finally DC is starting to get it right
I was not expecting anything and I hated it and now I'm scared for all future DC movies even more. I can't even begin to comprehend why they chose Andy to direct the new Batman movie.
@@kitchensarehot8769Because he did a good job. Everyone thinks this movie is good except for the CGI.
@@volkovedits CGI aside the story still sucks and the end is horrible. It literally could have been a much better movie but the joke ending ruined it.
@@kitchensarehot8769 The Clooney ending? I think it’s a pretty good way of telling that Flash is stuck in another universe and won’t come back because they brought the absolute worst Batman which they won’t bring back
@@volkovedits My point there is what's the point about the soup... and his dad being release from prison.. nothing, cause he's not even in his right universe.
Crazy how fast Jonathan Majors was dropped over one false allegation but this man is just thriving amongst everything
i better not catch you in the streets with them cheeks open or its gonna get wicked
I don't think that he's been dropped by Marvel yet, but yeah if he goes Ezra definitely should too
As far as we know he isn't being picked up by anybody? Also, Marvel as of right now isn't cutting the content Majors has done for Loki season 2, similar situation with Ezra in this film.
It really just shows how good MCU is compared to DCEU. They can afford to just drop one of the biggest villains and they’ll still attract audiences, but DCEU is so shit. If Ezra Miller is in MCU he’s 100% dropped.
@@lebryanthoward9416 Unless there's proof Majors has been dropped, then that's BS. It ain't a Marvel v DC thing, that's a corporate Hollywood problem
I think as a whole DC does a decent job integrating jokes into the story & characters, whereas with some MCU movies it feels like the everything else pauses in a "okay, time to tell a joke now! Please laugh!" sense

It was a fine enough popcorn flick, but don’t think I’d rewatch it again
The CGI(especially the uncanny valley inducing CGI cameos at the end) brought this move down to a 6.5/10 from a solid 8/10 for me.
In the cinema I was in, there were only two other people in the room except my dad and myself.
The OG Batman & Super Girl were my favorite parts of the movie. But Spy Kids from like 20 years ago had better cgi
Ezra Miller probably Flashed trough his crimes more than he Flashed in this movie

thats what im saying
The movie was filmed before Ezra’s reign of terror so it makes sense to me why they still released it with Ezra in it due to the fact that they can’t exactly just reshoot an entire 200M dollar movie. However, if they make a sequel with Ezra after the fact that is completely different due to the fact that it is AFTER the fact. They were put in a corner with this one, but there is no excuse if they keep Ezra for the sequel.
